Treehouse Retreat With a View of National Forest

Absolutely beautiful land surrounding a well built and well appointed. Kitchen is fully functional (dishwasher is one of the portable ones, we didn't bother with it as cooking for two makes for few dishes.) I cooked every meal except one in the kitchen, and made some really great food! This is always a big feature for me as a professional chef. :) The view was incredibly despite the fact that it rained the entire time we were there! We didn't get to meet the famous dog but hopefully on our next visit (which will definitely be a thing) we won't have so much rain. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this listing, except that when I did my morning jog the driveway back up was more steep than it looked in a car! lol

Cozy Lakeside Cabin at Lake Lemon

Libby's house was great for a weekend getaway. She helped us work through a couple of snags and was very responsive in helping. The Porthole Inn was a great place for live music and food! short drive in to Bloomington. The Butler winery was down the road and an amazing recommendation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Hudson Hideaway. Views were amazing and neighborhood was quiet and serene. Shirley was super responsive and helpful and her home was spotless. She really made us feel welcome and even left us a snack basket and several beverages which was a very welcome gift after our long drive. She certainly knows how to make a house a home. We look forward to returning to this community in the future.

The Lake Cottage

Cheryl’s Lake Lemon Cottage was a great get-a-way. The cottage was beautiful with plenty of lounging areas and it was decorated so nice. The fresh flowers and rosemary were a sweet touch! There is also a nice view of the lake from the cottage. We had a boat so the dock was very accommodating and Cheryl was very helpful in making sure our trailer was parked safely. The fishing wasn’t good because of murky water and high winds but it was still nice to get out and enjoy the lake on the boat… the beautiful cottage more than made up for the lack of fish :) Thank you! Charming Lake Monroe 2/2 Condo Golf IU Bloomington

We just returned from wonderful stay at Cameron's Lake Monroe condo. It was a beautiful, golf course location. A family of very tame deer visited us twice a day most days. Cameron's instructions and suggestions were perfect. He checked with us frequently to see if we needed anything. The condo was beautiful and was well-stocked with everything we needed, complete with a delicious "welcome" bottle of Oliver Winery wine. We loved taking long walks around the Eagle Pointe community, eating at fabulous restaurants and enjoying all Bloomington and IU have to offer. Thank you for hosting us, Cameron. We had a great time. Eagle View Vacation Condo

I loved our stay here. There was some slight confusion upon arrival, but after we got there everything was smooth sailing. The place was so perfect for our family-- I didn't want to leave! It is extremely peaceful and the view is incredible... especially when the trees are bare. :) We were able to play games, relax, and enjoy the park nearby. The Sahm's restaurant within the resort was great, too. I hope we are able to visit again soon and spend more time!

This place was nice and super clean. It felt like a home .I recently had the pleasure of staying and I am thoroughly impressed. The property is well-maintained, offering modern amenities, a clean and comfortable living space, and excellent security measures. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone seeking a quality .

Had a very nice stay here for a getaway weekend. Brought our dog (first time traveling with him) and the space was great for us. Peaceful setting but just a quick drive to the main downtown and campus areas of Bloomington. The chickens were cool! Jennifer, the hostess and Gary, the maintenance man were both super friendly and helpful. They are both there in different areas of the building but were not intrusive at all. The house is eclectically furnished but very comfortable. The screened back porch was nice for sitting and relaxing, although the weather was too chilly to be out there a whole lot. It is an old building, a former schoolhouse, so expect some old house personality. Quiet and cozy, and dog friendly. Just what we were looking for. Thanks Jennifer and Gary!

“Glamper” on Private Lot by Lake Monroe

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Chateau EZ RV. It exceeded our expectations not only in the beauty of the location but also the additional immensities as in outdoor games, and luxuries for our dogs. This was our very first time staying in an RV and we were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and cozy it was. There is a beach within walking distance that is great for launching canoes and paddle boards Suzzane was very helpful and proactive with our needs. We highly recommend staying at the Chateau and we will be back!

Our stay at Monica's place far exceeded our expectations. We booked over Thanksgiving so, we planned to cook our holiday diner at the Airbnb. We reached out to Monica before we arrived to verify the kitchen would be stocked sufficiently to cook this type of meal. When we arrived, we found the home just as shown in the pictures. it was very clean, inviting , comfortable and the kitchen had more than enough cookware for us to cook our Thanksgiving meal. I also want to add that the quality of the cookware was amazing. Monica did not just throw together some cheap pots and pans for the guests to use. Everything was high quality and performed very well when cooking. The beds were comfortable and I am not sure if they have an instant water heater here but, we (4 adults) never ran out of hot water. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definately stay again in the future.

This cabin is sooo cute and was perfect for our girls weekend! Squeaky clean and easy check-in and out process. On a quiet little road with no neighbors which felt so quaint! Only “complaints” were the hot tub was smaller than what it looks like in the listing picture and the loft was extremely warm all day and night.

Wonderful out-of-the-way country location. Beautiful, scenic property with well equipped accommodations in aged farmhouse. The house had plenty of space for 11 of us to spread out yet also be together in common areas. There is some minor maintenance to be done in the house, but nothing that hampers enjoyment of the overall property and lodging experience. We hope to plan another stay with Tonya during warmer seasons to experience this fun farm in all its splendor. Thanks, Tonya!

Loved the house and the area. Can't wait until i have a summer event to attend in Indy so I can stay again and actually do some fishing and use the lake. The hot tub is just the cherry on top. I will definitely stay again.

We rented Deer Creek Farmhouse & The Pond House for my son's wedding in Green Castle mid Nov. This property is so gorgeous and peaceful. Just what we were looking for. We were blessed with sunshine & some warmer weather for our stay which made it more enjoyable in November. After the wedding rehearsal & dinner in town Friday evening, our immediate family that was staying with us, enjoyed a nice fire at the fire pit. Smores of course & lots of laughs. Saturday, was the wedding, so we were gone most of the time. But it was so nice to get dressed and ready there, instead of a hotel room. Sunday, a few were able to enjoy some fishing at the pond and the zip line. What a fun time had by everyone! This was my first experience with an Airbnb. Michelle was so wonderful from the beginning of planning this trip. I highly suggest their wonderful place!

What a fantastic place to stay! The home was clean and well-decorated, with everything we needed provided. I genuinely believe Marisa thought of every amenity. This was our first trip with our dog, and all her needs were taken care of as well. My two teenagers really enjoyed all the games available, which made our indoor rainy days much more enjoyable. We were not disappointed and will definitely stay here again!
