HIGHLY RECOMMEND - We got it all - quiet, rest, privacy, and a spectacular view of Lake Michigan. We strolled the private beach, watched the sunrise, stargazed from the deck while enjoying the outdoor fireplace, and lounged in luxury inside the house. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. The picture windows provided stunning views of the lake. Bozena made sure that we had everything we needed to have an unforgettable stay. This is now our all-time favorite Airbnb location and we will be sure to return.

A beautiful home in a perfect location. The views and sounds of the lake take all life’s stresses away instantly. The fireplace added to the peace and tranquility. Good size kitchen with all the essentials for cook for my family. Spacious and comfortable seating around the house. My sons enjoyed the pinball machine and game table.

This was the best place for a little getaway before school started! My kids had a blast and didn’t want to leave! So much to do and JoAnn and her husband were amazing and we felt like forever friends when we left!! We absolutely will be back!!! We loved every second of our stay!!! 🩷🩷

Wonderfully thought out house. This was our second time staying here and still love it as much as the first time.

The house and location was great as it offered privacy and relaxation while still being close to town. This is a slice a heaven, we look forward to coming back to again.

Juliane's cottage on Lake Michigan is perfect if you're looking for a "small town getaway on a Great Lake," like our family was! The cottage is very comfy, while having a collected and curated aesthetic of modern and vintage amenities & furnishings. It has a large, flat yard great for playing and relaxing, along with a beautiful beach and easy (no stairs/cliffs) access. Our family of 6 found the space inside the cottage perfect. Kids enjoyed the bedrooms & bath upstairs...the spiral staircase almost made it feel like they were sneaking off to a hideaway/fort! We loved waking on the main floor to sunrises over Lake Michigan (visible from bed) and hot coffee just steps away in the kitchen. Dining nearby includes wonderful restaurants, amazing meat & chjeese markets, Friday Fish Fry and more. Plenty of nature is right out your door to explore Juliane was very responsive before and during our stay. She was especially understanding regarding a mistake I'd made about our reservation.

Amanda’s home was wonderful. Super neat, clean and inviting. We loved the sound of the waves from Lake Michigan and had fun walking on the beach. The setting was peaceful, inviting and welcoming. The primary en-suite with its own bathroom was a huge bonus. Kitchen was nicely stocked. Tons of games for children too. Fire pit area with chairs was on a bluff overlooking the lake, so beautiful. This is a hidden gem and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend. Hosts were also terrific and patient with our questions about local restaurants and delicious places to try.

What an awesome "Red Barn" home. Very neat and clean. Inside was updated very nice as well. Plenty of space and bedrooms for a large family. We were there for a funeral over the weekend. Holli and Terry were very good with checking in with me before our stay and while we were on our stay. Very accommodating and responsive to any call or changes. Holli was super awesome with getting the arrangements to get the parking lot/drive way plowed. Snowed pretty good the weekend we were there and they were right on it with getting the parking space cleaned up upon arrival and throughout the weekend. Definitely will have to be back in the summer as it looked like a great place to enjoy the outdoors.

This is our third stay at Annie and Joe's, and it never disappoints. Clean, comfy, a sun porch to relax on, a nice yard for the dogs to run around, and literally steps to the beach (which has an entire dog friendly section). Really the perfect lake house!
