David was very easy to work with an accommodating for an early check in. The house was clean upon arrival and steps from the beach. This is a perfect house for a small family get away.

This place is amazing! If you are looking for an affordable house ON THE BEACH with LOTS of beds then this is your place! It’s not state of the art or completely upgraded, but it is so cozy. We were there with 5 small children and 6 adults and we were never in each others way. The beach itself is beautiful and the outdoor shower is a perfect addition to this beach get away. There are lots of amenities provided so don’t stress! Towels, shampoo, conditioner, trash bags, toilet paper, beach chairs, beach loungers, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, hand soap, outdoor shower, hose, grill with gas hook up, bedding, blender, coffee maker, 2 microwaves, 2 ovens…so much! Bring some WD 40 for the tar you might get on your feet and make sure you put the trash cans out ON SUNDAY NIGHT! The trash man comes EARLY Monday morning. The recycle only gets picked up every other Monday so don’t stress if it doesn’t get emptied…the schedule is on the fridge. Also, the knives are TERRIBLE! If you like to cook you might want to bring a few of your own. I hesitate to leave a good review because we plan to return and I don’t want it to be unavailable but it is awesome!!! Communicate early with TREE if you have questions. They will get back to you but not right away. We would just call the number and send a message on the app and they would eventually get back to us. Enjoy your stay! Check all of the drawers before you leave. There are tons of dressers and it’s easy to leave things behind.

Was a great place and Donovan and Gretchen were great. They were quick to communicate and super friendly. I would stay here again and recommend this place to others.

visiting a friend in Oxnard. We were lucky enough to find Kristi's Beach Bungalow. what a cute and well decorated cottage! The outside living areas truly complimented to cozy comfy interior. Even Better it is only .9 miles from the Rudder room, as me how I know. 🙂

We loved our stay at Kyle’s place in Malibu. It was in the perfect location, so close to the beaches and everything we wanted to do. The unit was updated, clean and had everything we needed. We would love to stay here again!

Location right in the middle of everything. Easily walkable to shops and restaurants. A minute to the boards and beach. Nice to have an off street parking spot.

I had the most amazing time staying at Jenny's beach cottage for a long weekend in April. I traveled solo to Ventura and fell in love with the Merry Mermaid and the community. The property is a very short walk to the beach, on a quiet street with friendly neighbors. I loved opening the windows and half door in the cottage to let in the ocean breeze while I worked and cooked. The kitchen was well stocked, and it was just a quick ~5-10 minute drive to Ventura's main street with shops, restaurants, and breweries. Jenny had lots of fantastic local recommendations, which I really appreciated as a first-time visitor to the area. I watched sunsets on the beach with supplies from Surf Liquor (right down the road, super friendly staff) and strolled through the neighborhood to the market, grocery store, and state park; I really enjoyed all of the beautiful yards and gardens along the way. I would absolutely stay at Jenny's place again and recommend it to all of my family and friends!

We had a fantastic experience staying at Paul’s home. From start to finish, Paul was an exceptional host; responsive, helpful, and incredibly thoughtful. He offered great local recommendations for our family around Huntington Beach, and when we had a last-minute schedule change, he handled it with empathy and flexibility. Paul was gracious in every way, and it’s clear he takes pride in providing a welcoming and respectful experience for his guests. I would gladly stay at any of Paul’s properties again and recommend them without hesitation. He’s a host of true integrity.

We absolutely loved our stay at Donna’s place! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything in the space felt thoughtful and well put together. It had all the little touches that made it feel like home. The location couldn’t have been better — an easy walk to the beach and tons of great spots to eat nearby. One of our favorite parts of the trip was riding the beach cruisers along the boardwalk down to the pier. It was such a fun and relaxing way to take in the area. Definitely a 5-star stay. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

What an incredible place!!! Wonderful walkable location. Absolutely adorable decor, and fantastic, friendly hosts. This the a perfect Santa Monica stay close tot he water and Montana Avenue. We knew the area well and am so glad to have discovered Wendy’s place. We came in late at night and had no problem following directions and getting in. A beautiful welcome amenity was waiting for us. Great local recommendations and beautiful and clean over garage apartment. Very comfy beds too! We would not hesitate to book again.

This is where you go to reset. To getaway and get a glimpse of the beauty of nature right here in CA. Me and my partner could not help but just soak and relax every day. Getting out to the cute creekside restaurant and coffee shop that is only about a 4min drive each was a struggle because of how peaceful this place was. The amenities are amazing, you must use the sauna as it feels like a retreat and total mind body spirit reset. You definitely need a car to access this place but it is well worth it as the drive in the canyon is its own beautiful experience. Thank you for the lovely stay!

great little spot close to so many things, restaurants local shopping, Farmers markets, grocery stores, gas stations you name it. it's there. the place had all the things we needed for the time we were there.

Perfect location for us as we have friends in the neighborhood. The little house is beautifully kept and the extra treats from the hosts were so special. Would love to come back when I am in LA.

Had a fantastic time and loved the wood and old school vibe. great location on Balboa. would stay here again in a heartbeat. lots of nice touches for our family that enhanced the experience!
