The cabin is a destination all on its own. Fish from the pier or banks on the privately managed eight-acre lake. There is a john boat which is quite old, uses paddles, and is in fair shape (feel free to bring your canoe or john boat.). A paddleboat and paddleboard are available for guest use and swimming. Enjoy walking the property and visit the onsite hoop house and orchard for free seasonal fruits and vegetables. Have fun by the outside fire pit roasting marshmallows with friends and family!

This cabin has 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms as well as a screened in porch overlooking a private lake. This 46 acre property has beautiful hiking trails, abundant wildlife, and lake for fishing or canoeing so guests can really enjoy the great outdoors! It's located just minutes off I-65 in Jemison, Alabama (Chilton County) centrally located between Birmingham and Montgomery.

Woodland Retreat Mushroom Farm

This is a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom private suite that sits on 14 acres. Enjoy the large back deck or walk around our mushroom yard where we grow Log-grown Shiitake Mushrooms. This private suite (meaning closed off) from the main house is surrounded by trees and wildlife. We offer a sitting area inside and out, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hot tea, wireless internet, and a large TV with free Netflix. We also offer authentic italian dinners and sides for purchase. Step back to Alabama's past. Historical Victorian style Thorsby Home. The Swan house. Built in the late 1800s, its like having an entire bed & breakfast to yourself! Enjoy a cup of hot chocolate, relaxing on one of the huge porches. Ruko TV. Neighborhood is safe and quiet. House sleeps 9, extra fee for more then 6 guest. Dish washing is old fashion way - by hand. The studio is located a mile from Newbern, along a main hwy 10 miles south of Greensboro, 20 east of Demopolis and 50 miles south of Tuscaloosa. The studio has brick floors and the interior wood walls and beams are from reclaimed barn wood. We want our guests to relax with a good cup of coffee, a great night's sleep and time to enjoy an Alabama sunset from the front porch chairs!

After a nice day on the golf course, a tiring day at 17 Springs Sports Complex, a fun day at the lake or a long day at Maxwell AFB this is the perfect type of scenery that you need to unwind and relax!
