Irene’s home is very warm and beautiful, nicely themed house with her life experiences all over the world, it was beautiful chatting with her.A very friendly lady, accommodating me last minute, I was also offered a wonderful humble meal , would stay again in the future!

This is a character room with stunning views. The restaurant attached is well known in the local area for a high standard of food. We enjoyed visiting family and being able to walk back without the need for a taxi.

What an amazing house, dog friendly, too! Perfect location for our family wedding. Frances was most helpful and very accommodating. Will stay again next time we visit family in Holmbridge.

The room felt like I was in a hotel. Shampoo, Shower Gel ready, teas and coffees and milk. Was a great place to stay at. Pete was super helpful and proactive with communication.

I had a fantastic experience staying with Joe! He is incredibly respectful and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The place was spotless and well-maintained, reflecting their attention to detail. Beautiful location. Own parking area. Clean tidy rooms. Bathroom had a jacuzzi bath which was a god send after all the walks. Selection of cereal in room along with plenty of tea and coffee and a pint of milk in the fridge. Claire and Robbie were great hosts. Gave us a run down of Castleton and where to go. Friendly banter and made us feel very welcome. They were very responsive to anything we asked. Highly recommend this as a place to stay as it is accessible to so many walks including Mam Tor and Castleton has numerous pubs and restaurants to choose in such a small area so there is always somewhere to have refreshment and nourish after a walking day. I stayed with Carol and John for about 2 months from Toronto and it was an amazing stay! Everything was set up beautifully and the room was really comfortable. They were really helpful whenever I had any questions and it immediately felt like home. The house is really lovely and in a nice neighborhood - there’s a little grocery nearby that has all the basic items you might need. I’d love to stay with them when I visit York again!

Brian was absolutely lovely and was able to the room around extremely quickly for me after I got stranded in Harrogate.

Juliette and Nick’s loft is a peaceful and comfortable space in a safe and affluent residential area of Bramhope. There is a lovely view through large windows looking out over gardens, fields and hills. The breakfast was generous and I enjoyed the nice toiletries. I also appreciated the plants, books, ornaments and thoughtful touches which made it a homely and welcoming place to be. Juliette and Nick were really hospitable and all communication beforehand was great too. We recommend the loft as a fab place to stay and look forward to returning ourselves one day.

The Old Vicarage is a lovely house in a nice village. There are many hikes you can do in the area. We enjoyed traveling the Peak District. The room was very clean and breakfast was great. Tricia was very friendly and welcomed us with a big smile. We recommend staying here strongly.

Had a great stay at Helen's house. Nice room with double bed, hanging space and chargers provided if needed. Helen also offers breakfast and there is water provided in the bedroom which is a nice touch. Helen is very well-organised and provides lots of information in folders in the bedroom. The location was excellent for my purposes and Chorlton offers a great variety of eateries and bars. All in all a great find and excellent value for money. I hope to stay again!

Really lovely host and home. Debbie was very welcoming and her home felt calm and homely. Her two cats are a joy too!

Tres bien équipée avec des prises USB et connexion wifi rapide literie confortable, très propre. la SDB pour la chambre était grande et c était appréciable de pouvoir utiliser la cuisine. jack est très sympathique et très disponible quand on lui demande un renseignement. La maison est au calme à 10 minutes du centre et à 20 minutes de l'ethiad stadium a pieds. Autour à 5 minutes il y a des bars restaurants bakery et supermarché, bref super emplacement ! on reviendra ici pour le prochain match de city !!

Andrew is an excellent host, we arrived early and he was very accommodating with the early check in. The house was perfect for us, few minutes walk to all pubs and restaurants. He gave us some great recommendations for real ale pubs. Brilliant veggie breakfast for me and a full English for the wife. We would recommend to stay there and hopefully we'll be back ☺️. Absolutely loved our short but sweet stay, the hosts were so lovely and made us feel right at home. Lovely breakfast was left out for us and the house is just beautiful. Thank you both! Will definitely book again when visiting friends in the area.

Jenny's place was a real treasure to find. She made my wife and I really feel at home. Very hospitable and nothing was too much trouble. We especially loved using the pod at the bottom of her garden which overlooked the canal.

We had a brilliant nights stay at the Swan. Di and John were wonderful hosts the beds were super comfy and the shower/wet room was amazing. As hosts they couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome we will definitely be coming back :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The White Swan! Di was super helpful and responsive, the room itself was lovely, very clean, full of amenities and bed super comfy. We also enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in the pub, they were even able to accommodate for my gluten allergy which I was grateful for. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again ☺️

Highly recommend. Claire's house is a gorgeous historic building with plenty of space (and as promised plenty of art!). She very kindly upgraded us to the ensuite room, just because it was empty. It was a really lovely space - spotlessly clean, bright and airy, with house plants on the mantle. The bathroom had a big cast iron tub and large shower. I was amazed at all the amenities in the bathroom - bath salts, oils and flannels as well as multiple types of body and hair washes. Claire herself was a fantasic host. She cooked us an incredible, plentiful, breakfast with what were clearly good farm shop quality ingredidents. She took the time to sit and chat with us and was a brilliant conversationalist (but also made sure we were running to the schedule we'd shared with her). She has a very uplifting personality. We would definitely stay here again. It's also worth mentioning that Tadcaster itself is a very pleasant and picturesque village with plenty of amenities.

Our Wild Rose Deluxe Room at The White Swan was wonderful- spotlessly clean, lovely decor and gorgeous bathroom with a great shower! Breakfast served in the pub with bacon sandwiches, juice and coffee was such a lovely touch as was the drinks tray with a nice range of drinks and biscuits. Finished to a high standard and a lovely bed! Our hosts were incredibly helpful with checking in, getting a local taxi and navigating the local area. Would highly recommend staying at The White Swan. It’s located in a beautiful area and is a wonderfully quiet and peaceful stay. Thank you!
