As always a wonderful stay. Generous and flexible throughout. I will absolutely stay again in the future! Perfect for families with a park right in front and easy walkability to supermarkets, pharmacy, massage, etc.

Our stay at Shoji's family onsen was delightful. Shoji was so communicative and helpful. We picked his place based on proximity to the airport but didn't realize how remote it is and how infrequently the busses run. Shoji cheerfully offered to pick us up from the train station and to take us to the airport early the next morning. He gave us a personalized tour of the facility and made us feel so welcome! The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, and we enjoyed hiking around the surrounding hills. Definitely recommend renting a car or having plenty of time to get in and out before and after staying there, but we are so glad we were able to make it to this location thanks to Shoji. Highly recommended!

The room was nice, clean and bright with big windows. There are many nice restaurants and convenience stores nearby. I rented a bike from the host, so it was very convenient to explore the city :)

とにかくオーナーさんが気さくで優しくて明るい方です！人見知りの子供たちがすぐに懐いていました。 部屋も綺麗、布団はふかふか、どこも清潔です。 トイレが中と外、合わせて3つあるので他の人とかぶることもなく良かったです。 洗濯機と乾燥機もありました！ また、共用部にはフライパン・鍋・やかん・包丁・まな板・フライ返し等があるため、食材を持ってきて作ることができました。家族連れで水筒をたくさん持っていっていたので、お茶っぱを持ち込み、お茶をたいて入れれたのが良かったです！ 家族連れには1部屋貸切をおすすめします。 金ヶ浜もすぐ、小倉が浜もすぐ、都農町方面へのアクセスもしやすかったです！ 外にサーフィンのパイプに入っているかのような壁画とその前に乗れるサーフボードがあり、子どもたちは撮影会を楽しんでました、 素敵な時間をありがとうございました！

Yumi was a lovely host, who gave us a homemade map with recommendations of restaurants, cafés, and more around the area! The house was lovely, well-decorated and with comfortable futons! We wished we had stayed a bit longer so we could have tried a couple more restaurants/bars/cafés, where the locals were all welcoming and kind! It's a great spot in a calm area that was easily accessible and allowed us to rest comfortably before going back on the road.

Yuki&Fumi are very nice and helpful! I had very good rest at their clean and quiet room. I enjoyed very yummy homemade breakfast, especially the home baked toast! It’s brilliant! I love their house and had a very pleasant stay with Yuki&Fumi in Kumamoto. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay with Hiromi and Stan. Extremely welcoming and friendly. Beautiful, authentic japanese homestay. We even had a traditional tea ceremony and learned lots about Japanese culture. On top of the already great experience, a traditional Japanese breakfast was also offered which we enjoyed a lot. Would recommend to anyone visiting Kumamoto.
