Our stay was wonderful! The home is beautiful and we enjoyed it so much! Bouwien was a great host with clear communication and always responsive. we would recommend this home to anyone visiting the beautiful town of Montagu.

Absolutely wonderful experience at Madri’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Madri was always ready to help with any questions or recommendations we needed, making our stay so much smoother. The space itself was clean, cozy, and had all the essentials, which made us feel right at home. Madri’s warm hospitality and genuine care for her guests truly set this Airbnb experience apart. A Slice of Paradise. Wow! What an unforgettable stay! Nestled on top of a hill, this home offers breathtaking views of the valley that instantly set the tone for a peaceful and luxurious getaway. Honestly, the photos don’t do it justice — the house is even more beautiful in person! From the moment we arrived, we were in awe. The immaculate gardens, tranquil water feature, and that perfect sunset-facing view created the most magical setting. The house itself was incredibly well-stocked with thoughtful touches throughout. Whether it was cozying up by the indoor fireplace, relaxing in the hot tub, or cooling off in the sparkling pools, every detail was designed with comfort and peace in mind. The host went above and beyond — kind, attentive, and left the most heartwarming welcome gifts. (Those delicious rusks were a morning must-have!) We’re already checking our calendars to book our next stay. This truly is a hidden gem!

A nice place to stay in a lovely town. We arrived in the rain, so walking wasn't a great option, but a short drive to restaurants. We struggled a bit with the directions to get in but Alida arrived within minutes to help us out. Wine was appreciated after a long days drive.

Very nice home and location. Just what we needed for the Double Century cycle race !

We absolutely loved Mira’s house and garden. The sauna was also a great surprise which we really enjoyed. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Sally’s gorgeous place and will definitely stay again ..Sally and Jeans’ collection of vinyl records was just awesome ..wonderful memories and so much fun playing records again in this digital age!!

We had a great stay. Close enough to Worcester and restaurants to visit, far enough away to have peace. The hot tub was great fun. Splash pool was welcome as it was quite hot. Nice view from the stoep.

Great location and beautiful surroundings. We really enjoyed the stay, particularly the direct access to the nature reserve walks and spending lots of time outside and in the pool. Will definitely be back

Lovely house in a breathtaking location. So much bigger and nicer than the photos! Helana was a great host and on hand. Check-in and out was easy. Great security on the property, felt very safe. Thank you Helana for making us feel right at home!

Our stay at Fonteinskloof was amazing (cottage 4)! The location and cottage was private and cozy, exactly what we hoped for. Our host Michael was so friendly, helpful and extra caring. Went the extra mile throughout our stay and even brought us chocolate eggs on Easter morning! He also did an amazing antelope game drive with us which was worth every cent! Beauty of this property is an understatement. Well maintained and absolutely outstanding surroundings. We’ll definitely be back!

We loved our stay at Sandi's place. It is ideal for 4 couples, each bedroom with its own bathroom. Has everything that you need and Sandi included Olive oil tasting and a view of the processes that we found interesting. Highly recommend this place.

I truly beautiful and peaceful gateway. Just what was needed. Although there are some dirt roads to navigate getting there they are very well maintained. I suspect we will be back soon

We had a wonderful stay-a true step back in time!

The place is comfortable and spacious and we had a great time. Particularly appreciated the modern and spacious fridge as we needed to store a lot of food for the weekend :) The garden is amazing and the pool was great if a bit cold.

Stayed for two nights at Cooper House with another family. Lovely! The kids loved the outdoor spaces. Can recommend Erna‘s place in Montagu ;)

We had a wonderful stay - the house is in a peaceful, idyllic location at the edge of town, right by the river with horses and cows walking past! The house is a magnificent, large country home, with books, fireplaces, comfy couches, spacious rooms and everything extremely clean. The garden is gorgeous, with the pretty pond, outdoor furniture under cover, and huge amount of space! We loved our time here and hope to be back.

The place is very central. The stay was amazing and very spacious! Adre was very accommodating, amazing host! We would definitely love to return in the future!

An absolute gem! Kleinegeluk is a home away from home. It is in a beautiful location, a few hundred metres away from the Nature reserve. A wonderful place to stay if you want to unwind and relax.

Had a lovely stay here with my family. The location is extremely scenic but also an easy walk to the main town of Swellendam for restaurants and supermarkets. The outside area of this home is fantastic- the stoep and pool area are amazing for warm days as well as one day it was raining here we sat out in perfect comfort watching the storm. Inside was incredible clean and spacious- the kitchen extremely well equipped for both braais and oven/stove cooking. Lynette was a fantastic host- proactive before our stay and responsive throughout!

We had a wonderful stay here. There was a nice big, secure yard for our two dogs, who traveled with us. All of the great restaurants were easily within walking distance of where we stayed (some as close as right across the road). The living area was spacious and fully equipped. There was a big swimming pool (which was great on the hot days) as well as a nice patio area to chill and use the Weber on a clear evening. Talitha was very responsive to our queries and her instructions were very clear. She even offered to reach out to a neighbour to assist us with the gas stove (which we originally thought was not working, but we were using it incorrectly). There were MANY mosquitos, but we're aware that this is true about most of Greyton (standing water in some backyards are part of local preservation) and it is located right at the start of the Main Road, which can be a bit noisy with cars/traffic. But these were very minor and did not detract from a wonderful stay! Highly recommend!
