The Corn Crib Cottage Barn or Villa is a luxurious and rustic 1100 square foot space. The Corn Crib originally used to dry corn and animal housing. This is a very rare historical building built in the 1920's The villa has a 2 person whirlpool jacuzzi , rain shower, beautiful full kitchen, fireplace and next to the 550 acre Washington County Cottage Grove Ravine regional park reserve. Welcome to The Healing Refuge! Come experience life on a Minnesota farm nestled in the rolling hills of the Driftless region. Relax out on the deck, swing in a hammock among the trees, or enjoy a walk through our beautiful cover crop fields. This is a working farm and depending on the season, you are welcome to help collect eggs, learn from the horses, observe the farm animals, and find out about regenerative agriculture. We want your experience at our farm to be relaxing and refreshing!

The Little Red Barn @Three Acre Woods

This is our little glamping barn! There is electricity and the covered patio has a small fridge, microwave, camp stove, and bbq grill. No running water inside. Living room and one bedroom with a queen bed on the first level. The loft has a full bed and room for a sleeping bag or two for more guests. An out house and outdoor shower. I have added an Arctic Ice cooler for hot nights! But no AC. There is a nice fire pit, playground, and goats to play with! Warning: The cats love to visit!

Suite Cherry No. 1

Enjoy a private, main floor, three room suite with private off street parking and private entrance. No stairs to climb, just a ramp onto the deck entrance. You will have a living room with a couch, recliner, TV and small dining table. The bedroom has a queen size bed and a well stocked kitchenette. The ensuite provides a closet, plenty of shelving, storage cabinet and a full bathroom with apartment size combination washer & dryer. We'd be happy to share our back deck with you as well.

The Maynard Cabin, a Civil War era log cabin

The Maynard Log Cabin was erected by a homesteader after the civil war. We have moved and restored it and made it available for rent. It is off the grid, but it has a complete functioning kitchen, wood stove and sitting room downstairs. There are two antique beds with new mattresses upstairs. There is no electricity but the cabin is furnished with kerosene lanterns. The bathroom facilities consist of wash basins and outhouse. The cabin is surrounded by 40 acres of woods and meadows.

1 of 4 campsites on the farm, this yurt-style tent has all you need to enjoy camping without the work! The campsite includes a picnic table, BBQ grill and fire pit. There is a self composting toilet on site. Camp carts available to bring gear out. Drinking water is available from the hose out by the high tunnel. It is about a quarter mile walk to the site.
