This is a magical home in a quiet location with beautiful surroundings. The host is very kind and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again.

Patric and Zeidy were very responsive in returning e-mails and keeping us informed with all dates and times for our trip. We had the great pleasure of meeting the owners of this beautiful place/Charlie and Paula. How special it was to be picked up from the airport by Charlie. He welcomed us with open arms, took us to a grocery store to get supplies for our first day and oh my god made us a fantastic breakfast. It was truly a great experience meeting so many nice people and not to forget Rob who would always help you out at any time of the day. We had 27 days of heaven in a very special place. We absolutely loved our stay! From the moment we arrived, the sweeping panoramic views stole our breath. Our hosts went above and beyond, greeting us with baskets of freshly picked fruits each morning that fueled our adventures around the farm.

We truly enjoyed our time here exploring the local area. The kitchen was well equipped-and with the pool being steps from your patio door- there was no need to leave the gated community some days! We found we did not need a golf cart for our week long stay- the beach was only about a ten minute walk along the main streets with lots of shops and restaurants. Highly recommend the catamaran tour with marlin’s tours (I think is the name)- we had a great day on the water!! Overall we loved our stay at Mary’s place the weather was great and the accommodation were very relaxing with the pools in the gated community being quiet and not over crowded We really appreciate the hosts accommodating an early check in- we were super grateful for this after a long overnight flight!

I can't say enough about how good the house was. Elidier was a better host than words could say, he helped to arrange some extras for my wife's birthday that really made the stay above and beyond. The house was clean, beautiful, private and safe. If you need a house in the La Fortuna area look no further, this is the place. You will not find a better host than Elidier.

Preston’s Airbnb was amazing. The pictures in the listing don’t do it justice, our group of 6 made it a point to make sure we were in the pool with a cocktail at sunset every night. Preston was very responsive, we decided to check in a day early because there was availability and he responded immediately so that we could enjoy the house for an extra day. It is located in a gated community with a 24/7 security guard. The surrounding restaurants and beaches are great (we loved Roberto’s for breakfast). Playa Panama is about a 10 minute drive, Playa Hermosa a 15 minute drive and Coco Beach about a 25/30 minute drive.

Great place for a family stay. Huge living room and kitchen with a really nice patio next to the pool. The place was super clean and very comfortable. The body surfing boards and beach towels were a nice bonus. The washer/dryer came in handy as well. Sunsets were amazing on the beach. Local restaurants on the beach were pretty good. Ginger (a tapas place) across the street was the best food we had in CR and had some unique dishes. Chillin' on the beach near the villa was awesome and made the stay really enjoyable.

AMAZING. Such a beautiful and peaceful place, the view is WAY better in real, the room are big and clean with hot water, really a piece of paradise!!! The only thing to know, there is a breakfast for a great price available. Otherwise you need to think to buy some food to eat. It is not far away from the little town where you have a few restaurants (maybe 1-2?), a little convenient store and a place to get meat but it is a bumpy road to come back to get it, so think ahead and buy it before you get there!

Wow what an amazing view! Also an amazing garden full of hummingbirds and other lovely birds. Friendly horse that came to visit twice and reached its head over the fence. Neighbor Lilander gave us a picturesque horseback ride with a gorgeous jungle hike to a private waterfall. El Castillo is a remote, steep village. The bakery is terrific and the little market is super helpful. We enjoyed La Ventanita and Fusion for dinners. Anna and the other hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. Thank you!!
