While the home is a small guest house, it was cozy and perfect for a weekend getaway. The property also has some chickens, goats, and peacocks which made it so unique and lovely to stay at! Especially considering the price, I couldn’t recommend it more!!!

Our host had a very cozy peaceful place on big bear lake. Fishing was fun. View was beautiful. Place was very clean and nice. Kristy was very responsive when there were any questions. Our son had a blast at the lake as well. Would highly recommend going stay out here.

We loved this little farm cabin for a weekend trip to Alabama. It was centrally located to access a lot of hiking and outdoor attractions, which is what we came to do. The house was clean and well-stocked to meet our needs. Also the farm and surrounding area was very picturesque and peaceful. I would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at the cabin on the bend was absolutely perfect. The space was incredibly clean, beautifully designed, and so peaceful..exactly what we were hoping for. We loved being tucked away in the woods, surrounded by nature, and the nearby lake was stunning. The isolation made it feel like a true escape. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed, and we can’t wait to come back!

Jennifer’s place was perfect. It exceeded our expectations . We just needed a place to pull off the interstate and sleep on our trip from Missouri to Florida but after we got there we didn’t want to leave.

Don't let the drive out there bother you, the reward is tremendous! This cottage is a wonderful place to relax and decompress! What a gorgeous location! This is where I will stay for now on in Haleyville!

This place was so beautiful and quiet! We loved staying here and Heather was amazing!! We accidentally locked ourselves out of the house and Heather was so quick to respond and come let us in! She was an amazing host and the home is so clean! This home is the perfect space to be in the quiet in beautiful scenery!

Loved everything about this place! The lake in the back makes the most soothing sounds with an amazing view. Private entrance & all the accommodations you would need. Host was super helpful and responsive. Definitely look forward to staying again when in the area!

If you are looking for a quiet cabin in the woods this is it!!! Clean and up to date with everything you need and nothing you don’t. It’s a short trip to town if you need anything but seems miles from anywhere while you are there. Chill out and fish in the pond or drive to some of the attractions close by. My wife and I will definitely be back . Not to mention communication with the host was fantastic!
