From the moment you enter this cottage, you are transported to a place of unbelievable tranquility and calm. The view of the ocean greets you like a soothing hug, and you immediately know you’ve entered a very special place. The house was beautifully appointed with everything you could need or want. It was super clean and tidy, uncluttered but cozy. Whether you sat on the deck or cuddled up in a warm blanket in the window nook, the ocean views kept calling to us to take another look. We even cancelled dinner reservations and decided to cook at the house so that we could drink in more of this wondrous coastline. There was a well-stocked market not too far where we could get provisions. There is also a private beach access for those who like to wander in the sand. If you are looking for one of the best seaside experiences of your life, do not scroll by this beautiful cottage. It went way beyond any of our expectations, and I’m sure it won’t disappoint you either.

The kids absolutely loved the river and the badminton layout. Perfect place to escape the city and go "touch grass" for a few days!! the window layout of the place was really well designed too for a bright view into their beautiful garden

The location, the view, the outdoor sitting area, the hike to the beach, and the hike around the huge property were all wonderful and we'd go there again. It was isolated, a long ways from any other home, and far off the highway for silent peace with just the sound of the waves. The home was unique and we'd stay there again!

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at your home. The house was well appointed and had everything that we needed/wanted. The setting was gorgeous. We loved getting to view wildlife right from the house and take in the beautiful views. The host was very responsive and sent helpful messages with information in anticipation to our arrival and departure. We definitely look forward to returning!

What a wonderful place and a pleasure to stay. Cheryl and Hobart were great hosts - super responsive, friendly and helpful with local recommendations. The property was actually BETTER than the photos, which is saying a lot! If you enjoy the rocky northern California coastline and churning waves, then this location just simply cannot be beat. The beach right below the property and to the south is easily accessible and one of the few in the area that are dog friendly. The house itself is charming and comfortable, while the outdoor area is breathtaking. We can’t wait to stay here again.

Beautiful location right on the coast. Wonderful views from the deck and hot tub. You didn’t need to leave the property feel like you were on vacation.

We are in love with this neighborhood, the kids loved having their own upstairs space, the neighbors are so welcoming and knowledgeable, the yard was perfect for our dogs, the scenery with ocean views and wildlife frolicking about it unreal, and we absolutely love Ft Bragg including the botanical gardens and bakery within a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive. We hope to be back another time!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Kevin’s place and it won’t be the last! Perfect location next to the lodge (walkable for meals and drinks) but completely private and very well equipped to never leave if you don’t want to!

Lovely home and huge! They had a good stereo but didn’t have the right connections for our phones, and had no way to listen to music. Vacasa office told us that we didn’t need to pick up the packet- which we appreciated because we were late - but then we discovered we had to have parking passes or they would boot our car until we paid cash for the fine. Would be easier to put parking passes in the house.

Beautiful home perfectly situated on a quiet cul-de-sac. Gorgeous ocean views with a lovely deck with dining table and outdoor seating area with gas fireplace. Spacious kitchen and living room - plenty of space for our family with two young kids.

Wow! This home has an exceptional setting - the spectacular views of the ocean from the great room are mesmerizing. The master bedroom and lower level bedrooms all have gorgeous views of the ocean as well. The Ocean Bluff Trail passes right behind the house, making it so convenient to explore the coast. Great for nature lovers - we saw seals, deer, rabbits, fox, and many varieties of sea birds. Also the home is pet friendly and our dog loved it! Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Such an amazing stay and visit! We had an extremely relaxing a peaceful stay at Sea Ranch. The house is so welcoming and stocked with anything you could need. Everything is so thoughtful, and well appointed, you feel like you are at home. We loved all the little details about this place that is such a treasure and clearly so loved. We saw so many animals, and could easily walk to the beach. You can hear the Ocean from your window and enjoy your coffee in the morning watching the ocean. Honestly, Nate and Nora’s place is our new favorite at sea ranch. Hosts are so nice and quick to respond. We had a lovely time relaxing, and being out in nature. Thank you both so much, we only have good things to say, thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

Beautiful and super clean house in the magical woods. We loved the window seats everywhere and watching the deer visit every day. The beds are very comfy and towels plush. We enjoyed the sauna and hot tub under the stars. Some aspects of the house are a little more rustic than modern, but still very comfortable and cozy. The owner is super responsive and thoughtful and obviously cares a lot about her home.

Had a wonderful stay at Willa and Craig's home. The house is beautiful and had plenty of space to spread out. The loft was a hit with our five year old. Location is great, roughly five minute drive to Gualala and a short walk to the beach. Would stay again!

Absolutely stunning views. Marlene’s place is a peaceful oasis in the Bodega Bay area. Marlene is a great host and very responsive. One of the best parts of my stay was the amazing hiking trails and beach access just a few steps outside the front door!

Hollys Meadow is beyond compare…absolutely magical! Our extended family of 9 bonded with the unique experiences of fishing in the private alcove of beach, bonfires, and roaming and relaxing in the extensive and beautifully landscaped grounds! The house is great for a group, offering a great layout for privacy in baths and bedrooms,, and gathering areas. We loved cooking in the open kitchen with the huge island prep area with seating for easy community The house is immaculate, excellently stocked for dinner preps and serving options. The bedding is comfy and the laundry room appreciated There are no words to express our gratitude to Holly for offering this beautiful venue. Our family made many cherished memories at her amazing place! We will definitely seek Hollys Meadow for our next trip to Ft Bragg!

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer’s place. It was serene, green and peaceful. It was a cosy log cabin with the feel of yesterday years with its vintage gadgets. Our overall stay was absolutely amazing — we couldn’t have asked for a better place. We brought our little ones with us, and ever since the trip, they’ve been begging to go back. The kitchen was perfect for cooking, the views were breathtaking, and we will definitely be returning!

Loved our stay and the house was fantastic, the couches and chairs in the common areas were very uncomfortable and I wish there was an outdoor relaxing/ eating space. The views and beach access were amazing.

We had the best time at Charlie’s home and made some great memories! The home was super spacious, clean, and had all the amenities needed. We especially loved how the natural light flowed into the kitchen and dining room. The views of the river and redwood trees was so breathtaking. We were in Fort Bragg for a very special weekend and Karyn's home took our celebration to the next level. It's beautiful, warm and homey. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you may need. The fire pit, view, deck, comfortable beds .. it is truly the perfect setting and heals the soul. Karyn is amazing! Very responsive and kind. Ultimate host! My family and I decided that we are going to make this trip again and will only stay here. If you are thinking of vacationing here, don't second guess it...Do it!!!!
