We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

Christian was a great host, he was acommodating and was easily reached. The place is amazing, was as advertised and easy to find. It's located a bit far from the city (15mins away via tolls), but exactly what we want, peaceful from the hustle and bustle of Oslo. The place feels homey, the christmas vibes add to the whole holiday vibes. One small nitpicky detail is that, as mentioned by Christian, this is usually where they stay at, so as mentioned there is a bit of a clutter here and there. Noticed some unclean dishes and airfryer, but otherwise the place is great. Felt like home. Overall it's a 4.7/5 for me and my family, we had an amazing time in Oslo and a contributing factor was Christian's place! ♥️

Lovely location near a train station that offers a quick trip into the city. Wonderful apartment with many bedrooms, ideal for a larger group!

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit im Haus von Therese. Das Haus liegt in schöner Landschaft direkt am Fjord. Es war toll, an den sonnigen Wintertagen die Kite Skater auf dem zugefrorenen Fjord zu beobachten. Therese hat sich sehr freundlich um uns gekümmert und war super hilfsbereit. Man muss beachten, dass es im Haus eine sehr steile Treppe gibt. Für manche Personen könnte das ein Hindernis sein. Bei uns hat alles gut geklappt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Abends haben wir vom nahegelegenen Thai Restaurant leckeres Essen geholt. Die Bus- (Haltestelle direkt am Haus) und Zugverbindungen (von Røyken) nach Oslo sind sehr gut. Ganz besonders möchte ich mich bedanken bei Therese, die immer bemüht war, uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite zu stehen und uns sehr geholfen hat. Ich kann den Aufenthalt in diesem liebevoll gestalteten, kleinen roten Haus sehr empfehlen. Es ist etwas ganz besonderes!

A wonderful House in a wonderful Location. The house was very clean and included everything we needed, like towels, dishes. The furniture is very good and leaves no open wishes. Our expactation were excelled. Thank you, Julia!

Unsere Zeit in dieser einzigartigen Airbnb-Unterkunft war einfach fantastisch! Besonders begeistert waren wir von der Dartscheibe und der malerischen, einsam gelegenen privaten Bucht – ein echter Geheimtipp. Mit drei Kanus und der kompletten Ausstattung konnten wir die Natur in vollen Zügen genießen. Die Lage war herrlich ruhig, perfekt zum Abschalten, und das liebevoll renovierte Haus aus dem 18. Jahrhundert versprühte einen ganz besonderen Charme. Ein Highlight war die herzliche und familiäre Aufnahme durch unseren Gastgeber Ingar, der uns mit seiner Gastfreundschaft und Betreuung rundum verwöhnte. Wir kommen definitiv wieder – eine absolute Empfehlung!

Landlig hus med stort og koselig uteareal. Korte avstander til kollektivtrafikk, stor og fin badestrand, fotballbaner og butikker/Holmen kjøpesenter. Vi storkoste oss i huset til Therese, og kommer veldig gjerne igjen. Therese var svært hyggelig og imøtekommende og svarte raskt på henvendelser.

I highly recommend Mette's place, it very spacious with everything you could want. Mette is generous, kind and always ready to help. The view from the balconies is outstanding. if you are walking, it is 20mins from the train station and 10mins is uphill. Also you are in the middle of a 3 story building, and sometimes you will hear people walking around upstairs. Neither of these worried us, I only mention this in passing. They in no detracted from our experience. 5 stars all round. Thank you Mette.

Dette hjemmet dufter deilig, og er utrolig pen. Fantastisk bruk av trematerialer. Nydelig hage. Al og Ingrid var kjempe fine verter. Min yngste fikk til og med mate hønene i hagen. Det var stor stas. Tusen takk for oppholdet. Anbefales på det sterkeste!

Kanskje den reneste og ryddigste leiligheten vi har lånt. Verten svarte umiddelbart ved spørsmål. Mye tilgjengelig håndklær, kaffekapsler mm. Leiligheten er nyoppusset og moderne, og fremstår som veldig innbydende. Oppvarmet og klar jacuzzi var et høydepunkt! Kommer definitivt tilbake!

Supert opphold med super beliggenhet! Leiligheten hadde alt av det vi trengte. Med svært kort vei til skibakken kunne ungene gå å renne litt alene i tallerkenheisen rett ved, mens vi voksne kledde og gjorde oss klare for dagen. Kort kjøreavstand til matbutikk. Vi trivdes kjempegodt og kommer gjerne tilbake!

Merci infiniment à Natasha pour sa flexibilité et sa générosité pour les horaires d’arrivée et de départ. L’appartement est excellent. Il se trouve dans un quartier calme et proche du bord du fjord d’où partent les excursions. En même temps il est à deux minutes de la ligne 12 du tram qui ramène au centre ville en 5 minutes. Nous y avons passé 5 jours et avions envie d’y rester encore. Je recommande fortement cet appartement.

Perfect spot for exploring Oslo. Is a pedestrian area so you may have a little walk with cases but it’s worth it as very quiet spot with lovely view over the bay. Loads of restaurants around so loads of meal options within a few mins walk. Apartment is clean and well maintained and comfy. We were a family with two young boys and they were safe and loved watching their shows on Netflix on the big tv. Second bedroom is small but fine for young kids.

Excellent appartement très bien situé dans un quartier calme. Idéal pour une famille de 4 personnes. Nous avons pu découvrir Oslo à pied depuis l'appartement. Jonas est très accueillant, de bon conseil et réactif. Nous recommandons cet appartement.

We had such a great stay here. Firstly, the location is excellent for a stay in Oslo. The train station is a couple of minutes walk and two stops to the city centre. It’s a ten minute walk to Frogner Park. Great places to eat and a couple of supermarkets within 5 minutes walk. While very central, the apartment is whisper quiet. Inside, the beds are super comfy and while two are on the small side (as per previous reviews), it’s fine for a few nights. The bathroom is modern and lovely. The kitchen is fully equipped - everything you need for the times you don’t want to eat out. And communication with Ingrid was always prompt and friendly. All in all, a wonderful base from which to explore Oslo.

Simply my favourite Airbnb. Nora’s place is the perfect Norway getaway, lakeside cabin - full of charm, taste, comfort, and warmth. The view is stunning. The nearby hotel has a great gym and spa too. Nora was so, so helpful!The absolute dream! Thanks so much Nora.

Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold på denne hytta! Den lå idyllisk til, var ryddig og koselig innredet, og ga oss akkurat den pausen fra byen vi trengte i påsken. Inngang via nøkkelboks var superenkelt, og Hanne svarte alltid raskt og vennlig på spørsmål. Anbefaler hytta på det varmeste! :-)

I have to admit: the road up to Kristin’s hut can be quite adventurous – if it’s rainy and you’re not driving an off-road car – but it’s definitely worth it! Both the view (if you’re lucky) and the house are an absolute dream! We had the whole place to ourselves and loved the peace and quiet up on the hill in this lovely, remote area. The house is extremely cozy – especially with its fireplace and the cave-like bedroom with a view. It’s fairly small, yet the space is used well, so it doesn’t feel small at all. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the solar-powered electricity (plus gas) is enough for all the essentials. We honestly didn’t miss anything – on the contrary, we loved the simplicity (along with the coziness and functionality) of it all. Exactly the kind of place that makes you reconnect with nature and with yourself. Easily could have stayed longer. Thanks, Kristin, for sharing this precious haven with other people who hopefully all appreciate it as much as we did!
