Really lovely place to spend some time with the family - ground floor access was perfect for the less mobile members of our party and the underfloor heating was great! So quiet and away from it all and great for the dogs as well - plenty of enclosed space for them to run about and not far from some lovely country walks. A few minor niggles with the property but nothing to detract from the scale of the place. We were a party of 7 and it could easily sleep 10.

What a view! The cabin is in a nice isolated place off a farmstead and has the most incredible view of Findhorn beach and the sea. The hot tub was lovely, the place was in great condition, and it was a perfect location for exploring nearby distilleries and the Moray coast. Would definitely come back again!

Thank you to Vivienne for allowing us to stay in her beautiful house. It was exactly what we needed after 2 very busy days. The hot tub went down an absolute treat. The scenery surrounding the place was incredibly beautiful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to relax and unwind.

Thank you for your lovely space! The selling point really was the view and garden which was so much more tranquil in person. We were lucky that the house was empty so we had the space to ourselves. We enjoyed using the BBQ to make our Christmas dinner and although there was a limited kitchen space, it really was functional enough for the week we stayed. Highly recommend the Hot Tub purchase and a read of her book!!

The cabin is lovely and we especially enjoyed the log burning fire and seating area with comfy swing chair and hammock. Steve was very friendly and helpful. Perfect place to go to relax and Forres is beautiful too.

The wee love nest was so cosy and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is like nothing I've seen before! Just such a beautiful place to be and nice little walks in the surrounding area. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and easy to chat to! 100% will be back in the future!

We had a magical stay at the cottage! The pictures don’t do justice to it and we highly recommend getting better pictures. We got very lucky with the weather, saw sun, rainbow and snowfall! The place is also aptly located for northern lights sightings. We got amazing sightings from the cottage on two nights. The Aga kitchen is 5 stars in itself! We loved bringing in new years at the cottage with our little baby. The cot and high chair were both super helpful. Thank you Jennifer for being so responsive and helping our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage in the heart of Cullen! From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by its quirky vintage decor, which gives the property so much character and warmth. The cottage was spotlessly clean, well-appointed, and every detail seemed thoughtfully considered, from the unique furnishings to the lovely touches of coastal inspired decor throughout. The location is perfect, just a few minutes’ walk from local shops, cafes, and the stunning coastline, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. We truly felt at home here and would highly recommend this delightful cottage to anyone looking for a cozy, stylish retreat with fantastic amenities and a prime location. A perfect stay!

Our family of four had a lovely, relaxing stay in this peaceful rural cabin. Friends rented the cabin next door. This was an ideal set up for us. Our children (10 and 12) liked their room, and found the beds really comfortable. We all slept really well, it's so quiet. The balcony was perfect for enjoying a morning coffee while bird watching. The cabin is 30 minutes from Balmoral which is lovely to visit. The grounds and landscape are beautiful. There are lots of Nature Reserves and waks near by. We visited Muir of Dinnet National Nature Reserve 20 minutes away. There is a little visitor centre, toilets and several walks. We did the 6-7k loch loop and saw nesting Lapwing, Red Deer and a Red Kite. The loch and woodlands are lovely. A great area to visit, and a lovely peaceful place to stay.

My booking was at short notice. I was visiting Lossiemouth for a family event. The cottage was just a short drive from where I was visiting family. I know the area, so Gable Cottage was easy to find. The location was terrific, I would have my morning coffee watching two robins and a group of pheasants while serenaded by blackbirds. Everything was there, everything I needed, including much more. I had a wonderful stay, even though it was short.

We have stayed in this property before - it is very well maintained - easy to get to and parking. The location looking out to the sea one side and the marina the other is idillic. Kevin is a great host - highly recommend if you are that end of the country. Highly recommended

Lovely, cosy cottage which was as described and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and we slept very well. We would definitely stay again. Sheila messaged to check everything was ok and was great to communicate with.

The Mill is an absolutely gorgeous home! It's very well taken care of, clean, and it's beautifully decorated. We felt right at home. Megan and Sean left good instructions for us, and were readily available to greet us and answer any questions we had. They had everything we could want, from ample kitchen supplies to extra cozy blankets. Coming from a few days in Edinburgh, it was a peaceful, idyllic stay. We enjoyed walking down the farm lanes to see all the baby lambs in the fields. We would 100% stay here again if we had the opportunity. Thank you so much, Megan and Sean, for opening your lovely home to us and being such excellent hosts!

We really enjoyed our stay -location perfect - well equipped -spotlessly clean - would certainly recommend as brilliant position for walking and exploring Forres - a delightful town! Thank you Kate - we hope to return.

Cute and cozy home that was perfect for my family of three (would well suit a family of four as well). Excellent location, will definitely stay again next time we are in town visiting family.

Great cottage to stay in. We loved being able to visit the spey side distilleries. Rachel had the travel cot for our toddler set up when we reached the listing. Nice neighbors and even saw a pheasant!

We loved the Garden House! We had rental car problems while we were there so we did not get to explore the area nearly as much as we had hoped, but if we had to be stuck somewhere, waiting for the rental company to supply us with a new car, we could not have landed in more peaceful and beautiful place. The Garden House was absolutely delightful, the bed comfy, kitchen well stocked and easy to use and the surrounding gardens just outside the three walls of windows were a complete delight. Add to this the friendliness and helpfulness of our hosts and the experience couldn't have been better. We would happily stay here again. Just maybe with a different car next time. ;-)

The location, overlooking the entrance to the two harbours, is so peaceful and relaxing that it might take you all your time to pull yourself away from the very comfortable armchair in front of the full height window to explore the rest of the area. There's something about watching the tide slowly disappear and then return, and everything that entails. The house was very comfortable, well equpiied and within easy walking distance of everything that you would want for a stay in this delightful seaside town. Plenty parking space, very quiet and peaceful. All you could wish for.
