LOVED this gem of a retreat. I mean how can you not love a sauna, kayak, hot tub, fire pit, and a spacious cabin that overlooks port moody. I wish I could stay for a month! And so cool, you take a boat to get to the cabin. I’ve been telling everyone at my work about this place!

It’s our second time in the Band House, and we fell in love with the place even more. Garth and Jen are super friendly and accommodating. We reached out to inquire about availability and they were kind enough to open the dates for us, since we’ve been there before. The place itself is incredibly peaceful. Our dogs love it, and a morning walk around the property with a coffee in hand is exactly what you need if you want to get away from the stress of the city. We loved seeing Cooper (the dog) again too! What a super chill and friendly dog, even if ours were barking at poor Cooper. The hot tubs are a highlight too! We really want to make our visits more frequent, as I now consider this my happy place away from home. Can’t wait to get married there as well! Ask them about the option if you have the chance to visit.

We had such a great time at Carraholly Retreat! The boat ride over was super easy, and the place itself was so cute and cozy. We loved the clean hot tub and spent a lot of time relaxing in the sauna - it was such a treat. Perfect spot for a quick getaway from the city. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape!

This was our first time staying longer than one day in Canada. It was beautiful and peaceful, The Staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't have time to grab groceries our first night and they gave us some Pasta and Spaghetti. The hot tub was also very warm and relaxing. We will be back in the Summer to Kayak and swim for sure!

Beautiful spot in paradise. The cabin was fully stocked with beautiful linen, bathroom amenities and a fully stocked kitchen (2 fridges). The communication from the owners was amazing. The only problem was the road up, they do have a gator but you need experience to use it but otherwise highly recommended.

Wildwood cabins was a lovely and private getaway. Reg was super responsive to all of our questions and has maintained a space that is a beautiful retreat. It’s perfectly dog-friendly (on leash) and within a short drive of everything you’d like to do on the weekend. A couple of notes: I’d recommend bringing your own ground coffee for the MOKA pot (what is provided runs out quick), and only a few groceries for breakfast/lunch due to the small fridge. Otherwise, you’ll have everything you need on site. Enjoy your island stay!

I stayed at this beautiful cabin for about five months and had an amazing experience. The views of the ocean were absolutely stunning, and the sunrises were breathtaking. The cabin itself was peaceful, cozy, and perfect for the winter, especially with the fireplace to keep warm. I loved watching ocean wildlife from the cabin, and I often had visits from friendly deer. One of my favorite parts was spending time with Juno, the sweet and friendly dog from the main house, who would often stop by for head scratches and a hello. Vanessa, the host, was wonderful—always helpful and responsive whenever I had questions. This cabin was the perfect winter getaway, and I would absolutely love to come back!

We loved our stay and wished we had planned a longer trip. It was so peaceful and beautiful. We can’t wait to come back.

We had a WONDERFUL time at the little red cottage. The view is incredible! We loved having access to the beach and swim out to the swim dock. We were lucky enough to watch orca whales from the house! Ian and Mary were amazing hosts and made sure we felt right at home with everything we needed. We can’t wait to come back!!

I have to say that this was probably the most relaxing vacation we've ever had. We swam in the rain, hiked, read, did puzzles, and painted. We cooked together and made the best of the rain. The neighbors didn't seem to be around, so we had this little slice of paradise all to ourselves. The place isdogs friendly, which is a huge plus. I loved the old stove, and we even had our first crayfish. There were lots of huckleberries to pick, so we made huckleberry pancakes. I would recommend this place 100%. We hope to come back for my son's and my birthday in September.

Alderwood Farm is a magical place. It's calm and serene. It's a wonderful escape from city life and we can't wait to come back.

Great location and Glenn was quick to respond with any questions we had during our stay. We would definitely go back!

The suite was perfectly located in Coquitlam, and Quang was a spectacular host. I will be staying here again in the future.

Tina's place was the perfect little spot for a quiet weekend as it feels really private yet is only a short drive to anything you need. Incredibly clean and well equipped with everything you need for simple meals and relaxing in a zen indoor-outdoor vibe. It's a short drive from Langdale ferry terminal and super easy to get around. It feels like you're waking up right in the forest looking through the glass doors in the mornings. It was so cozy sitting on the banquette and deck reading or making a fire outside as it got cooler at night. The outdoor shower, while being surrounded by trees and crisp, fresh air is just lovely. Every inch of the AirBnB is well thought out - even down to the automatic walkway lights from the car to the entrance! Great spot to just unplug (wifi was strong, but not using it was even better :) ) and relax into nature but with all the comforts. Tina's recommendations for things to do was great - loved Soames Hill & Sunday Cider. Hope to stay again soon!

We had a wonderful stay and plan to return! The perfect place to rest and restore.

The spacious "cabin" is superbly designed and equipped. Top quality appliances, under-floor heating (which we didn't need, it being summer) with multiple controls for different areas of the house (which is a better description for it), triple-glazed windows with screens, I could go on! The forest situation, in a waterfront residential district of large lots and big houses, ia tranquil and beautiful. As we were visiting family in the area, we didn't do much more than sleep in the "cabin", but one could truly live in it for extended periods. It's hard to think what could be done to improve it. A special touch, which my wife and family visitors admired very much, was the "frosted glass" window next to the front door, which showed an aerial view chart of the islands and coastline of the Georgia Strait waters of BC. We will certainly stay there again!

I had a really lovely stay at Reishi, and it was exactly what I needed. The cabin was super comfortable and very well organized. It was quiet with big incredible old trees to look out at and be with. The little village and beach are nearby / walkable and they are very gracious and helpful hosts. Thanks very much!
