Absolutely incredible! I cannot think of a better place to stay to unwind and enjoy nature. Such beauty and so close! We saw SO many amazing animals…birds, deer, turtles, and even an armadillo! The place was so clean and comfortable. We felt right at home! I cannot wait to come back and stay there again. Thanks for everything!

Great stay. Location was great. Following checkout there was an issue with a family member who had done something that we were unaware of. Chris let us know about what had happened. I was so sorry and appreciated her kindness in the situation. I’m on the hunt for something for her to repay her kindness. She is a great host. Thanks Chris.

We had a wonderful stay at Oscar’s place! Located in town, we had easy access to all stores and restaurants. Oscar was responsive, kind, and helpful. The home was clean and beautiful, and we loved looking at the renovation pictures. We highly recommend staying here if you are traveling to Menard!

Great place to stay and enjoy being with family. Was nice and warm for the cold weather we had.

We had another local place cancel on us same day last minute and we were already at our destination to check in. They were able to book us and allowed us to arrive sooner, very accommodating. Place is newer, clean, and will look to book only this place if ever back in town. Loved it!

Staying at this ranch was an unforgettable experience! It’s something magical about this place. The house was clean, cozy, and had a rustic charm that made me feel right at home. Every morning I had my coffee in the backyard and one morning a baby hare kept me company. Our hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. They gave us a tour of the property and introduced us to the animals. This is the perfect place if you're looking to unwind, connect with nature, and get a true taste of Texas. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

We wanted to break up our trip from Georgetown to Fort Davis and found this adorable apartment in Menard, TX very last minute aka day-of! Laramie was quick to reply when I messaged her to ask if I could reserve same day. It’s located in a collection of a restaurant, boutique, and outdoor area for entertainment. Great set up with the restaurant onsite. We’d love to go back when there’s a concert- apparently they have some great events! Apartment was cozy with a king size bed, full bathroom, AC, well-stocked and comfortable. Perfect spot for a little getaway or overnight stay on a longer trip!

Great time once again in Menard. I highly recommend this location.
