This was such a unique and stylish place to stay! The host is incredibly detail-oriented and has truly thought of everything to make guests feel at home. She even left some bread in the freezer, including gluten-free options, which was such a thoughtful touch. The space felt welcoming and comfortable, with clear instructions for everything, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Really nice place with a lot of room. Photos were representative of the site. Easy access to the lake, Mangakino village, club and 4 square. Ilana was quick to respond when I couldn't work the dang stove top (induction top, not my specialty). Great little fire pit, the marshmallow roasting was a hit. Also, the corner section, with the deck facing the footpath makes it a nice social place to be. Had a chat or a wave to a few locals (heading to or coming back from the club!). Also, has great views of the rugby fields, where apparently a few different clubs practice. Overall, great place to stay, very clean and easy to use and helpful host.

Our stay at this stunning home overlooking Lake Taupō and the golf course was nothing short of incredible. The views in every direction were absolutely breathtaking, and the home's design, furnishings, and fittings were all top-notch—every detail was perfect. It truly felt like a dream to wake up in such a beautiful space each morning. This was, without a doubt, our best Airbnb stay ever, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to call this place home for four nights. We can’t recommend it highly enough!

I loved Chris's place. It was stylish, and the views were incredible. There was nothing like having coffee sitting outside at the hexagon patio table, sipping coffee, and listening to the birds. I would seek out this place to stay again.

Fabulous little cottage with everything we needed. Kitchen was tiny but practical - fun cooking toast and boiling the kettle on the gas hob. We really enjoyed doing the Misty Mountain hikes around the covenants on the farm - was a challenging path (especially for our 5 year old) but a great adventure with amazing views

I had a wonderful stay! Mike was very friendly and easy to communicate with, always quick to respond and helpful with any questions. Everything went smoothly, and I truly appreciated the warm hospitality. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay!

Don's place was perfect for our family stay. There were 15 of us in total, with seven children ranging from 3 to 16 in age. The house had plenty of room inside and out and we made good use of the BBQ and decking dining table. We particularly appreciated that each of the four families had their own bathroom and toilet. The only minor issue was that the bunkroom bunks have little headspace (which Don mentioned in advance), which wasn't ideal for the older children. Don is an excellent host, very welcoming, and easily contactable. If the opportunity arises, we would certainly wish to return.
