A lovely quiet setting overlooking the marina and rural views on the other side were great. The studio was fully equipped and cosy and lovely fruit treats and breakfast were amazing. Mel was great with communication and directions and her studio is very handy to town. A great place to stay.

beautiful tiny house in beautiful surrounds. we came for the wellington anniversary weekend and it was a great location for a minibreak. the view of the night sky from the garden was fantastic. lauren was very helpful and the property had a lot of nice little touches

The place is totally beautiful and suitable for a nice getaway from a busy city life. It’s peaceful and plenty of outdoor chilling area. The interior is tastefully decorated with personal touches. And Dale is so lovely to communicate throughout and understanding of our sudden change of situation. It’s hard to find such lovely hosts in Airbnb sometimes, so we are lucky to have met her!

I had an amazing stay at Kristy’s cozy tiny house! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the lake, which made it even more special. Her dog, Maze, was an absolute delight – playful and friendly, making my time there even more enjoyable. Kristy herself was a wonderful host, taking the time to have a great conversation that made me feel right at home. She truly goes above and beyond – definitely superhost worthy! I’d love to come back again!

Tim’s cabin is located on beautiful private grounds of gardens and paddocks with views of the volcanoes. The cabin is very well decorated (cabin style) and appointed (Everything works). Tim makes you feel welcome and attends to your every needs. He even brought us some tomatoes and herbs from his garden. Delicious! Native birds are your alarm clock. You have to try the bush bathtub overlooking the area. A really cool and imaginative setup. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!

Lovely place not far from the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. The neighbourhood was very quiet. Clare was very helpful.

Fantastic hidden spot. Beautifully designed and private guest house. Accurate description of the house and clear instructions provided for access. I would absolutely recommend this venue for anyone wanting accommodation in the village. The spa pool was a glorious indulgence needed after our hike across the Tongariro crossing. The house was very close to the shuttle drop off point which was a bonus! Thanks again Megan for the stay x

Dawn is a super star host. The space was beautiful, and every detail was thoughful. My daughter was very eager to look around and Dawn was so sweet and took her on a tour. Not one complaint could be made, although my daughter would say there was, she only wished we were staying longer! Thanks again!

It was a delight to stay here, from the orchards, to the goats, to the home baking and the lovely tiny home itself. It has everything you need, is comfortable and homely. We would love to stay again!

A very nice and quiet accommodation. We liked it very much and we can definitely recommend it.

This is a lovely little tinyhome, it felt very private and peaceful, sitting in it's own meadow. The full kitchen facilities with decent sized fridge were a bonus for someone like me who cooks from scratch. The bathroom is on the small size but goes with the overall theme.

I love this place! It's perfect if you are doing through and need a place to stay or if (like me) you want to visit the area but have a peaceful private end to your day. It's quiet here, green and with no TV you get to actually spend time together.

Natalie had thought of everything we would need, and was very accommodating of out dog which sleeps in our ute. Our one night stay felt easy, hassle free, with just what we needed for a light breakfast. I would definitely recommend staying here and will stay again if passing through Bulls.

Unique space with everything you need

If you want to get away from it all but still enjoy being indulged this is definetly the place. You won't get better hosts than Sheryl and Warren.

This is the quintessential Kiwi bach with a bonus trampoline for the kids and a volleyball net for everyone! We enjoyed the generous outside living space, and there is a covered outside deck for our family dog to stay. The home had everything we needed, was very clean and tidy, and the beds were comfortable. Great location, only a 2-minute drive to the beach, and to the forest for walking and biking tracks. Supermarket is about an 8-minute drive into Foxton.

We loved our stay. The place is so beautiful and peaceful. We brought our little dogs and they enjoyed sniffing around the lake. The cabin is cosy, the bed is comfortable and we slept so well. We took our ebikes with us and went for a ride through the farm with the dogs in backpacks, it is quite challenging terrain, even on ebikes but worth the views! We'd come again.

Really lovely place! We wish we could have stayed here longer. Unfortunately we checked in late and had to leave early (due to our poor planning). So we recommend guests try to maximise their time here to fully wind down and recharge. The cabin was beautiful and gives you an opportunity to disconnect. We took the opportunity to use the candle light only (you can still use power if you need to, but we chose to immerse ourselves fully in the experience). The outdoor bath was a great addition, and we enjoyed being able to use the fireplace for extra ambiance. Oh and if it is a clear night -you can enjoy all of the stars. Definitely recommend!

Louise is a fantastic host, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Louise provided clear instructions, was flexible to our arrival time, provided great local recommendations and made us feel very welcome. The location is lovely and quiet, a short drive to Napier or Hastings. The space is warm and comfortable, everything was tidy and very clean. The bed is comfortable and the space feels homely. Thank you for having us, the dogs were awesome too!
