Nous avons passé un très beau séjour à Mazunte. La maison est magnifique, les chambres sont spacieuses et décorées avec beaucoup de goût. Toutes les ouvertures en bois ont été spécialement conçues pour empêcher les moustiques d’entrer, c’est idéal. La piscine et la douche extérieures ont été un vrai plus pour se rafraîchir à toute heure. La vue et la lumière au lever du soleil est absolument superbe. À seulement 5 minutes à pied du village, avec de très bons restaurants et cafés à proximité. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

This place is pure magic. From the moment we booked, Orion and his family made us feel so welcome - sending a thoughtful list of local recommendations that truly shaped our experience (don’t skip them!). The home itself is a masterpiece. It’s more than just a place to stay—it’s a work of art, filled with beauty, intention, and warmth. We woke up every morning to breathtaking sunrises and the songs of visiting birds. Some days we’d find little surprises waiting outside - like a fresh watermelon or a child handing us a flower. These small gestures meant so much. We also quickly fell in love with the dogs, and it was hard to say goodbye to them. The best dogs ever. Orion also provided us a fantastic mezcal tasting, sharing his deep knowledge, and he also taught us how to make an incredible salsa from scratch. We look forward to make it on our own every week as soon as we are home again (it truly was a next level salsa). It’s hard to describe just how special this place is - go visit!

Está precioso este lugar, justo como se describe en el post, está rodeado de vistas maravillosas y todo es muy tranquilo, además está súper limpio y Cynthia nos ayudó muchísimo con recomendaciones locales, siempre nos dio las mejores recomendaciones, definitivamente volveremos a visitarlo.

Nuestra estancia en la casa de Gabriel fue un sueño. La playa de Salchi un paraiso y el hecho que el mar este en tu patio delantero insuperable. Es una playa muy privada y sin tumultos incluso en temporada alta, hermosa! Y Gabriela es la mas amable y flexible, un verdadero placer

The house is absolutely stunning and true to the description. Our group loves to cook, so we were very happy with the well-stocked kitchen and beautiful dining areas. We loved lounging by the pool — it’s extremely relaxing. This place is probably best suited for those that want to chill out and enjoy the house itself or those who have hired a car. It’s situated close to the local town and beach (up a very steep hill), but you have to taxi to Zipolite or Mazunte for more action, which adds up over a few days. But all in all a wonderful place to stay and great value for money.

This was a great place for our family. Nothing fancy but very confortable. Our kids loved the pool even after full days at the beach. Air conditioning was welcome and we enjoyed all the space. Great view, could hear the waves as we relaxed at night and we enjoyed the hammocks. As well, Perla and her crew were amazing - our son got sick on the day we had to check out and Perla let us relax in another space she had and store our bags while we decided what to do- she would have let us stay if there had not been another booking. Totally recommend, and we will be back!

Lindo lugar! El carro fue indispensable para ir a la playa pues no había otra alternativa pero muy rápido y fácil! Casa muy hermosa, con el apoyo increíble de Jorge.

Second time around, for several good reasons: great place, great view (on the ocean, sunrises), very quiet. The staff is very friendly, Yuli is a gem! Maybe next year we'll be back...

We had a great time during our stay in San Augustinillo and Casa Gala. The house is about a one-minute walk up a dirt road off the main street through town. There is one parking spot which is great if you rent a car because parking can be hard to find in both San Augustinillo and Mazunte. There are plenty of restaurants within a few minutes walk and a market on the corner. We were there in early April and everyone was at the beaches named Playa Bebe and Playa Elefante, the rest of the beaches were a little too rough for swimming in April. These two were the best swimming beaches we found in the immediate San Augustinillo/ Mazunte area and were good for kids. They are an easy, five minute walk from Casa Gala. The best beaches for swimming are about an hour drive in the Hualtuco region. San Augustin and Riscalillo are beautiful coves with great snorkeling. We hear they can be crowded but mid week in April they were very plesant. Gala had great recommendations for beaches and food.

Very nice place, view is beautiful (the ocean!!!), staff is very friendly, kitchen is super equipped, highly recommended!

Our stay at Esteban’s was nothing short of amazing. The local is fantastic, only 5mins from the beach in a quiet area. The place is comfortable, stays cool and clean. It looks better than the pictures. Esteban and his wife are wonderful and helpful hosts. We felt fully relaxed and rested when we check-out. We highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Zipolite.

The setting is absolutely spectacular in person - even better than the images. The house is charming and the walk down the hill to the semi private beach is long but perfectly manageable. The team at the hotel Bahia de la Luna could not have been lovelier. there is also a wonderful outdoor shower that i used every day However, the listing should stress how tricky (steep and rough) the roads are to navigate. i rented a normal sedan car and although it is DOABLE in a regular car, I wished every day that i had a 4 wheel drive vehicle. We also felt that the kitchen could be a little better equipped and the stove/oven were rather temperamental. Given that the position of the house made it hard to go out for dinner at night, it's important to be able to cook. the local market (fish in Puerto Angel or the big municipal market in Pochutla) are wonderful. Last - it would have been good to have some seating on the two bedroom balconies and some extra seating for the dining table

Bianca is an amazing host, so kind and thoughtful. The loft is gorgeous, spacious clean and awesome for exploring Zipolite and neighbouring beaches. Highly recommend ❤️

excelente lugar para descansar y relajarse , lo único que recomiendo es llegar con la luz del dia, aunque las indicaciones del anfitrion son buenas, el servicio de Internet en los móviles no es bueno en el área y cuesta trabajo recibir mensajes o seguir Google maps, ya estando en la casa tiene buen servicio de WiFi, así que recomiendo lleves el mapa descargado, por lo demás todo estuvo excelente, muy amables y pendientes en todo momento, gracias .

Casa Ana is a hidden gem! We loved everything about this place. The pictures don’t do it justice, this place is so unique! We felt safe and secure throughout our stay. The amenities are great. It has everything you may need including a fully equipped kitchen. Great location, just a few steps from the beach, and walking distance to San Agustinillo’s downtown and Mazunte. Our host was very attentive and responded quickly to the questions we had. We will definitely come back and this time we’ll try to stay longer! I highly recommend Casa Ana.

I will definitely stay here again! So peaceful, so private, amaaazing views of the open sky over the valley, the hills covered in beautiful flora, and from certain spots on the property you can also see the ocean! I stayed for a whole week and could stay for a year! The hike to and from town is a great daily exercise! We were traveling on foot the whole time and found the walk from the house to the nearest beach was about 15 min down a steep, yet safe, hillside. Great exercise and a great quiet and nature-filled walk to town! And getting back to the house is also great exercise and at times a bit steep—-all so worth it for the views!! The house has everything you need to cook and prepare anything! Extra linens And towels were a huge plus! And Enrique was an incredible host! He went so far as to answer my questions about the rental before I requested to book! Above and beyond! Thank you, Enrique!

El lugar es extraordinario para desconectarse de la ciudad y sentirte plenamente en el campo y playa. La casa cuenta con todo lo necesario para una estancia muy agradable. La terraza al aire libre fue nuestro espacio favorito. Caminando llegas a la playa que tiene poca gente a una excelente temperatura y bajo oleaje qué la hacen ideal para nadar. No extrañamos aire acondicionado pero venimos en diciembre y estuvo nublado... habrá que ver si es suficiente con ventiladores en época de calor. La casa está rodeada de la naturaleza y obviamente hay animales propios del área. Recomiendo cuidar a los niños, llevar suficiente repelente y mantener puertas cerradas. Con el H24 alrededor de cada cuarto fue suficiente para mantenernos a salvo. En verdad disfrutamos la experiencia y volveremos sin dudarlo. Había bioluminiscencia en la playa por la noche! increíble. Sergio muy servicial y amable y Karla al pendiente. Muchas gracias por todo!

Tres bon sejour en famille, avec un jeune enfant. Le logement était fonctionnel, avec ce qu'on a besoin pour un séjour de plage. Et surtout, une belle plage etait a 5 min a pied. A partir d'ici il est possible de visiter d'autres plages ou faire diverses activités (surf, visite mangroves et sites de protection de crocodiles ou tortues, etc) Raquel est très aimable, très réactive lors des diverses questions posées et tres efficace pour resoudre un bug lors de la réservation. On a passé donc un tres bon séjour et nous reviendrons avec plaisir!

La estancia es excelente. Lugar muy privado y sin ruidos. Muy cerca de la naturaleza y el gran cantar de las aves. La casa cuenta con todo lo necesario para pasarla de lujo y descansado. Muy recomendable.

Sehr besonderes Haus mit unglaublicher Aussicht von der großen Dachterasse. Das Bett war sehr bequem und die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Kommunikation mit Paul & Paco war super und beide waren sehr hilfsbereit & freundlich. Der perfekte Ort um ein paar Tage absolute Ruhe zu finden. Die Unterkunft ist sehr abgelegen und nicht ohne Auto/Taxi zu erreichen.

From the moment we first communicated with Maud and her team to the moment we left - what a wonderful experience! The house - the layout and the design was perfect. Each room and space had its own personality. Each has its own charm. The main room has breathtaking views of the coastline! The observation area was fantastic for whale watching and the sunrise. The service - Maud and Rihad went above and beyond to make sure every detail was accounted for. It truly made us feel right at home. They were very easy to reach whenever we needed anything. Marina prepared the most wonderful breakfasts each morning. The Food - we opted to have meals prepared at the house each day and it was so worth it. Every meal was wonderful! Everything about our stay was wonderful. Maud and her team take great pride in providing the best experience. I could go on and on, but will leave it like this: You will not regret staying here. You may find that once you arrive you may not ever want to leave!
