The cottage is really wonderful and even more spacious than we thought. Yvonne and his husband Paul are the best hosts we've ever found so far, as they can cope with every need you might have at the speed of light! The position is in the wonderful, charming countryside of northern France and this aspect is particularly important, because during our 15 day stay we could visit many many places both in Brétagne and in Normandy, starting from Honfleur, Deauville, Trouville, Caen on the coast to big cities like Nantes, Rennes, Le Mans and Paris (to go to Paris we suggest you reserve in advance for the TGV leaving from Laval which is at about 45/50 mins from the cottage: it will take just 1 hour and 20 mins to be at the Gare de Montparnasse and enjoy "la ville lumière". If you don't like to travel much, the place is anyway ideal for visits in the villages nearby, such as Lassay les Chateaux, where there's a wonderful castle to be visited.....if you're allergic to your car when you're on holiday, the cottage offers a very nice and well furnished kitchen with all the appliances you need, a big hall with a chimney (we didn't use it because it was August), 2 spacious bedrooms and a big bathroom, but we think you'll appreciate staying outside in the garden under the gazebo, have breakfast, lunch, dinner outside on the table, or maybe relax on the chaise-longues supplied or - simpler - on the grass, while smiling cows (especially in the evening) will come to say hallo to the guests :). We don't have children, but we think that the place could be marvelous for them, both to play and make acquaintance with farm animals (only if wished, of course....all animals are kept separated from the cottage). In one word: a holiday we didn't expect to be so relaxing, in such a wonderful place, with so kind hosts, offering you a lot of opportunities, both if you prefer to stay at home and cook the recipes you have no time to prepare at home and if you'd rather visit all the north of France and Paris. Il cottage è davvero meraviglioso e ancor più spazioso di quanto pensassimo. Yvonne e suo marito Paul sono i migliori padroni di casa che abbiamo mai trovato finora, poiché possono far fronte a ogni vostra esigenza alla velocità della luce! La posizione è nella meravigliosa e affascinante campagna del nord della Francia e questo aspetto è particolarmente importante, perché durante il nostro soggiorno di 15 giorni abbiamo potuto visitare molti luoghi sia in Bretagna che in Normandia, a partire da Honfleur, Deauville, Trouville, Caen sulla costa, per arrivare in grandi città come Nantes, Rennes, Le Mans e Parigi (per andare a Parigi consigliamo di prenotare in anticipo il TGV in partenza da Laval che dista circa 45/50 minuti dal cottage: ci vorranno solo 1 ora e 20 min per essere alla Gare de Montparnasse e godersi "la ville lumière". Se non vi piace viaggiare molto, il posto è comunque l'ideale per le visite nei paesi vicini, come Lassay les Chateaux, dove c'è un meraviglioso castello da visitare.....se, invece, siete allergici all'auto quando siete in vacanza, il cottage offre una cucina molto carina e ben arredata con tutti gli elettrodomestici necessari, un grande ingresso con camino (non l'abbiamo usato perché era agosto), 2 ampie camere da letto e un grande bagno, ma pensiamo apprezzerete molto star fuori in giardino sotto il gazebo, fare colazione, pranzo, cena fuori a tavola, o magari rilassarsi sulle chaise-longue in dotazione o - più semplicemente - sull'erba, sorridendo alle mucche (soprattutto in la sera) che verranno a salutare gli ospiti :). Non abbiamo bambini, ma pensiamo che il posto possa essere meraviglioso per loro, sia per giocare che per fare conoscenza con gli animali della fattoria (solo se lo desiderate, ovviamente....tutti gli animali sono tenuti separati dal cottage). In una parola: una vacanza che non ci aspettavamo fosse così rilassante, in un posto così meraviglioso, con padroni di casa così gentili, che ci ha offerto tante occasioni, sia che preferiate rimanere a casa e cucinare le ricette che non avete tempo di preparare quando siete a casa, sia che preferiate visitare tutto il nord della Francia e Parigi. Le cottage est vraiment magnifique et encore plus spacieux que nous le croyions. Yvonne et son mari Paul sont les meilleurs hôtes que nous ayons jamais trouvés jusqu'à présent, car ils peuvent répondre à tous vos besoins à la vitesse de l'éclair ! L'emplacement est dans la merveilleuse et charmante campagne du nord de la France et cet aspect est particulièrement important, car pendant notre séjour de 15 jours, nous avons pu visiter de nombreux endroits à la fois en Bretagne et en Normandie, à partir de Honfleur, Deauville, Trouville, Caen sur la côte vers les grandes villes comme Nantes, Rennes, Le Mans et Paris (pour aller à Paris nous vous conseillons de réserver à l'avance le TGV au départ de Laval qui est à environ 45/50 min du cottage : il ne vous faudra qu'une heure et 20 minutes environ pour arriver à la Gare de Montparnasse et profiter de "la ville lumière". Si vous n'aimez pas beaucoup voyager, l'endroit est tout de même idéal pour des visites dans les villages voisins, comme Lassay les Châteaux, où il y a un magnifique château à visiter..... si, par contre, vous êtes allergique à votre voiture lorsque vous êtes en vacances, le cottage offre une cuisine très agréable et bien meublée avec tous les appareils nécessaires, un grand hall avec cheminée (nous ne l'avons pas utilisée car c'était en Août), 2 grandes chambres à lits et une grande salle de bain, mais nous pensons que vous apprécierez aussi Vous relaxer dehors dans le jardin sous le gazebo, prendre le petit déjeuner, le déjeuner, le dîner sur la table dans le jardin, ou peut-être Vous détendre sur les chaises longues fournies ou - plus simplement -

Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Maroie et Alexandre. Super communication, super accueil, un logement au top, génial avec des enfants et la région est vraiment super pour les familles ! On était super ravis !

Nos encantó la casa y en todo momento estuvimos en contacto. En la casa estaba todo señalizado para supieramos donde encontrar las cosas. Nos dejó también un manual explicandonos donde estaban los supermercados, restaurantes cercanos e incluso teléfonos y que hacer en caso de alguna urgencia. Hemos pasado unos dias maravillosos y el jardin es precioso. Una casa para disfrutar y unos fantásticos anfitriones. Un lugar recomendado al 100%.

We had a wonderful family stay at the property. A beautiful peaceful setting. We loved the wood burning hot hub and the pizza oven. Gym was great, and games/family chill room was perfect for kids to have their own space seperate from the main living/dining area inside. Jack and Richard on hand and very responsive. Richard even popped over right away with fire lighters on night one when the previous guests had left an empty box which was very helpful.

We hebben echt genoten van dit fijne huis. Prachtig landelijk gelegen; de koeien zie je vanuit het raam in de woonkamer om het huis lopen. Mooi ruim opgezette tuin, gezellige veranda, groot zwembad. Ook de bedden lagen heerlijk en de kamers zijn goed te verduisteren. Wij hadden een beetje pech met het weer, dus ik sluit niet uit dat we nog een keertje terugkomen zodat we hopelijk dan wel optimaal kunnen genieten van het mooie zwembad. Wij waren er met drie kleinere kinderen en die hebben net als wij echt genoten.

We loved this place! We wish we had been able to stay longer! The property conversion is fantastic and the result of some incredible work. The host was very welcoming and even left us with some fresh bread, butter and jam! We loved the location. Very private but with the host nearby in case we needed anything. Our little dog was made to feel very welcome also. The place cosy, we even got to watch some English TV! We will be back and next time we will stay longer!

Le logement correspond très bien aux photos. Il est très spacieux et meublé avec goût, nous y avons passé un excellent séjour à 17 adultes. L'accueil est parfait, nos hôtes ont été très agréables et disponibles.

Our stay at Yip and Paul’s was nothing short of magical. The horsebox is a true gem – so thoughtfully designed, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. It’s clear that Yip and Paul have put so much care into every detail, ensuring that their guests feel completely at home. From the furnishings to the well-stocked kitchen, every aspect of the space was perfect. The peacefulness of the farm was absolutely rejuvenating. Waking up to the gentle sounds of nature, enjoying a morning coffee while overlooking the lush greenery, and unwinding in the serene surroundings made our stay incredibly special. It was the perfect retreat, and Mont Saint-Michel was an easy and scenic drive away. Yip and Paul are truly exceptional hosts - attentive, kind, and passionate about creating a wonderful experience for their guests. We felt incredibly lucky to have found this little slice of paradise and can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you so much, Yip and Paul!

What a beautiful place in beautiful surroundings. We had such a wonderful time staying here. Edward, our host, was very welcoming of us and our four dogs. The gite was perfect, had everything we needed and was clean. The bed was comfortable, the shower was powerful, we could cook, BBQ, eat indoors or enjoy eating outdoors. Edward had even provided some wine, cheese, butter, milk, bread, jam, juice, shower gel, shampoo etc. in fact everything to get us started and more. There were plenty of good quality towels to use too and we used the sofa bed in the living area for one night for a family member and the sheets were all provided and it was comfortable. The grounds are amazing and it is so peaceful. The perfect place to relax and unwind. I cannot recommend this place enough and if Edward will host us again then we will be back!

Für uns war es der perfekte Urlaub. Wir haben uns gefühlt, wie Cameron Diaz in dem Film 'The Holiday'. Das kleine Cottage liegt eingebettet zwischen Weiden und Wiesen. Von überall her kann man Vögel und Bienen lauschen und ansonsten die absolute Ruhe genießen. Wir haben uns in dem Cottage sehr wohlgefühlt, es ist gemütlich und warmherzig eingerichtet, mit Liebe zum Detail. Peter war der perfekte Gastgeber. Er war stets zu erreichen und dabei immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch.

Très bon séjour chez Laurence, nous y étions pour un déplacement professionnel. Logement idéal et facile, propre et agréable. Très spacieux et avec tout ce qu'il faut pour se sentir comme à la maison. Je recommande ce logement les yeux fermé.

What a special place! We had such an lovely time enjoying being in the house and garden, hanging out with the animals ( cats, chicken, and alpacas) and talking to Natalie. It went to discover the region, but the house itself was such a highlight. Natalie, the owner's father built the house and you can see how much care and love he put into it. Almost every part of the house you can see beautiful natural surroundings, with all the windows. The bedding and sheets were very comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked with all you need to make a meal and eat in the garden. The house has a wonderful energy about it and you feel that the moment you arrive. Natalie provides such kind hospitality and attention for her guests that you feel incredibly cared for. We appreciated so much the generous breakfast she provided and all her recommendations of things to do. Thank you so much Natalie for everything and to our animal friends for the company! Dreaming of returning!

Un super séjour entre amis dans ce logement très bien équipé dans un cadre magnifique. Le logement est situé en plein milieu d'une belle campagne avec une vue a couper le souffle. Nous avons bien profité de la piscine et du jacuzzi, et de la belle terrasse sans vis-à-vis. Alexandre est très accueillant et sympathique. Je recommande, c'est idéal pour des retrouvailles entre copains à l'écart de la ville !

Lieu magique ou nous retournerons sûrement prochainement. Tout est pensé, présent et agréable. Le cadre est hors du temps. Une bulle de nature dans laquelle on a l'opportunité de se plonger quelques jours.
