Had a great time visiting Crete...Agia Pelagia is a fab place to stay, it's a bit of a walk up a steep hill coming back from the sea front...but unless you have mobility problems don't let it put you off.

la maison est très jolie et confortable, il y a tout de proximité ( restaurant-bar... ecc ...) la hôte Niki très gentille et chaleureuse, une des meilleures expérience airbnb, sûrement à répéter.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft. Vor allem in der Vorsaison ruhig. Grosser Aussenplatz für die eigene Nutzung und Kaffeetrinken direkt am Meer😊. Der Innenbereich grosszügig, so dass man sich auch bei kühleren Temperaturen drinnen wohl fühlen kann. Kommunikation super, schnell und sehr freundlich. Danke Nikos! Auch für das Willkommens - Geschenk (Früchte, Wasser und Olivenöl)

Wir waren im Herbst eine Woche mit unseren drei Kindern in Frangokastello. Wir wurden von den Gastgebern sehr herzlich empfangen und haben sogar verschiedene regionale Lebensmittel geschenkt bekommen, darunter Feta, Gebäck und Zitrusfrüchte. Die Unterkunft selbst bietet alles was man braucht. Besonders gefallen hat uns der Ofen und die Strandnähe. In der Nebensaison ist der Ort sehr, sehr ruhig, es gibt nur eine Hand voll Tavernen in der ganzen Gegend und ein paar Supermärkte, die geöffnet sind. Das hat uns aber nicht weiter gestört.

Amazing view from the sauna and jacuzzi. Super cozy place and was super clean as well. The host was super helpful and was really flexible when we had to make adjustments to our plans during our stay. Highly recommend staying here!

Holiday home from home. everything good. Vassilis very helpful with lots of good extras in room. Studio clean, bright airy, good WiFi with large kitchen area, Expresso coffee machine. Bathroom a tad small, but works. Sleep quiet with shutters closed, Beach 5 minutes walk. Bus stop to Heraklion and airport 3 minutes. Private parking space. We loved our stay in Alex's apartment. Tris Ekklisies is a perfect peaceful seaside village, away from the crowds. The beach is so close and we loved the quiet side, finding a spot under a tree for the day. The sea is great for snorkeling and there are a few tavernas to choose from. The drive down the mountain is spectacular, we recommend Sunny Hill Cafe for a drink or some food on the way. The apartment was lovely, bright and comfortable. We hope to be back one day!

Exceptional Stay! We had an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and right at home. The apartment was beautifully maintained and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Notre séjour Chez Aleksandros s’est extrêmement bien passé. Nous avons adorés l’endroit et l’ambiance du lieu. Le fait que le logement se trouve dans un beach club nous a permis de profiter facilement du restaurant. Les serveurs étaient adorables ! Notre fils de 2 ans avait de l’espace et pouvait autant profiter de la piscine que de la plage. Petit bémol si vous comptez rester sur place pour manger, les équipements du logement restent limités mais Aleksandros est disponible dès que besoin. Nous recommandons vivement le lieu !!!

The villa is a most beautiful place for a relaxed family vacation. Quiet, spacious and with all the amenities for a relaxed stay. The next town is nearby, only a few minutes away by car. The local support is excellent, very friendly, very responsive and alert. All in all, a very recommendable place.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were 4 adults, 1 toddler and 1 dog. We are very satisfied with the villa and would love to come back next year. The villa has a private pool and a private entrance to the beach. However, water at the beach was dirty most of the time and wasn’t really comfortable to swim there with a baby, also because of the rock bottom, so we were driving to different public beaches. You must have a car, because due to the weather conditions it wasn’t possible to us to walk anywhere near.

Despina was a very helpful and communicative host who responded to all questions very quickly. The apartment is situated in the hills with a view of the sea. Rethymno is an easy 10 minute car journey away. It was very nice to sit outside in the evening, on the patio next to the swimming pool, and watch the sunset and the sea. The private swimming pool is small but fine for a refreshing dip after a day of exploring. The kids liked it. The apartment is a good size and includes all the equipment you would find in your house (washing machine, oven, microwave, clothes iron...). This makes it very practical. Overall it was a comfortable place to stay and a convenient base from which to explore the area around Rethymno.

We had a great stay at the villa for a week during a shoulder period. The proximity of the villa to a fabulous cafe and restaurant was great, with only a short 100m walk to both. The villa is super comfortable and decorated tastefully. Nikos arranged a hire car to be dropped off and picked up from us at the villa which was so convenient. We had a late check in and arranged to find some sandwiches from the cafe in the fridge, a bowl of drukte, bottle of wine and biscuits - a very welcome surprise. This is a great option to come and stay even during the low season.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war sauber, gut ausgestattet und gemütlich eingerichtet, genau wie beschrieben. Die Lage war perfekt ruhig und dennoch nah an allen wichtigen Orten. Der Gastgeber war äußerst freundlich, reagierte schnell auf Nachrichten und gab tolle lokale Tipps. Besonders schön war die Aussicht, ideal zum Entspannen am Abend. Ich würde dieses Airbnb jedem empfehlen und komme gerne wieder!

Stella's home was absolutely stunning. Comfortable, beautiful decorated, and nestled in the hills overlooking stunning sea views. Stella's father met us upon check-in and we so appreciated all the personal touches. Stella also made every effort to accommodate us during the stay. Thanks again, and while I'm sorry we couldn't stay for the full time, I hope we can be back one day!

From day one the communication was excellent. Elizabeth responded to all messages promptly, & politely. The self check-in instructions were clear & easy to follow. The villa was spotless apon arrival, & we had some welcome treats which were very much appreciated. The bed was more comfortable than our one at home! The location, so near to the beach was amazing. The beach is sandy with crystal clear water. We were well informed of when the cleaners were coming in & Frosso (our contact in Crete) was absolutely lovely. We had a fantastic holiday & would highly recommend the villa. Note - the 3 bedrooms are set across 2 separate properties (upstairs & downstairs, with separate entrances). This was not an issue for us at all. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Superbe logement seul au monde, nous avons eu la chance d’être seul (il y a un appartement au dessus de la maison et des voisins sur le même étage) et c’était le paradis ! Des chèvres venaient nous saluer tous les matins et la plage est vraiment privée avec une super visibilité pour le snorkeling. Chemin de cailloux pour y accéder praticable même si cela fait un peu peur au début. Manque d’eau chaude le dernier jour mais sûrement du à la coupure de courant générale dans le village. C’est un endroit merveilleux que je recommande vivement !

What a great spacious apartment and even better location,.. and with a panoramic sea view from the spacious balcony/terrace. What more do you need? And chose Kalamaki over Matala (just visit) if you want to relax.

Wir haben sehr schöne vier Tage hier verbracht. Der Ausblick ist wirklich wunderschön und in 10 Minuten ist man zu Fuß bei einem Supermarkt. Vor dem Haus konnte man gut parken.

Kostas und Dimitra bereiteten uns einen sehr herzlichen Empfang. Die Traumvilla liegt in ruhiger Lage etwas außerhalb der Gemeinde Frankokastello. Unsere Wohnung im ersten Stock der Villa war sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Herrlich ist der Blick vom Balkon Richtung Süden auf das Meer und vom Schlafzimmer aus nach Norden auf die Weißen Berge. Im Ort selbst gibt es Supermärkte für den täglichen Bedarf. Bei Marias Bäckerei/Konditorei kann man frühstücken oder Brot und Gebäck für ein selbst zubereitetes Frühstück kaufen. Kostas und Dimitra sind äußerst liebevolle, hilfsbereite und herzliche Gastgeber bei denen man sich rasch als Familienmitglieder aufgenommen fühlt. Dimitra verwöhnte uns mit leckerem, selbstgebackenem Kuchen. Die süße Haustigerin MIra besuchte uns täglich und holte sich Leckerli und Streicheleinheiten ab. Besonders toll und angenehm ist der Pool um den sich Kostas täglich kümmert.Wir verbrachten dort eine wunderschöne Zeit. Nochmals vielen Dank.

Can't say enough good things about Yvonna and her home! I've never stayed so beachfront where the water was just a step away. It's super spacious, spotless and you feel right at home with all the generous amenities and supplies. Truly a hidden gem that anyone would be extremely lucky to stay at. Hope to come again with more loved ones to share this incredible experience with them!

Ce logement est parfaitement bien placé pour aller faire tous les points d’intérêt de la région de Rethymnon. La proximité avec la route n’est pas gênante car celui ci est extrêmement bien insonorisé et les chambres donnent sur un tres beau jardin (avec jeux enfant) et sur la mer. A noter que fin Octobre la zone est plus que calme donc on a le restaurant et la plage pour nous seul. Parking en bas de l’appart. Je recommande!

Nous avons été totalement ravis du logement et de ses équipements. Chose que je n'avais pas réalisé et qui est un poil dérangeant sont les fêtes à la piscine d'à côté deux fois par semaine. A part cela, tout est parfait. Les hôtes sont charmants et les deux propriétaires sont au petit soin. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation.

We stayed for a week as a group of three in this charming village, where the welcome was incredibly warm. The accommodation is a lovely house with a stunning view. The small pool was a real treat, especially for cooling off during the hot late afternoons. We felt as comfortable as we would at home. Nearby, you'll find three tavernas with friendly, helpful, and respectful staff. I highly recommend this accommodation, where you will be warmly welcomed and given excellent advice on beautiful places to explore.
