What a treat! I grew up in Madison and didn’t realize this amazing bed and breakfast was right under my nose! Michael was incredibly friendly and helpful and the space was fantastic. I will absolutely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful space, central location and delicious breakfast!

Luxurious country guest house

The house was very peaceful and quiet. Caryn owns three alpacas and a sheep and they were adorable and fun to watch. The house was very rustic and comfortable and very well equipped. Caryn was an amazing host. She was at the house to greet us when we arrived and was very accommodating with any questions that we had. She couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect.

Kathy's place was perfect for my short stay in Guilford. She cooks a good breakfast! We had great conversation and I appreciated her local knowledge. Her cottage is in a great location for guests without a car. Everything is a short walk. Thanks for a great few days!

The Cragin Room at The O'Connell House B&B

We just enjoyed our third stay with Brian and his wife, Jean. This time, we choose the Cragin Room, which was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was a nice was to start the day...including a breakfast sandwich to go to accommodate our early start. This is a nice option for us to stay when we are visiting family in town.

This was a quick overnight trip but wow, was I impressed. To have a place that welcomes dogs, and yet is so pristine and welcoming. I’m disappointed to have missed breakfast with the group. I would absolutely stay here again if I find myself on the S side of CT. Thank you for being to prompt and responsive and making check in so easy Michael!

Abel Buell Home B&B- Queen Bedroom

Cathy’s Inn is the perfect spot to experience the charm of the CT shoreline. Most of the inn was built in the 1700s, but you have access to a nice updated bathroom. The furnishings are lovely. Best of all, however, is Cathy, the host. She’s a lot of fun and very easy to talk to. I have stayed with her several times, and will continue to do so.

We were so excited when we saw an opening at Michael’s B&B this weekend. It’s our second time visiting this beautiful inn. We love the charm of the house and all the thoughtful amenities in it. The jacuzzi tub is a big draw for us. We will be back again for sure.
