Amazing hosts. The house was tidy and accommodating. It truly felt like home. Perfect for a family with a pet.

Host does a good job of providing all of the details you need for your stay. Trash drop off is a bit out of the way, but if you aren’t on a strict schedule when you depart, the drive is enjoyable.Would stay here again.

Great house! As others have said, the pictures don’t do it justice. The property is very peaceful and private with beautiful scenery. We had a relaxing time at the house and enjoyed the hot tub and the game room. There are a variety of restaurants to choose from in town, only about ten minutes away. The hosts were helpful and very responsive. Very much enjoyed the stay!

Everything was great! Very relaxing, private in the country. Everything you needed was within 15-30 minutes away. Very close to the mountains for hikes, historic areas and the Virginia Scenic Railway train ride in Staunton, Va. The train was an hour drive, but you see a lot of the area either by back country roads or interstate. Host had lots of pamphlets, books and other information for your stay, good if you have never been to the area. Enjoyed the Shenandoah area again.

My family and I very much enjoyed our weekend stay at the Cypress House. It is conveniently located just a half hour from Harrisonburg and James Madison University, its close to the Massanutten resort area, and close to the Luray caverns. Pet friendly was a plus for us and there is a large yard for you and the pet to enjoy. The house itself is charming with hardwood floors throughout. Main bathroom with tub and shower is located on the second floor. The kitchen has modern appliances and has a Keurig to use as well. Parking for about 3 or 4 cars should you need it. Host was very communicative and the overall process was very smooth. I would definitely look to stay here again, especially if I were looking to take advantage of all of the outdoor offerings in the area. Also a great option for JMU families during those busy weekends!

We couldn’t have designed a better stay. Perfect location. Immaculate. Stocked with everything (including the best stocked kitchen I’ve seen at an Airbnb). Just an all around delight. Would definitely book again.

We had the most wonderful weekend at Michael’s cabin! From the moment we arrived, I could tell how much care and thought had gone into making guests feel comfortable. The bathroom was stocked with such thoughtful toiletries - a nice touch that made us feel right at home. The bed was also very comfortable, and we slept well each night. The cabin’s modern decor is beautiful and really elevated the whole experience - it felt cozy yet stylish. The location is beautiful: quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. It was the perfect escape, and we loved waking up to the sounds of birds and fresh air. Michael was a fantastic host, always quick to respond and friendly in his communication. We really appreciated the detailed online guide he provided for the cabin and the local area - it made everything so easy, from check-in to finding great spots nearby. We enjoyed renting Jackson Hole house. It is our second time being there and the house was clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. The house is spacious and everything was in working order.

This property was fantastic! Set on the outskirts of Elkton, we were able to quickly get into the Shenandoah National Park for some hiking and walk into town for a great dinner. Everything about the property was beautiful and impressive - it was extremely clean, spacious, and coxy. We visited over the weekend and couldn't even tell that we were below an optometry office. And the bunk beds easily fit adults and added a little extra fun (and brought back old memories) to our adventure! Ruth provided everything that we could have possibly needed and more. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to the area!

Paula’s place is just as described - spacious and welcoming! Very clean and has everything you would need during your stay. Easy to find and 10mins from JMU (we were there to visit with our son). Paula is a very friendly and responsive host. Would definitely stay here again!

In area for work for the week, brought a friend. Ended up getting a winter storm same day of arrival, was unable to spend as much time outside as we had hoped. Fortunately, the place was comfortable and warm. We ended up enjoying relaxing evenings watching shows and cooking. Will return again when in the area.

This place was the perfect getaway!

This was the perfect house for our family of 3! It was within walking distance of several good breakfast/lunch/dinner spots. It was a bit further from Shenandoah that I thought - 30 min - but the drive was very easy. The keypad to get inside the house was a bit finnicky but we eventually got the hang of it. The McGraths were very friendly and responsive and provided some great recommendations. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We had an unforgettable family vacation at "A Time to Chill". The name fits perfectly... lots of space for our family of five, great game room, super comfortable bedrooms, beautiful backyard, everything spotless and organized. We loved the fire pit with the star filled sky, having a barbecue dinner under the patio lights, and everyone enjoyed the hot tub! Top it off with the breathtaking views and hikes in the Shenandoah National Park, plenty of restaurants with good food, friendly folks, and fun places to sightsee. Every day we came "home" and enjoyed true family time with lots of laughs, sharing stories, hopes for the future and heartfelt prayers. Veronica was very responsive for all our questions. We will always treasure this vacation.

This home was a very comfortable stay for my friends and I as we celebrated a birthday. The house is very spacious and perfect for a peaceful getaway in the Shenandoah National Park area. Darwin was very responsive. Highly recommend!
