The place was beautiful. Surroundings were breath-taking. Full lush of green and a magistic mountain backdrop with a river flowing in the backyard. It was so peaceful. Julia was very warm and welcoming and helpful. Her 4 fury babies took care of us too and they were kind and gentle. The place is also a historic site, which made it even more special.

This is a great place to be. Beautiful, spacious White room with a comfortable bed and a beautiful desk to work at not to mention a great Samsung screen plus all connectivity ports. Merw is warm and hospitable; just a generous human. The stay was so good I had to extend

Tracy is Amazing, accomodating and the property is large amazing, the amenities are sufficient and the dogs are friendly, Tracy and Mike were a charm great stay 100% reccommend

Honestly, this is really a piece of heaven when you need to get some time to reflect, relax, and switch off. It's close enough to restaurants and shopping centres for convenience, but it feels like you're completely away from civilisation when you're at the farm. Ryan is a wonderful host and person and was so accommodating. The Karoo Lodge is beautiful and it has to be experienced to fully appreciate its beauty and energy. If you love fires burning and listening to music on vinyl, this is the perfect setting for you! So impressed by Big Inja's facilities and beauty. Honestly, this was everything I needed and more! The cottage is exactly what we were looking for. A rural retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Johannesburg. If you want to feel like you are away in nature yet somewhat part of a working farm then this is the place for you. With it being situated inside an indigenous nursery just made it so much more special. Not to speak about the farm fresh milk and cream in the fridge. Bliss!!

Stewart met us upon our arrival and went out of his way to make us feel right at home. We were left to enjoy the privacy and peacefulness of the beautiful quaint cottage and the animals that lived on the premises. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed for our 2 day stay in Johannesburg, with the location also perfect as everything we needed was within a 10 minute drive. We will definitely return!

We so enjoyed our stay, the accommodation, location and surroundings were perfect. Stu & Ali were wonderful hosts and very welcoming. We were made to feel like old friends and will definitely be back again.

Jen’s place is truly the perfect retreat for your family. The house is extremely well equipped and located on a beautiful and peaceful plot. The bedrooms are spacious and accommodating and the house has many living and entertainment facilities. My family and I had absolutely everything that we needed. Jen is the most attentive host, she was quick to respond and did so with kindness and humility. My kids were constantly engaged with multitudes of activities and equipment on site… from the massive grounds to the bicycles, skateboards, hoverboards etc! They were never bored. I would highly recommend this stay. Especially for families. Thank you Jen. A winning stay.

One of the loveliest homes I have ever stayed at. Absolute peace beauty. The view is breathtaking and the home is a stunning well-maintained 1940s home with renovated essentials. What made the experience so memorable is how lovely the host and the people on the property are. So kind and helpful, without intruding on your space. I can highly recommend this stay 🫶🏼
