Our stay at Tomgetti Lodge in Dinokeng was incredible—perfect for a group of nine friends looking for relaxation and privacy. It felt like we had the entire reserve to ourselves, offering unmatched tranquility. A standout was Fikile, the amazing chef, whose delicious meals added so much to our experience. The rooms were beautifully appointed, spacious, and most had en-suite bathrooms, making it ideal for a group. The beds and linens were luxurious, ensuring perfect comfort. A minor suggestion would be to replace the kids' room beds with at least a double bed for better sharing among friends. Also, the directions could be clearer, though the welcome pack helped. Dinokeng itself is a stunning destination, and Tomgetti Lodge is a place we’d highly recommend and gladly visit again!

We had a fantastic stay at Boskoors 1, 2 and 3 in the heart of Dinokeng Game Reserve, traveling as a group of six adults and three kids. Each accommodation was thoughtfully designed—comfortable, well-equipped, and perfect for unwinding in nature. A special thank you to Johanna, Gerda and their team for their warm hospitality and attentive service throughout our stay. Everything was spotless and well-prepared, making it easy to settle in and enjoy. The outdoor showers and baths were a definite highlight—what a treat to enjoy them under the open sky! We also loved the communal braai and fire pit areas, which made for perfect evenings of good food and great conversation around the fire. The off-the-grid, remote feel was exactly what we were looking for—peaceful, secluded, and a true escape from the city. Highly recommend this special spot for groups or families wanting a comfortable, well-run bush getaway!

Our arrival was unfortunately delayed by a couple of hours due to a flat tyre, but the host was incredibly understanding and friendly. They even came out to the gate to greet us, which was so thoughtful! The property itself is fantastic, there is a huge play and braai area. We also really appreciated the very well-stocked kitchen, which even included plastic spoons and cups specifically for little ones. The entire place felt very private and peaceful, making for a truly relaxing stay.

Absolutely beautiful location. So private. So peaceful. We love this spot and will be back again. Thank you for an amazing stay!

This was the 7th time our drivers stayed with Hannes. They just love this accommodation and always ask me ahead of time if I booked in time. its a wonderful place with even more Amazing hosts. They make our staff feel very welcome. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Caroline was very friendly and responsive. The staff are amazing. From the moment we checked in Corne welcomed us at the gate to drive us to our camp. We were spoiled with cleaning every morning and Thomson coming over to Bottero offering to build us a fire for a braai. On the cooler wet day Thomson built us a cozy fire inside and we spent the day watching movies and reading. The linen and bedding is a dream to sleep in. Wifi is a massive bonus.

The most gracious and thoughtful host. Everything you need is there and the caretaker and his family made us feel at home. Great game farm vibe with wifi and tv, all loadshedding provisions such as spotlights and battery-powered back up. The garden is well-taken care of, the images on the listing don’t do it justice. Lots of game to be spotted as well, including giraffes, which was the highlight of our stay. 10/10 highly recommend because overall it’s great value for money
