Beautiful, homey, and walkable to ALL the Highlands have to offer. Perfect stay!

We love the location and we loved the rental itself. The only negative was that you have to climb a steep flight of stairs and you are right next to gas stations garbage containers that are not very appealing. Other than that, we would stay here again but maybe on the apartment on the other side.

Don and Renie are top notch hosts! They have thought of everything to make your stay perfect-snacks, drinks, comfortable mattresses, ample towels, games, and even a frozen pizza in the fridge! Their mountaintop rental has a beautiful view of WCU campus with comfortable outdoor spaces for soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Don has excellent local recommendations and is a great source of information regarding Western Carolina University. We felt so incredibly welcome! We’ll be back!

If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay in a peaceful location close to downtown Franklin, look no further! Up a quaint, winding road, nestled in the trees is a wonderful two bedroom ground level apartment waiting just for you. Once you arrive you will be warmly greeted by your hosts Dave, Barb & Beans who are always available but never intrusive. Their view is wonderful! The property exactly as described. You Can’t ask for more! And I can’t wait to go back!

Stayed at Lisa’s for the start of a weekend on the AT. I had to book last minute and it still worked smoothly. I would totally stay here again. Spacious and a lovely kitty that said hello too :)

Great place, beautiful view. Kitchen was well stocked and is a good stay for a long weekend. Easy to find and downtown Franklin has good restaurants and breweries. Plenty of trails nearby

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Appreciated the small refrigerator and Keurig with pods. Clean bathroom with an exhaust fan. Plenty of closet and dresser space. I was very appreciative for the make up desk and mirror. We were in Highlands for a wedding and it was so convenient to have a place to sit and get ready! We had our morning coffee on the outside patio looking at the mountains.

This is a fantastic house and an even greater place to stay. if you like seclusion this is the place for you. absolutely loved my time stay at this house. would definitely book again

I absolutely loved my stay at this charming little house! From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The space is thoughtfully decorated, very clean, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Both rooms are cozy and quiet, perfect for a good night's sleep or just relaxing with a book. The living area and kitchen are well-equipped, and the natural light throughout the house creates such a peaceful atmosphere. It was the ideal place to unwind after exploring the area. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, offering great local tips and making sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing stay. Whether you're traveling solo, as a couple, or with a small family, this house is a little gem. I'd love to come back again soon!

We loved so much about this stay! View is wonderful and the porch is comfortable to sit and relax. Bald eagle spotted on Day 1. We enjoyed the fireplace!! Tom and Carol are wonderful hosts and went above and beyond expectations. They even replaced the grill in case we wanted to use it. The place is a lot bigger and spread out than I imagined. They have everythingyou need. Some fyi things ....they have robes to use if you wish (one less thing to pack!), the shower is adequate but small and has an overhead spray so if you don't want to wash your hair, bring a shower cap. Someone previously mentioned no windows in the bedroom.... but I loved how this made it completely dark, so no need to bring an eye mask. It was so nice to sleep in! 🙂 We loved our stay, as well as the hosts and would stay again. Thank you gracious hosts for the 5 star experience!!

This was by far the cleanest place I have ever stayed at! Everything about my stay was amazing! If you want to stay at a beautiful place with great views, I would highly recommend booking with Suzanne!

Mike’s place was the perfect little getaway for my husband, dog and I for our baby moon. Mike is very friendly and greeted us as we arrived and ensured we knew where everything was with a smooth check in. We loved the neighborhood the place is in and is close to the Rhododendron trail, which leads into town. We would def come back and stay.

Belinda and Ben were great host! The home met our needs as we were waiting to close on our home. The space worked well for my husband who was working remotely and also for the visiting grand kids. The home is simple bbut had everything we needed.

Our second stay at Debi's beautiful b&b was great! We're grateful for her and her space, sharing the nature and peace with us. Can't wait to return for a third time :)

Chris was very nice and communicative during our stay. My partner loved the place and so did I, especially the hot tub. Would highly recommend as a place to stay if you are in the area looking to check out what’s there. The waterfalls are beautiful!
