We had such a wonderful weekend getaway at this property. Met all of our needs and expectations. Linda was very accommodating and accessible 100% of the time. Great location, we were able to visit the zoo and charlotte motor speedway. The community was awesome, we enjoyed the beach and the restaurant. Looking forward to our next stay!

Beautiful lake views from inside & love the gazebo with swing to sit & enjoy the view outside as well. Very neat & cozy. Comfortable furniture & beds. Enjoyed the games to play with family visiting. Very easy to communicate with the host. Will definitely stay here again.

We had such a relaxing weekend at Todd's place! Todd gave us clear directions and recommended our dinner spot. The house had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed eating breakfast on the porch overlooking the lake. It was a welcoming space and we enjoyed exploring the surrounding areas. Beautiful hiking trails!

Definitely a great place to bring the kids or plan a getaway weekend. I would highly recommend this place.

Went to celebrate mine and my old high school friends 65 birthdays. We stayed a week. It was heaven. It was the most relaxing week, We have had in a long time. Right on the lake, stayed in the water and the sun, the whole time. Just what we came for, relaxation and laughing and bringing up old memories! I will be staying here again. We felt welcomed from the minute we walked in. Beautiful home with the most thoughtful welcome basket filled with ingredients for Smores, wine, and snacks. My sons especially enjoyed it. The house is on a beautiful lot with a breathtaking view. I enjoyed the beautiful sunrises each morning with my coffee and the fire. My family hopes to return this summer for another visit. This lake home was so warm and cozy! We loved our stay and our family had so much fun! The grandkids loved the swim float and the kayaks! The dining room table was big enough for a nice family dinner! The view was breathe taking! The only thing that might be a suggestion was more room to put food! There were no upper cabinets or a pantry for all the groceries, but we made due and it was perfect!

The property was everything we expected. Very easy to find, clean and communication was very fast from the host. Would recommend if you are looking for a nice, big property that is located right on the water and has everything you need!

We loved our stay! The home is comfortable with great space to relax with my family and dogs. It was great to have a grill, a kitchen with everything needed to do a little cooking, and outdoor space that was good rain or shine (the screened in porch is awesome!), and the deck with very comfortable furniture. Check in is easy, and the house has everything you'll need for relaxing visit. They have floats and life jackets too if you want to head down to the dock, and so many different places where you can gather too hang out. We had a great time getting into the lake, and it was fun to have the dock. I brought my kayak and paddleboard and it was easy to take them down to the water too. We definitely recommend booking and look forward to returning!

A Stone’s Throw is absolutely beautiful! Everything was thoughtfully designed and in excellent condition. Attention to detail was so helpful - things such as labeling the light switches. The view & lake is gorgeous! The basement has a bedroom with 4 beds that worked perfectly for our girls. Who has 3 King size beds? This house! 3.5 bathrooms was also amazing. The owner, Joy, was very quick to respond to any questions. If you’re looking for a lake house in central NC, look no further!
