We had a lovely Easter weekend. Peaceful, loads of space inside and out and the pool was perfect on the hot days. Close to Greytown too for supermarket and local treats. Also Kate was great to communicate with. Friendly, prompt and helpful.

This place was perfect for our stay during my daughter's wedding. Its very private, offering peaceful atmosphere. The kitchen had everything needed and the entire place was clean and tidy. There was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. Its also conveniently located near the wedding venue, there are supermarkets and shopping areas nearby. Communication with the host, Jo, was easy and prompt if we needed anything. I would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home and super friendly owner (old man who lives nearby). Place dosent have pool or monopoly as per description but spa was beautiful and great value for money

we really enjoyed our time at the house, it had everything we needed for a relaxing night, especially the pool as it was a very warm day. a short drive to Masterson for supplies but a great spot to stargaze without light pollution. loved it, thank you Sarah ☺️

Kate’s space was lovely and suited our family perfectly. We enjoyed our stay and already plan to stay again the next time we visit the area. The space was well organised, clean and inviting. Thank you again for such a great experience.

a great spot with a flexible and helpful host. very easy to locate with lots of parking, big open rooms. we didn't require a 4th bed but it was a little awkward if we did considering it's in the hallway. maybe suitable for a child/family arrangement.

It was in a perfect location, close to the tennis courts and golf course, right on the beach. Lovely large areas to socialise and each family had a comfortable bedroom to stay-in. The house blew us away - even better than the photos! It's filled with hidden treasures we kept discovering throughout our stay. We couldn't stop marveling at its beauty as we explored. It's impeccably decorated to match its historic charm. The instructions provided were clear, and we had everything we needed. While we enjoyed exploring nearby towns like Greytown and visiting the Martinborough wineries, we were always eager to return and enjoy the house to the fullest. Thank you for sharing your home with us; it was a memorable experience we'll cherish forever. We hope to return someday!

Lovely home in a great location, not far to walk to the beach. Massive garden and home is fully stocked with games, puzzles etc. Fiona is always super responsive and helpful. Would definitely visit again.

Second time we have stayed here, well worth it and look forward to heading back again. Highly recommend this location to all interested in staying in Masterton.

Amazing stay and amazing weekend! Comfy beds, perfect spot to the beach, golf club and shop. Added bonus of a coffee machine and to top it all off we even got to bring the dog. We’ll be back. Thanks so much.

We had an exceptional family holiday here over Christmas. An extended family, with babies and elderly, all enjoyed themselves tremendously. We counted 22 bird species seen from the deck. The views of the Tararuas are great. The house is excellent, fully equipped with all the cooking gear needed. Thanks for a memorable stay!

Our family of two parents, two children and two grandparents loved the house. It was clean, spacious and contemporary, very comfortable beds, and with books, toys and games for us to enjoy, it had everything we needed to have a great Easter break. The packet of hot cross buns and butter waiting for us was much appreciated. We would love to go again. Highly recommended.

We loved this airbnb. The view was breathtaking. Kitchen was well set up and enjoyed the fireplace at night.

Great value for money 👍 We are a family of 6: 2 adults and 4 children and this was a comfortable place for us. Heaters in all the bedrooms and a heat pump in the lounge/living area. There were spare blankets/comforters in the hallway cupboard so although it was cold we all managed to keep nice and toasty. Fantastic location to explore the sights and surrounds of Masterton 🌟 Can vouch for the Thai Master Chef restaurant across the road - good kai!

Another reviewer has said if they could give it 10 stars instead of 5 they would have ! I completely agree. My wife and I were blown away with the spaciousness and the well equipped facilities of this beautiful home. The setting was just so beautiful, peaceful and quiet yet not too far away from the Masterton. It was extremely refreshing just to come home and relax. We had flown in from Australia to attend a family funeral of a very close relative so it was a challenging time ….but John and Robyn went out of their way to welcome us and make us feel at home, Robyn had even baked a beautiful zucchini cake for us which was thoroughly enjoyed along with a basket of goodies for our welcome. It may not have been a ‘holiday’ for us but without a doubt we were so beautifully looked after ! Thank you John and Robyn. The home was lovely, the price was wonderful for shared guests, the setting was perfect and your home is a ‘must do’ for a holiday here ! I simply cannot recommend it enough !

We had a really good time here, the place is really nice, the host is very friendly and responsive and we had a really good communication throughout our staying. Location is also great as it’s very close to both Greytown and Martinborough. The plants and trees surrounding the house are stunning and we were blessed with an amazing sunset. I would definitely recommend this place!

We had a lovely stay at Riversdale Beach. The house has a great view out to the ocean. Beds are comfy. Appreciated the hot cross buns and local coffee. Also nice there were books and toys for our daughter. Only small issue we had was that the wifi comes in and out but it's likely the location.
