We visited here with our 3 month old and it was fantastic, well appointed & equipped place. It was tastefully decorated & had a calm atmosphere, it was more roomy than we expected which was great. 10 mins walk to beach, beautiful view over golf course & estuary. Great experience would recommend!! And definitely stay again!

This was a top 3 Airbnb experience - and we’ve been to a lot of Airbnbs! Everything was immaculate and tastefully / uniquely decorated. Things that stood out: GREAT linens - this went from bedsheets to towels to dish towels. And Sheenah thought of every little detail - the unit has everything we needed and more. She also left thoughtful surprises like a little jar of local honey. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! We’d love to come back!

we enjoyed our stay at Frances Mary’s place. It is a handy location and walkable into town if the weather is kind. It wasn't kind for us. We loved all the little niknaks. The kitchen was well equipped. We would recommend this place for any couple wishing to stay at Whangarei.

We had a very warm welcome by Dianne & David. Super nice people, very clean and modern apartment, very comfortable bed,, fantastic view, right at the beach. We found not only breakfast and coffee capsules & milk but a very good bottle of wine in the fridge that they provided for us. The house is the prettiest in the street, the apartment a perfect place to stay. We would definitely come back. Thank you for everything Dianne & David!!

A wonderful place! Very clean and tidy 👍 The house is located in a secluded area - very quiet and beautiful. Incredible views of the local fields and an old church. A big thank to the hosts for their warm and sincere hospitality. They provided everything needed for a full breakfast - including fresh feijoa! 😋 We highly recommend this lovely place for a peaceful and cozy stay! 🙌

What a nice place! Absolutely perfect for what we needed, and we were very thankful that we could check-out a few hours later the day we were leaving (no one was checking in after us), since we were walking (Te Araroa) and the weather wasn't great with strong winds and lots of rain in the morning. We had a great 3 night stay as a 2x couple group. It was great having a bathroom ensuite for each bedroom and also a toilet on the ground floor. Maybe shampoo & conditioner would be useful. The kitchen was well equipped. We did have 2 vehicles so had to park one across the road on the road for the duration of our stay. Location was excellent - walking distance to the Saturday Markets, Restaurants & cafés. Dined at The Rusty Pelican, the Matakana Pub Restaurant & Tram Car Takeaways. The Movie Theatre is iconic too. Had a great evening there - also walkable.

Pacific Rendezvous is a great place to stay on the Tutukaka coast. It's within a short distance of the marina, restaurants, other facilities, and fabulous beaches. The resort has private beaches and lots of activities, such as tennis and a playground. The staff are friendly, warm, and accommodating of guest needs.

Great place and host，will come back if visiting tutukaka again.

Lovely apartment, looks much nicer in person than in the photos. The main bedroom upstairs with the ensuite has beautiful views. Our kids loved the pools, the big pool is now salt water and not as hot as described but this was perfect for the kids. Would stay again!

This was our second stay visiting family who live nearby. The property is very convenient and only a short walk to Long Bay village, which has great amenities, and the lovely Long Bay beach.

our 5 night stay in this apartment was lovely, the beach is two minutes away and it's stunning, it's quiet and the place has everything you need from comfy couch to spacious kitchen to cook healthy meals !

Truly excellent stay, Ian and Sue were lovely and the apartment so comfy and clean. We can’t wait to stay there again. Definitely do not miss the sunrise and the hidden beach!

Perfect location with unobstructed views of Snells Beach water - assisted by sliding fence and retractable dog screen! Host on site residing quietly above and very respectful of apartment privacy! - availability assisted with small access issue. A lovely cosy apartment - great for peaceful R & R! - all necessary facilities available!

It was my first family holiday since 2017. The AirBnB was a new experience for me, but the hosts were respectful and their place was wonderful! I was able to bring our 2 x dogs which was great and I took them for a walk every morning, greeting others with their dogs on the way. My adult children loved being able to hang out at the beach and sit in the hot tub or use the kayaks on offer. My husband unfortunately worked every day but was able to enjoy to peace and quiet at night. Having a washing machine was practical and saved my workload when we returned home. We visited Charlies Gelato which was yum and I was able to purchase some beautiful wine from Brick Bay vineyard. Matakana was disappointing it felt like Auckland with long lines of traffic and expensive products however, the lady at Honest Chocolate was lovely. We fished off Scotts Landing and caught 5 legal snapper. All in all, I would highly recommend this AirBnB, absolutely the best holiday in a very long time. Thank you.
