Our stay at Fare Tekea was perfect. We decided to stay at an Airbnb for 3 nights to explore Moorea before staying at the Hilton Moorea and could not be happier with our stay. The house is centrally located on the island and very close to a grocery store which made driving to excursions and picking up supplies very easy. The pool had incredible views of the surrounding mountains and the house was immaculately clean. Hiva and her husband were fantastic hosts - responsive and helpful, providing great local recommendations. Great stay, great house, great hosts.

Gilles is a very gracious host, and his place sits on a piece of Heaven! We loved getting to hop in the kayaks and paddle out to the clear aquamarine water and see the (nonaggressive) reef sharks and rays. Amazing! We kayaked all day. The porch is wonderful right on the water. Accommodations are as described - don’t forget your soap and shampoo. Nice touch is the ceiling fan, which helped cool us off at night. Lovely communing with gorgeous nature. My husband and I recommend highly!

Nous avons eu la chance de séjourner à cette magnifique maison de janvier à avril, et nous sommes ravis de notre expérience. La maison est propre, accueillante, bien pensée, et idéale car elle est proche de tout. Mais ce qui a vraiment fait la différence, c'est l'accueil exceptionnel de Vaimiti et Michel. Leur attention aux détails et leurs soins ont rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Nous sommes revenus cette année et prévoyons de revenir à nouveau. Un grand merci à Vaimiti et Michel pour leur hospitalité, ils savent vraiment comment rendre un séjour inoubliable !

What a unique home! Polynesian and modern art, fruit on the trees, and silly dogs. Our family of 2 adults/2 kids had a great time here. We especially loved the pool and outdoor area. The home is designed to be somewhat open air (ventilation at the top of some walls) to keep it cooler. We kept the bedrooms closed and never had a problem with bugs. It was very warm most days (in February, 80s F) so we did use the AC in the bedrooms. The dogs are very friendly (we love dogs) and were entertaining security guards. (Note to keep things out of reach from them because they did decide a couple of our things were good chew toys). Also - Alex's lagoon tour is an absolute must! Worth every penny and it was magical. (We've snorkeled the Great Barrier reef and Belize and it blew those out of the water...no pun intended)

We had a fantastic time at Irene's place. The house is lovely. The view of the bay is fantastic. Kitchen is fully equipped, the place is super clean and well maintained. The host is very helpful, she gave us great recommendations. Highly recommended!!!

Le séjour chez Anne était super ; un vrai petit cocon pour se remettre du voyage depuis la metropole ! Le logement est bien équipé et aménagé, dans un quartier résidentiel calme et bien situé. Notre hôte a été extrêmement accueillante et pleine de bons conseils, toujours prête à arranger. Si nous avions pu, nous serions revenus loger chez Anne durant notre séjour à Tahiti !

David et sa femme nous ont parfaitement bien accueilli. la communication avec l'hôte était très bonne et notre arrivée a été soigneusement préparée! Le lodge est situé au pied du mont rotui et la vue y est magnifique cependant il est éloigné de tout donc un véhicule est indispensable. Nous avons opté pour cette solution en louant la voiture à David! Concernant le logement, il est très bien équipé. Nous avons séjourné à 3 adultes et 1 enfant pendant 9 jours. Les couchages étaient bien adaptés mais il n'y a aucune cloison... Pour résumer, logement propre et au coeur de la nature avec des hotes très accueillant. Idéal pour un couple !

Très bon séjour passé dans ce super logement qui offre une vue magnifique sur l'île de Moorea ! Les Hôtes sont très réactifs et sympathiques! Facile d'accès et proche du centre ville de Tahiti. Merci encore !

Our family of five stayed at this beautiful property over Spring Break, and it was an unforgettable experience! Moorea is breathtaking, and the home’s location offered easy access to amazing hiking, plus a dock and beach that made snorkeling, paddleboarding, and kayaking effortless. The marine life was incredible—sea turtles, lemon and blacktip sharks, rays, eels, and countless tropical fish. One unforgettable day, a large pod of dolphins played just beyond the dock. The dock itself was a fantastic perk, making snorkeling and swimming even easier. The home has stunning views of the bay and mountains, with plenty of space and great sunset vantage points. The outdoor shower and bathroom were perfect after time in the water. This property and location are truly amazing. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place—we are so grateful for the experience!

Our stay here in Moorea could not have been better! The beauty of the location was beyond our expectations. We loved waking up and walking out our back door and out ino the warm water seeing rays and black tipped sharks. The kayaks were a fun workouts. The bed was so comfortable and the A/C worked well and kept us cool. We already miss our Moorea home away from home. Joy was helpful, from the first question after I booked until the day we left. Please note that the A/C is only in the bedrooms and the only TV is upstairs in a room without A/C. I didn't realize at the time of booking but now I'm glad because we loved our stay. I whole heartedly recommend staying here.

We lost power in a HUGE thunderstorm and Chris was very responsive to get back to us as to how to restore power and lights with the fuse box. Unfortunately the "funicular" was out of service for about 24 hours and we walked 10 flights of stairs twice, however this was out of Chris's control. We liked the view very much.

Impeccable pour un grand weekend avec famille et amis. Le logement de Maroura est spacieux, très bien équipé, calme. A proximité immédiate de la plage des Tipaniers et de restaurants et commerces. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir si nous revenons à Moorea!

Excellente propriété au calme avec une vue imprenable! Très agréable. Propre même impeccable ! Très soigné et de bon goût. On s’y sent vraiment très bien!!!. Sophie est soucieuse du bien être de ses hôtes. Nous recommandons ce petit bout de paradis à 100%!!!! Bravo Sophie!!!!

Wow, just wow! If you are coming to Mo’orea, you must book this Airbnb! The view is absolutely AMAZING! Pictures do not do it justice. We sat on the outdoor balcony for every meal. The Airbnb is perfect and included everything needed for our stay! We did go to the supermarket and cooked dinner at the Airbnb a few nights to save some money, and they have everything needed to cook! Sophie’s description on how to get up to the bungalow was so easy with perfect images to show the way. The location is perfect, with supermarkets and shops and restaurants very close! Also the Allo Pizza restaurant is right below and we ate there twice, their pizza is spectacular! Could not have asked for a better place to stay!

We are so glad to choose this house as our 3 nights stay. Such a great sweet home with Wonderfun garden and kitchen. Owner Friendly, Room Clean and quiet, perfect for family and friend. Hope we can live here again.

Un séjour inoubliable malgré la pluie. Tiare nous a accueilli avec un grand sourire. Le logement était magnifique, tout pour s’y plaire. Attention juste aux chiens errants qui se baladent sur la plage( attention si enfants). Le bateau est à proximité donc accessible rapidement. On reviendra !

Karine and JoJo's place is a peaceful oasis, and they are lovely hosts. While you need to drive to most activities and restaurants, it's lovely to return to a quiet neighborhood and a private little beach area. We made use of the kayaks almost every day, which was a huge highlight (as was the washer - it's amazing how dirty you can get hiking in a a tropical rain storm!) Sunrise on the water is amazing! Saw plenty of fish and rays throughout the day. The pension has several houses, some of which are smaller and located closer to the water. This one is about a two minute walk to the beach. We loved the space of the two bedrooms (and the a/c was a must at night!) in this particular fare, but if you're dreaming of waking up to have coffee and stare at the ocean, one of the one bedrooms is probably a better fit. All in all a lovely stay. We're already missing it!

Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Le logement est fonctionnel, rien ne manque. Il est situé sur les hauteurs, surplombant toutes les belles plages de sables noires de la côte est, de Mahina à Papenoo. Nous reviendrons assurément. Super accueil.

Logement situé proche de l’aéroport, here a été au top pour nous accueillir et repondre a nos besoins, on reviendra dans ce logement si on retourne a Tahiti !

L’accueil a été simple et chaleureux. La maison est encore mieux que sur les photos, nous avons été impressionnés par les espaces et la terrasse magnifique. L’accès privé a la petit plage est un atout de charme, les chambres sont spacieuses et lumineuses, les salles de bains privatives de ses dernières également. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour entre amis, nous recommandons vivement ce logement. Merci beaucoup.

Une très belle rencontré. Marie-Lou et Gilles se sont montrés très accueillants, aux petits soins et de bons conseils pour faciliter notre séjour à Moorea. Ils nous ont également partagés des anecdotes très intéressantes sur la Polynésie. Le logement était très propre et bien équipé avec une très belle vue sur le lagon. Des commerces sont à proximité, je recommande tout de même d'avoir un moyen de locomotion pour profiter au maximum de la beauté qu'offre Mooréa. Les petites attentions de Marie-Lou on été appréciées. Māuruuru maitai !

This place has amazing energy from the second you step onto the property with all the essentials and more. Super close to the beach in a lovely secluded community, safe and secure with friendly neighbors and gracious hosts. Huge bonus that the shared living spaces have air conditioning— hard to find in French Polynesia! Can’t wait to return.
