We enjoyed our stay at the Firefly Cottage. Everything was perfect and the view of the lake is beautiful. We hope to stay next year for our granddaughter’s birthday.

We had such an amazing time at the cottage! We loved the shallow water for the littles and not having to pack beach toys/accessories. The house was well laid out with plenty of space and perfect for a long weekend on the lake. Best of all, Kraig and Suzy were super communicative and we felt very welcome.

This place was awesome. Lots of space in the living room and dining area. Outside space was spectacular, dining area, fire pit and dock. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful and peaceful location! The view, the space, the sleeping capacity and flexibility and the offered amenities within the price point cannot be matched. Would definitely rebook and recommend. Not only just one well stocked kitchen, but two could not be beat! Loved the large dining table in which became the focal point!

We absolutely loved our stay. The home is inviting and tastefully decorated. The beds were really comfortable too! Watching the sunset on the lake was breathtaking. We will definitely return to enjoy in the summer.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl und zuhause gefühlt in diesem schönen Haus. Die Sicht auf den See ist wunderbar! Alles ist da, auch das Badezimmer ist super ausgestattet mit allem, was es braucht. Das Wetter war kalt, aber wir konnten das Haus gut heizen. Gerne wieder!

Nice and quiet. Jesse was very responsive and polite. Would like to come back in the summer sometime and be able to enjoy the water.

Absolutely loved our stay here. All of the amenities were so forward-thinking, meeting our every need. Cozy, beautiful, peaceful—the whole package. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I picked Patricia’s place because of the fun game room she had downstairs-and I’m sure glad we did! Our family of 6 had a wonderful time playing pool, air hockey, shuffle board, ping pong and PINBALL!!! There was also a nice quiet study room upstairs where the kids could still participate in their online classes without missing a beat. Every space was so beautifully decorated and spacious it really felt peaceful. We were visiting in the winter so the cozy propane fireplace was a hit as well. I’d definitely recommend staying here!

Great place to stay. Nice friendly neighborhood and the house is very cozy. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay around Brooklyn.

We couldn’t have asked for a better week at this house! The house was perfect, right on the lake and easy to find. It was clean and had everything we needed. The pedal boat was a huge hit with the kids, and the view of the lake from inside the home was so peaceful. We definitely recommend this house when visiting Michigan. It was a short drive to Ann Arbor and Brooklyn was a nice town to explore as well. We would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing stay at the Wonderland house! The whole house is so beautifully decorated with Alice in Wonderland details. I loved the colors and chessboard patterns. The house is immaculately clean and up-to-date. The bed is so comfortable! The view outside is one of the best I have seen- during sunset, the sky was blazing with oranges and pinks. It was magical. We had fun making a fire in the firepit and roasting marshmallows. Perfect for the cold weather! We bundled up and sat outside enjoying the sunset. The game room was so comfortable and cozy, and our favorite part: the nuggies ice maker! We will definitely come back to stay in the summer, and possibly every season. This house is worth every penny!

Cecilia is a responsive, helpful, gracious host, and her accommodation is the finest I have enjoyed in Hillsdale. The townhouse is not only lovely and beautifully appointed, but also spotless. We loved staying at Joannes! The house was very clean and cozy. The house was stocked with everything you may need while away from home and more. I loved that they had chargers! So handy! We were in town for a hiking event and plan to attend every spring and we hope to be able to book with Joanne again. The hot tub was extra nice after we hiked 22 miles at Waterloo. We loved looking out into the River. I've stayed at several Air BNBs and Joannes place was perfect.

I stayed at the cottage on Nettle Lake with four friends for our semiannual board game weekend and reunion. The cottage was very clean (we even joked that we might be the first people to ever stay there!) The kitchen was well-stocked. Some stand-out features were the beautiful sunroom with windows on three sides facing the lake and the great fire pit with a nice paved area around it for hanging out in the evening. There was even some firewood left for us to use. The beds and pillows were all very comfortable. It was the perfect place to enjoy time with friends and take some walks on the nearby county roads. The host was amazing, responding right away to text messages and accommodating all our requests cheerfully. If you're looking for nature immersion, it might not be for you, as there are many other houses close by, but if you're looking for a cute, cozy lake cottage with great hosts, I highly recommend it.

We love the cottage and all it has to offer. We had everything we needed. There was plenty of space… beautiful views, and we really enjoyed our time there with the family. We love Long Lake and plan to return as soon as we are able.

Lovely home and we were completely made to feel very welcome! Everything we could have needed was already provided. Nice welcome binder with lots of helpful information, very friendly and responsive host, comfortable beds and lovely decor. Loved the pond as well as the loaded games, pool table, foos ball table and more. Within minutes of plenty of wonderful things to do. AAAA++++ and highly recommend!

We would like to thank to the host, we really enjoyed staying over there. The house is beautiful and perfectly located on lake. We had all the stuff inside in a house, so you don’t need to worry that essentials won’t be there. Owner replied to our questions really fast, and gave us all the answers we needed. We have been pleased at staying over there, and I would highly recommend this house.
