For the past two years, I have stayed in multiple short term rental homes in Harrodsburg. Each was very nice. This Harrodsburg home was absolutely perfect!!! Beyond our expectations. No clutter but every possible amenity was available. Well thought out from the perspective of their guests. Deck was solid, clean and comfortable couch and chairs. The hot tub was greatly appreciated after a day of riding horses. The 3 king bedrooms are specious, beds comfortable and updated, spotless bathrooms. Kitchen well stocked and the dining table was perfect for our birthday dinner. Parking and backing out on a busy street were tricky but we made it work with large SUVs. This home is number one on our list for several future bookings this summer. Enjoy and safe travels

While this house is not particularly close to bourbon tastings, the size of the house and quiet neighborhood ensured we were well rested for the next day’s adventure. About 40 minutes from Lexington and 90 minutes from Louisville, we spent a lot of time driving between destinations. The house itself was well equipped for our party of six. Plenty of space for each person’s privacy and large common areas that allowed everyone to eat and drink together. We were unable to enjoy the water below due to recent flooding.

Everything about it was wonderful, I loved that we were able to walk around the corner and eat at the restaurant. Cutest downtown was also walkable. The beds very comfy, I have been to others that are not. Everything was so clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a wonderful girls weekend on the lake. The house was spacious, clean and well stocked. I would recommend this place to anyone! Jessica was a great host!

I would need way more than a 1000 characters to describe how amazing Shirley and Dave were. One of the things we like to do as cigar smokers is sit around the fire pit. Each day filled our fire pit was filled with fresh lumber. We were ivited to a personal private gathering and recommended to an event that happens only twice a year. If it weren't for Shirley we would not have even known the event was happening I can go on and on.... amazing host. If you start another tier of host higher than super host put Shirley at the top of that category. Did I mention amazing?

Susan was a wonderful host and her home was beautiful with a historical charm (and spotless). We had a party of 8 and it left us more than enough room for privacy and socializing. We enjoyed the small (and large) touches that made this a special and unique stay. We all enjoyed the train more than I expected and spent a late night playing family games in the dining room. The girls all enjoyed the decor for social media worthy pictures and it was fun for us to be able to get ready together in the large master bedroom and bathroom with the cutest dressing area. Prime location for distilleries and a nice break from the crowds after a day at Keeneland. We hope to return again and be able to use the outdoor space as we just ran out of time. It made for wonderful memories for everyone and I thank Susan for that opportunity and her great hospitality.

Jeff’s place was perfect! Much more breath taking in person than the photos! Beds are soft, hot tub and tv outside were perfect! We will definitely be returning soon!

We had an excellent stay. Couldn’t ask for better. Location was very close to our destination. Super clean! Very well stocked with plenty of clean linens. Superb coffee selection! Easy to access. Flexible check in times. Always extra quick to respond. Even nicer than described. Would gladly stay here again. Would also like to add very pet friendly. That was an important feature for us. Thank you again for such excellent accommodations!

We loved our stay at the Uptown Retreat. The place was very comfortable, clean, and it had everything we needed. The location was perfect. It was close to restaurants, shops, and Keenland. David was very welcoming, responsive, and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We had the best weekend! Great location but felt away from the business of Lexington! Wish we would have been able to stay longer than the weekend.

Our stay at Nora’s abode was easy and so comfortable! The home was very clean, Nora was responsive with our questions, and we loved being able to walk to cute coffee shops and around the beautiful neighborhood. 10/10 recommend.

My stay here was wonderful. The apartment is beautiful and so peaceful and serene. The bathroom is gorgeous, the bed was so comfy. Kathy was wonderful to speak to and I felt right at home. I would absolutely stay here again if I am ever back this way.

A cute house in a great area for exploring Lexington. There’s plenty of bars, restaurants, and coffee shops within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the Four Roses Suit and it was wonderful. This was during the snow and it felt really cozy and was had a great HVAC system heated up fast and stayed warm all night easily. Walking distance to Vallozzi’s which is excellent, and the coffee shop on the corner is really great too. Host were responsive and good to deal with. Highly recommend.

We very much enjoyed our brief time in this beautifully restored apartment and would gladly stay again. The owners have done a fantastic job maintaining the historic feel of the building while also ensuring all modern conveniences. The location in the middle of the beautiful Kentucky horse country is also terrific. Thank you for a very nice stay.

A great location close to Rupp arena and a quick uber ride to downtown Lexington bars and restaurants. Easy drive to several of the most popular distilleries. The property is newer and was extremely clean. There was a great smart TV and a Nespresso machine with plenty of pods. The primary bathroom was very large and well appointed. The second full bath is also nice. Plenty of towels and extra blankets and toilet paper/paper towels were provided. Easy access to the building and the unit itself. It is worth noting that the second bedroom does have a “window” towards the ceiling that has no glass and is open to the living room. There were two couples traveling together for our stay. We were hardly there (busy visiting distilleries and hanging out downtown) and when we were, we were all sleeping and up at the same time in the mornings so it wasn’t an issue for us but worth noting.

Lots to do nearby. A nice quiet place to stay.
