Sergio has a fantastic place that is perfect for our extended family. The house is quirky and a challenge to navigate—there are a lot of steps everywhere. However, every room is a gem, and everything works. Sergio was an ideal host - such a difference from company-places with remote staff that don't care a damn. We all had an amazing time. We hope to be back soon!

Guillermo and his wife were amazing. They were very attentive and made sure everything was taken care of. The house was just as described. The trampoline was a huge hit as my son loved it. The house is located near many restaurants. My only recommendation would be to provide guest with all room keys as our son locked our room door 2 times and we had to call Guillermo to come unlock the doors. It was a little unsettling knowing someone else had access to the rooms but we didn’t.

Marta’s place was beautiful and comfortable! Very close to all activities . Carlos the neighbour brought us out for a tour in the cloud forest and was very knowledgeable and accommodating! Would definitely recommend this place !

fantastic house, a few minutes from the town while also peaceful and private. lots of space, we heard the monkeys in the evening and loved watching humming birds in the garden. highly recommend!

We loved our time here! With that said, be prepared for all the critters and sounds. Yes, there will be bugs, but we didn't mind. Yes, there will be wind at night, but you get used to it. And yes, there will lots of animal sounds! Birds in the morning, animals on the roof at night, embrace the fun in it and sleep when you get home! The home had everything you will need; we cooked every day. The beds were comfy, the showers hot, it was a great stay.

Amazing old wooden building in a quiet neighbourhood. The interior is amazing with a vaulted ceiling and three good bedrooms. The back veranda gives a great outdoor area to enjoy the perfectly manicured tropical gardens.... Can't go wrong with this place!

The house is 15 minutes by car from Santa Elena, the busy town in Monteverde. Santa Elena has shopping, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, souvenirs and lots of tourists. This house is away from the hustle and bustle with the most spectacular view of the gulf of Nicoya on the doorstep. It has multiple rocking chairs where you can admire the view. Birds, including toucans and Motmots and of course , the white-throated magpie Jay are abundant in the beautiful garden. So many butterflies, even the blue morpho! The neighborhood is quiet and some neighbors even brought me squash from the garden! I am looking forward to going back for 2 months more!

We were two families with teenage kids and really enjoyed the sleeping arrangements and that each adult couple and sets of kids had their own bungalow. The area was peaceful and just outside of town but quick and easy drive/ride into town (no problem Ubering to town). It’s a very authentic accommodations but still had AC and full kitchen. The owner was very helpful and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great hosts and a great house right in La Fortuna. The house was as described and so close to everything in town. The hosts went above and beyond, helpful both with all of our questions about the house, and also helpful in explaining and assisting with and booking activities in the Arenal area.

Beautiful place in a secure gated community!

Our group of 8 adults and 2 teenagers stayed at Allan & Jorge’s villa, and it exceeded all our expectations. The villa offered the perfect balance of privacy and a shared space, ideal for our group. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and communication with our hosts was seamless. We especially appreciated the thoughtful welcome gift of fruit and drinks. Thank you, Allan & Jorge!

We really enjoyed our three-night stay at Villa Roger Arenal in April 2025. When we arrived, we were greeted by don Rogelio, who gave us the keys and walked us through the house. He provided fresh fruit and cake from a local bakery, all of which was delicious. The property and the views are even more stunning in person than the pictures. We enjoyed lounging in and by the pool with its amazing view of Arenal. The covered patio has plenty of comfortable chairs where you can relax or read in the shade. We really enjoyed watching the birds feed on the fruits left for them. The location was very convenient to downtown La Fortuna and served as a great home base for our adventures (zip lining, rappelling, hot springs, etc.). Lester gave us recommendations for local restaurants for dinner and the meals were excellent. Villa Roger Arenal is one of the nicest AirBNBs we have ever stayed at. Highly recommend it as a home base for the La Fortuna area. It was perfect for our family of 5.

We had a great family vacation at this beautiful property. The setup is ideal as the great room is large enough for everyone to spend lots of quality time together. There's a pool table, large TV and lots of seating. The location worked well for us and was about 15 to 20 minutes from most of the activities we decided upon (which William and Laura helped arrange). I would highly recommend William and Laura's place for a get together with a large group.

This villa was extremely luxurious. It is even nicer than the pictures. It was spotless on checkin. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was modern and very well stocked, the A/C worked well, and the pool area was amazing. Fully private large pool with lounge chairs, a couch, BBQ and even a hot tub. The location is in a gated secure complex 5 minutes from La Fortuna. Patrick was prompt and easy to communicate with. Our family of 5 had a great stay!

This beautiful location was our first place we stayed in Costa Rico and we we so very impressed. The location is perfect as it is close to all the local excursions but still feels very private, set in the forest with the beautiful river running behind. We had every amenity that we needed and more. High marks also for the quality of the pillows! This made our sleep so restful. Would definitely come back. Perfect for a family with kids so everyone gets their own beds. Highly recommend

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house was in a great location (very central), yet incredibly private. The yard was absolutely gorgeous and the pool perfect for our family of 4. The house was clean, there were plenty of towels and the kitchen was well equipped. Rebeca was very responsive and a pleasure to communicate with. We would return in a heartbeat!

Die Wohnung hat alles, was man für einen Kurzaufenthalt benötigt. Heydi ist eine tolle Gastgeberin (sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit). Die Lage kam uns sehr gelegen, da nicht in La Fortuna und schon Richtung Vulkan. Dennoch sind in direkter Nachbarschaft Buchungsoptionen verfügbar und ein kleiner Laden für das Nötigste. Bedenke, dass nur eine Kochplatte verfügbar ist, weswegen sich die Zubereitung komplexer Mahlzeiten nicht anbietet. Das Schlafsofa hat an einer Klappstelle einen harten Bereich und könnte daher für Erwachsene etwas unbequem sein. Wir hatten damit aber kein Problem. Besonderer Pluspunkt ist die kostenlose Nutzung der gegenüber liegenden Therme mit Mineralbädern. Würden dort definitiv nochmal buchen

Casa Colette was a great place to stay! It is a beautiful home and the hosts provided us with everything we needed to be comfortable. It was walkable to most places during the daytime and we would usually drive to dinner at night.

Excelente la atención pre y post de la estadía. Cuenta con una excelente ubicación para conocer muchos lugares en la Zona de La Fortuna. A tan solo 15 min de muchas zonas turísticas. Muy agradecidos con Don Randall, súper recomendado.

A true haven of peace! With a breathtaking lake view, a beautifully decorated casita, a relaxing jacuzzi under the stars, and horses and cows as peaceful neighbours, it’s the perfect escape!! Waking up to nothing but the gentle sound of birds made the experience even more magical. An unforgettable stay where nature, comfort, and serenity meet. We’ll definitely be back soon! Visited with family including Young kids. We got delayed a few times on the road and Joshua was very accommodating and understanding. He met us at the house to go through all amenities, questions and to give us a sense of what is around us. The place is well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside and watching the birds (including daily macaw fly by), the pool and the hamacs. We were fortunate to see the volcano as well from the patio are as we had a few clear days. La Fortuna is minutes away by car and enjoyed the local Panaderia (bakery) and got some basics at the Sonafluca supermarket which is 3 minutes away by car.

Juan & the staff were very responsive to all of our questions and helped us with whatever we needed.
