This quant little cabin was everything I had hoped for! Heather was extremely hospitable and aimed to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The cabin was very easy to find, with helpful instructions from Heather. Upon my arrival, She personally introduced herself to me which I sincerely appreciated! The hot tub was beautiful, and private which added to the peacefulness of my stay. The location of the cabin is very convenient, only 10 min from beautiful Mahone Bay. I would most definitely stay at farm again! Thanks again for everything, Heather!

Absolutely perfect is how I would describe Kristine's place. Nestled in an ocean cove, the boathouse is clean, bright and extremely cozy. The woodstove was nice for the cool nights. Amazing views and access to the water. I didn't use the kayaks but I walked the beautiful trail at Graves Island Park which is a one minute drive from the boathouse. Grocery shopping is a few minutes drive to Chester. Easy driving distance to Lunenburg, Bridgewater and South Shore beaches. I let Kristine know ahead of time that I was towing a utility trailer and she made arrangements for me to park it at a nearby property. Thank you Kristine! Great host, great stay, great area. I did not want to leave but I will be back!

Our second summer stay was just as wonderful as the first. More familiar this time, so the whole family felt right at home. Chris was once again very warm and welcoming in his communications. Look forward to our third stay next year if we can be so fortunate.

We're really enjoyed our stay at Jill's cottage with our 2 dogs! It is really walkable to town shops & restaurants, while feeling somewhat private. This does make it a bit tricky to find the street since it looks like a driveway, but once you find it there's no missing it. The area is quiet enough that we saw deer several times in the evenings. The place itself has what you need - we got by making dinner with the small appliances available (fridge, hotplate, toaster oven, microwave). We noticed a few things weren't stocked such as cooking oil and body soap/wash for the shower, and there was only enough aluminum foil for one small tray in the toaster oven, and one tiny frying pan (a few pots of different sizes, though). We got by just fine and can't complain too much for the price! Especially because the bed was very comfortable & there were plenty of pillows, always a plus. Most patios in the area are dog-friendly (Saltbox Brewery allows them inside as well). Thanks for a great stay!!

There are not many places that make you sad when you leave. This is one of those places. It’s just breathtaking with the views from the screened-in porch, to a walk to a rocky beach just a few kilometers away. What an amazing place! The host is delightful and literally thinks of everything you will need for the most comfortable stay. We cannot wait to return someday for a longer stay!

We stayed here with our 3 kids this fall. Amanda is an awesome host. She's very responsive, incredibly friendly and helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile to make the stay easy and stress free. The place looked exactly like the pictures and was clean and cozy when we arrived, the neighborhood is very quiet and private, yet walking distance from downtown or just a couple minutes drive. Anything we needed or any questions we had, it was easy to get a hold of Amanda or one of the other co hosts and it was promptly addressed. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay here and would come back in a heartbeat!

We had a great stay at Nova Glamping. Unique lodging in a beautiful and private setting. The salt water hot tub and outdoor shower were perfect after a day exploring Peggy’s Cove. The view of the sunset was amazing, and watching the fishing boats from our dome in the morning with our morning coffee was a great way to start the day. Staff were friendly, helpful, and responsive. A relaxing and memorable stay.

If you’re looking for a tranquil getaway, this is the perfect spot for you. Relaxing mornings spent sipping coffee while enjoying the peaceful sound of the river flowing and evening dips in wood fired hot tub. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Also, highly recommend making a trip into town to Schoolhouse Brewery, very dog friendly patio and welcoming staff.

The place was beautiful! We had a blast and felt right at home! Darlene was a great host. Be sure to leave a note in their guest book on your visit! Would definitely visit again.

This was a beautiful little boathouse with lots of privacy. We can’t wait to come back during warmer weather to have a swim off the dock and a meal on the deck. The boathouse was cozy and restful with a fireplace, comfy bed and chairs, and stunning surroundings. The forest trail is a fun little walk and we saw lots of birds and wildlife. Thanks for a lovely little getaway!

The cottage is a really nice little place! It is very close to the walking/biking trails in the area (Salt Marsh Trail and Atlantic View Trail). It is private, quiet, and perfect for a single or couple. Everything in the cottage is well thought out and clean. Doreen was such a good host; friendly and even went out of her way to make our stay perfect! Highly recommend staying here if you are looking to stay in the Lawrencetown area!

My partner and I had such a wonderful and relaxing time away. This place was a perfect get away from the city. It was cozy and very private. It was very clean. There was bottled water provided for us upon arrival. The kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub was our favourite part of the stay. It was clean and so warm! It was a perfect size for the two of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

Blue Forest Shores is truly an amazing getaway for us and we would definitely come back when we’re in Nova Scotia again. We stayed at the Boat house which has beautiful view and is very private. Our hosts, Yaro, Savayda, and Wouter are extremely nice and genuine and we actually felt like visiting our family home. Thank you so much for your amazing hospitality and we will see you again!

The cottage is adorable and I loved the comfy beds and just the coziness of the cottage. The view is great and the sea breeze was so relaxing.

This was our third year in a year going to this beautiful little paradise, as always I adore coming here, it’s a lovely private area and so peaceful, as always Brenda is the best host and has everything you need, I already booked our stay for next year and can’t wait, thank you again!

It’s a very beautiful island. Perfect place for a quiet gateway. 15 minutes drive to Liverpool town if you need any groceries. Would definitely like to come back in summer for a few more days!

The boathouse was a beautiful little building for our stay with our dogs. Right on the ocean with space for views and not a far drive to Halifax for plenty of activities and restaurants, it was a perfect in-between for a serene and tranquil staying experience with plenty of options for things to do nearby. The place was exactly as described and pictured and check-in was very easy. It had enough kitchen amenities to help make our stay very pleasant when we did need to cook a little bit. Highly recommend!

Our second time at this lovely spot, so peaceful and quiet but lots to do - we kayaked, fished, swam and hiked and just relaxed by the fire. The hut is just so cosy too! We'll be back again for sure.

We were fortunate to have such a mild weekend at Josh's place. A New year's Eve paddle and evening campfire allowed us to enjoy the outdoors. Josh's place is a little gem privately tucked away for a weekend getaway. We look forward to getting back there again. .
