Sometimes five stars was not enough to properly rate this place. We came for a four-day weaving workshop at Tierra Wools in Chama and this place was just 10 minutes away. It is in the quiet community of Brazos and was in such a picturesque location especially after the two snowfalls we had. The house was warm and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen. The internet worked fine (many of the other airbnbs in the area did not offer wifi). This nicely restored and decorated old adobe was the perfect escape after a long day in the weaving workshop. We also really appreciated the covered parking area when leaving in the morning after a night of snow.

My husband and I visited the property towards the end of the off season. We really enjoyed the peaceful setting, and we loved the amenities the property had to offer. Pagosa Springs is a reasonably short trip from this location, and there a few fun things to do in and around the town. We chose this location because of the privacy and its location in the mountains. The cabin is beautiful and well maintained. I highly recommend this location to anyone searching for a peaceful location in the mountains to add to their itinerary.

The best place you could ever stay and the history is absolutely amazing. I cannot recommend highly enough and the place is infinitely more breath taking in person. You will not regret it is a gem and one of a kind!

Michael is an excellent host, communicative, understanding and very helpful. This was our second time at his place and he always goes above and beyond to make sure everything goes smoothly. I am so grateful he shares this space for all to enjoy, the cabin is amazing and the view from the back porch is one of the best in NM. The space is extremely clean with plenty of room, has everything you need for a wonderful stay in a magical place. Can't wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. Very nicely appointed and the owners were super responsive to our texts, very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again. During the winter, you definitely need a four-wheel-drive vehicle if it snows!

Perfect Mountain Getaway in Pagosa Springs! We had an incredible stay at this charming cabin in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and forest—sunrises and sunsets were truly magical from the deck! The cabin itself was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The hosts clearly went the extra mile with amenities—from a fully equipped kitchen to plush linens, local guidebooks, and thoughtful extras. . Yes, it’s pet-friendly, which made our trip even more enjoyable—we loved exploring nearby trails with our dog and then coming back to relax on the porch while watching the sunset. This place strikes the perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort. Whether you’re looking to hike, soak in the hot springs, or just unwind in peace, this cabin is the perfect home base. We can’t wait to come back!

We will be back. Amazing house, with amazing views. As described, and more. Perfect for our 3 days at Wolf Creek. Close drive into Pagosa. Beautiful, quiet area that offered hiking around the property that added a bonus to the stay. The deck is amazing, beds were comfortable, downstairs game room and kids room were awesome. Radiant heating, and hot tub were warm upon arrival. Top notch. Highly recommend!
