Lovely place just as described. Had a great, quiet and peaceful stay. Interesting drive in on the dirt road in mid-March and the driveway is quite steep but all worth the efforts once you get there.

Ashley’s place was so peaceful and just how we wanted to spend a few days over March break. The kids and us really loved the hot tub overlooking the lake and sitting under the stars in it was ultimate relaxation. Everything you need for your kitchen is there which was super handy. The place was pristine upon arrival and the furnishings were comfy and homey. The reclining leather sofa was the best spot to watch some Netflix. We definitely would love to come back in the summer!! Everything that you could have possibly needed was available. Close to a small little town that had restaurants, grocery store etc. The views in and around the cottage were spectacular

My partner and I loved staying here for the Easter weekend. It had stunning views and we liked the size of the place because it made it more cozy and intimate. The town is very lovely as well! Only feedback is the TV is high up so sitting on the couch to watch TV really hurt the neck but everything else was fantastic ! The hot tub was the perfect temperature which usually I find hot tubs far too hot. We loved listening to the ocean when going to sleep as well and both the bed upstairs and downstairs were comfortable. Highly recommend this place :)

Lina’s place is extraordinary. So quiet and peaceful a great getaway from the city. Lina’s place had everything we could need for weekend away- they even had robes for after the hot tub! The king bed was super comfy! We will be back.

Great spot to visit for a weekend getaway! Even though the cabin is attached to their house, the hosts made us feel secluded and welcome.

My friends and I had the best stay at this cabin! We loved everything about it. We would love to come back again in the summer to also enjoy the lake! We loved the hot tub in the snowy weather. The place was clean and had everything you may need. Such a good little getaway spot.

This place had me as soon as I walked in. Loved the decor and cosy feel. Very calming with all the windows especially looking out over the lake. Cannot brag this spot up enough. Just loved everything about it. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate us and were very quick to respond if I had a question. Truly wonderful spot.

Cabin was homey, comfortable, clean and had everything you would need. Area was quiet with privacy, a large deck, beautiful yard with hammock, loungers and a chair swing by the water. Playground is well maintained and safe. The lake was the highlight of our stay! There is a small beach area to wade into the water or you can jump right off the dock. The water is calm, warm and very clean. We spent all day swimming, out on the paddle boat or canoes. If you go into the cove in the boats you can find painted turtles and frogs. There were no mosquitoes as we were outside all day and night by the fire pit. On rain days the screened in porch was great for meals and games of cards. The cabin had a bunch of boardgames and movies we could enjoy. Denis is very welcoming, a great host and respectful of your stay. We had a really wonderful time.

Where to start!! Myself, husband, 9 year old son and Golden doodle stayed at Jodi’s home for 2 nights this past weekend. The home is incredible cozy, warm, inviting, as well as incredibly thoughtful. There is everything you need and more. Very pet friendly, lol there were 2 dog beds, toys and more. The fire pit is wonderful and well and the amazing dock on the prestige lake front. Very private. The screened in room is so wonderful, with the lovey table and lights! Fishing is great as well. The inside bedding and layout is perfect as well. Incredibly comfortable and clean! The kitchen,bathroom,and bedrooms and well equipped with anything needed. We hope to speak a full week next summer there with our family! Last but not least…..communication was amazing! We had a lovely three-night stay at cottage #1. We travelled as two adults with two small children (ages 2 and 6). The cottage was clean and well-equipped with kitchen gadgets, dishes, utensils and cooking supplies, plenty of linens, and even a drawer of board games and colouring supplies that our kids really appreciated. We were happy to have the BBQ and fire pit to use as well. The amazing beach is literally right across the street, as well as the Quarterdeck restaurant. It was very convenient especially with two kids to just be able to walk across the street and access beach fun and a meal if we wanted. Check-in was very easy with a door code provided before our arrival, and Eric and Dawn kindly checked on us via message daily to ensure we had all we needed. I would highly recommend this cottage to others. Thanks for the great stay!

Sally’s place is amazing, the neighbors are very friendly, the views were amazing, the waterfront was so pretty and relaxing, can’t wait to book with Sally again. She is such a sweet host and was very personable and friendly. So glad I got to meet her. The cottage was so perfect. We went during a heat wave and we were so thankful that there were fans available for us to use. It really helped cool the place down. Thank you Sally.. if you love the water, lighthouses and some amazing Oak Island facts this is the place to stay. The island is amazing and it’s right beside the Yacht Club so you get to see it all. The boats, and near things to rent to have some fun on the water. Thank you again and can’t wait to book again soon.

Beautiful cottage, exactly as described. We stayed with our extended family so having the two cottages was a bonus for us. Access to the lake, fire pit and bbq all added to our trip! Lara had great communication and promptly answered any questions we had. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely place only small thing i could comment on is the fire wood which wouldnt burn. As an avid camper i brought my own kindling but couldnt make a fire with what was there. The picture shows a stack of wood under the deck which wasnt there . Not an issue really as it was very hot anyway.

Our family had a great few days on this beautiful property. It had everything we needed to make our eggs and bacon breakfasts and spaghetti and barbecue dinners . Lots of room for our5 kids to lounge by the fire and watch movies downstairs while the adults were relaxing upstairsThe linens were great made everyone feel so cozy beds were comfy and we really appreciated lots of fresh towels . The frozen lake on the property was beautiful to look at and sit by ,enjoying our coffee or wine .we called it glamping but it was much more with the updated amenities . Kids loved being outside and we all enjoyed the peacefulness

My boyfriend and I stayed for the weekend and had an amazing time! We took the kayaks out on the lake for a nice Fall paddle. The property was beautiful and there were lots of thoughtful touches. Shayma was easy to communicate with and very friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at the cottage for one night. The location and the waterfront view is really great. Recommend spending more than a night to actually enjoy the surroundings. The fridge and hot plate came in very handy. The kitchen has adequate supplies for a cottage(except paper towels :) )Henry is very responsive to the questions and concerns. The place(bathroom) was a little dirty upon our arrival. The AC took its time to heat up the cottage, especially the bedrooms. But other than that it was an over all a good experience.

My kids and I had an amazing stay! Great place and area to get away from the fast city life and unplug for a few days!

We had the best weekend at Archie’s Cabin! It was cozy, clean and had the comfiest beds. The outdoor shower was also very clean and a cool experience. Its also right on the water so I can imagine it is even better in the summer. Kit and her co-hosts were incredibly helpful and quick to respond to our questions (we had a power outage due to high winds - thank goodness for the indoor fireplace!). I would highly recommend this cute cabin for a getaway and we cant wait to come back this summer!
