Our family had a wonderful stay at this villa! The view was absolutely breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The staff were amazing—always attentive, friendly, and responsive to all our requests, including accommodating the needs of our toddler, which we greatly appreciated. A standout feature of our stay was the amazing cocktails! They were expertly crafted and added a special touch to our evenings as we enjoyed the stunning scenery. Additionally, the staff guided us to a beautiful local waterfall, where we had a fantastic time exploring and enjoying nature. It was a memorable highlight of our trip. The only area for improvement is the food. While it was decent, we’d love to see more fresh vegetables included in the menu to enhance the dining experience. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and we’d definitely recommend this villa for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat with top-notch hospitality, and opportunities to explore local beauty

A very beautiful apartment placed in a lovely serene area yet close to the attractions. It met out expectations and beyond. A very friendly check in and check out, homely place. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Nuwara Eliya. They even provide a heater for a decent price. All the amenities were maintained very well.

We stayed for 2 days and it was very comfort stay. The house is well decorated and equipped with all required amenities, the best part of the house was the glass shed in living room with chimney that has added the wonderful experience in the evening to chill out and relax, I would like to thanks to service staff they provided exceptional service and was just a call away. The caretaker family of Mark did wonderful job and the food they cooked was of best quality & taste. Overall value for money and worth spending time at this property.

Notre séjour dans cette tiny house était parfait. La cabine correspond en tout points au descriptif. La vue est magnifique, la piscine est chauffée, et le logement est absolument superbe. Dana est très réactif aux messages, et fait tout pour que le séjour se passe parfaitement bien, en se rendant disponible. Il nous a donné toutes les instructions dès l’arrivée. Pana est venue nous apporter notre dîner, et nous a allumé le poêle à bois pour avoir chaud. Le lendemain elle est venue nous apporter le petit déjeuner à l’heure que l’on souhaitait. Ils ont été des hôtes formidables. C’était l’un de nos plus beaux logements Merci à vous, j’espère pouvoir revenir un jour. 🫶🏻

Just incredible! We kept extending our stay! This is an absolute hidden gem of a place with views to die for. The cabin is so beautiful with huge windows and lovely character. The bed is so comfortable too. We had three very friendly dogs keep us company and the neighbours cat! Watching the storms from the upstairs window was incredible and seeing fireflies in the trees was so magical! Sidhu kindly ordered us local breakfast from town each morning and had it delivered to us. He is the most helpful host and always responds quickly. He really goes out of his way to help you and messages to check you’re ok and if you need anything each day. The cabin is truly a place to relax, unwind and you can spend so much time just staring at the view and watching the wildlife (birds, monkeys, frogs!) I would love to return someday. Vi var her bare 1 natt, men hadde et veldig fint opphold! Vi ble tatt svært godt vare på av verten, som ordnet frokost og skyss til togstasjonen. Anbefales om du ønsker litt luksus på reisen!

Every other five star I've given pales in comparison to this place! Highlight of our whole Sri Lankan trip. Breakfast and dinner were incredible, probably the best food we have eaten in Sri Lanka. The whole family was so friendly and helpful and Romeni and Grace even gave us a cooking demonstration. The hike through the cloud forest with Lal is also fantastic. The accommodation is very peaceful, we were sad to leave! Thankyou again.

We only stayed for one night with a group of 6 people. It was the perfect place for this quick stopover! The place was very clean and the beds were really comfortable! Don is a very nice host, he even arranged a car for us to get to the train station, since it was hard to get one because of the holidays!

We spent a delightful three days in this beautiful home, steeped in Sri Lankan history and tradition. The staff, headed by Pathi cooked us the most delicious meals, including meals where we sourced food from the local market. Pathi went out of his way to make us feel at home and completely pampered us. Not only is StonyHurst a perfect place to relax after the heat of the coast, it is a good springboard for visiting high tea estates, as well as playing golf at the course in Nuwara Eliya. We will cherish our memories from our stay.
