I really appreciated the simplicity of the place, and the minimalist treatment of this wild spot. Felt lucky to be there when it snowed. Advisable to make a simple map or take screenshots to refer to, to help find it if arriving after dark. This is a very special area in increasingly rare native sageland habitat. Tread lightly and enjoy.

The house was so beautiful, and spacious. The views were wonderful. The place was so peaceful, but still very close to Leavenworth where we wanted to visit. Also not too far from Wenatchee Lake, that was so pretty. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you'd need. We would definitely recommend this place to stay. We had a great time there.

We enjoyed our brief stay at this unique and beautiful spot. Especially appreciated the helpful folks running the place, who responded very quickly with a late check-in plan (including photos and a map!) when we realized we would be arriving after office hours. The cabin space was very cute and cozy, with a pretty wood carving in one area of the log walls, and large bed was extremely comfortable. It was off-season for enjoying the lake, but very peaceful - we liked seeing all the birds there in the morning and getting to bathe in heated Soap Lake water indoors in the tub was a cool experience! Just a short walk through the property to visit the lake. Very short walk the other direction to downtown, which is pleasantly quiet in the winter but we enjoyed the food from Cloudview Kitchen and notice other coffee stands, restaurants, and bars were open as well.

We loved this home. Very spacious, private and quiet. All the amenities were clean and in excellent condition. I would stay here again, highly recommend!

Loved staying here! A true, peaceful, easy, relaxing location and the views from every window were gorgeous! I am planning on coming back and visiting more, especially since it’s so close to Seattle The owners were very quick to respond and instructions easy to follow. They had a lot of kitchen gadgets I wasn’t expecting like waffle maker, rice maker, hot pot, ect so that was a nice surprise. All in all, a great experience and truly a peaceful place

Beautiful and private location right on the river. The house was well equipped for our group of 6 adults. Close to restaurants and wineries in Chelan. Unfortunately, the hot tub stopped working due to the extreme cold temperatures (20s). The host was immediately helpful with instructions for trying to fix this. Even sending the neighbor to help. Unfortunately the issue could not be resolved but the host offered us a partial refund to make up for it. Just keep in mind if booking during the cold winter months.

Spent a great weekend in Ellensburg and loved the coziness of the place. Even in late October we were very comfortable. Mary was very helpful and gave us some great recommendations on some beautiful hiking in the area.

We came to swim! Perfectly situated between Chelan and Wenatchee for easy access to both. Lake Chelan, the Columbia River, Lake Entiat and Entiat River are all a short drive away. We swam in them all over our two night stay. Hiking trails are close by as well. The views from Joanne's place are incredible in every direction. It's quiet, peaceful, and very very clean. You can tell the space is well loved and well cared for. I would 100% stay there again.

Place was awesome and it was so peaceful for family gatherings. We all had great time there walking around and playing. I would recommend this place to anyone for a peaceful weekend.

My son and I have a tradition where we do a little getaway during Spring Break- just the two of us + our dog, Frankie. This cabin fit the bill for the two of us perfectly. The cabin itself was so cute and cozy and the surroundings were just beautiful. It was a pretty and easy drive into Leavenworth and there was lots of hiking nearby. We even just enjoyed walking the roads around the cabin- we even saw a huge flock of wild turkeys! The hot tub was fun and I loved the setup and scenery surrounding it. The beds were VERY cozy and huge. Things to note- if you plan on cooking, keep in mind it's a small (but functional!) kitchen and there is no dishwasher. The stairs to the loft bedroom are very narrow- might need to keep in mind for young children. We loved this place and would love to come back!
