We have stayed at several lovely places in Highlands, NJ, and this one was far and away our favorite. Amazing location near the beach, gorgeous water views from the kitchen table, and a wonderfully stocked kitchen. Check-in was easy and the location can’t be beat! The mattresses were so comfortable and it was quiet, so we slept really well. We took the Seastreak ferry, so we didn’t have a car, but everything was walkable. The deck and yard were great, with extraordinary water views and even some nesting birds! The hosts were wonderfully responsive and lovely, giving good recommendations. We enjoyed reading some of the books and magazines and playing some of the games. It was a delightful stay, all-around.

Elaine’s airbnb was absolutely amazing. It was situated on the second story of their home with a separate, easy access entrance. Upon entering you are treated with a beautifully decorated, well furnished , living room with a large bay window at one end. When you get closer and look out, you are overwhelmed by a spectacular view of the Narragansett Bay. You are so close, if you listen carefully, you can hear the lapping waves. In the morning, the room is filled with the glorious morning sun. The large main bedroom is equally well decorated and has an equally beautiful view of the bay. The smaller second bedroom is fully functional but does not have the view. The apartment had a one fully functional bathroom and a small but updated well equipped kitchen with everything you needed except a dishwasher. No room. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit with Elaine and Richard and would loved to stay with them again if we return to Wickford.

This was just what we needed. A nice escape from the city. The lake is gorgeous and the quiet was phenomenal. Not gonna lie the steps are a workout, but since that was the only con, it was a totally worth it. Besides, meant I didn’t have to worry about missing workouts. The apartment was so cute and cozy. Everything was super clean. When I had any questions, they were answered immediately. Thank you so much for a great stay.

Carla was very accommodating and her place is super cozy in a great area right in the middle of the small town of highlands near a bunch of great cafes and the water!

This was not my first stay at Traci's AirBnB and, much like last time, I would gladly stay again.

Fantastic experience! Kelly was very clear with instructions, check-in was an absolute breeze. Upon arrival we found the space exceptionally clean and well stocked with everything you could ever wish for. The bed was extremely comfortable and the views along the river did not disappoint. Also loved being able to have a campfire after a long day of hiking. Great place :)

Really clean and comfortable place

Sarah’s place is very spacious! The neighborhood was very quiet (I was there on a weekend) especially compared to the experience of my friends who stayed in the middle of Newburgh. It was the perfect space to wind down in at the end of the day. The house does make noise but Sarah is upfront about that and I didn’t think it was that bad! I also enjoyed the tech free space, that was a feature for me.

It was our first experience with Airbnb. We were there to tour the World Headquarters for Jehovah’s Witnesses and this proved to be our evening haven. The house was well stocked as others had commented. We enjoyed relaxing and spent much time in living room with the beautiful view. It was perfect for our stay. Our thanks to our Host.

Jim’s place was great, with plenty to see in the area. We ended up spending most of the time enjoying the little beach and kayaks. Very cute house with plenty of room and we’ll stocked kitchen. The grill made for a perfect Labor Day cookout looking out at the water. Would stay again.

Beautiful and easy little cottage, lovely porch with wonderful big swing to nap on with the pup, luscious huge lawn to feel space and privacy, and absolutely beautiful lake view, easy rock step into shallow section to launch our floaties and Wayne’s paddle boards. Easy living with picnic table and great Weber grill, and second small fridge in the boat house. A keeper!

Peaceful location, very calm. I loved the area very beautiful scenery, the lake was gorgeous! 🌊 The host was very responsive and gave clear instructions. This is a nice boat house that feels like a cute home away from home!

I would love love love to come back! The way the hot tub is on the deck over looking the lake was just amazing and beautiful. We used the fire pit in the morning which was so easy and peaceful as well. We had dinner at Lola’s which was an unexpected perk since it’s directly next door and we could walk. I fell in love with this house and really would love to come back. The owner was so kind and responsive to messages as well. Thank you for everything!

This Airbnb was truly better than the pictures. This lake house has its own private beach, is close to amazing eateries in Bantam and the house itself is modern and clean on the inside and is an amazing space to spend time. The deck and chairs as well as the fire pit and chairs on the beach make it all an amazing place to relax. Would stay again!!

We had a wonderful stay at Andrew's place. It was a perfect little getaway where we could unwind & just enjoy the scenery. We came in town to visit our Son who is a Freshman at Nichols College. We had some cold weather & rain but, we took full advantage of the firepit & sat out by the water enjoying the view. There were lots of things to do on the water that we can hopefully do when we visit again in warmer weather. This place was a wonderful spot for us to unwind & spend time with our boy! Andrew & Lora were super responsive & helpful for all of our needs. They went above & beyond to make sure our visit was perfect. Highly recommend this gem by the water!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at this location. The house was prefect for us and met all of our needs. What a stunning view of the Great South Bay! A wonderful home to utilize with family and friends. Bedrooms and bathrooms on both levels so that made accessibility easier for us. Thanks for hosting us!

We stayed the week after Labor Day, when everything shuts down for the season. That was the perfect time to be there for us because we wanted a quiet place away. It would NOT be quiet during peak season, but you couldn't find a better location to walk over to Scarborough Beach. The deck was our favorite part: the view, lounge chairs, the wall making it somewhat private to the street. We were not there in the heat of the summer, so we didn't use the window AC unit. The ceiling fan in the main room, and ocean breezes, kept things very comfortable. Not sure how the AC would work in heat, it's in the middle of the space, but in the hallway connecting the bedroom to the front room. Things to be aware of: the view comes from the 2nd floor, so you will have to go up a flight of stairs to a platform to the 3 units. The bedroom is above the main door, so you will hear people going in and out. The unit very spacious. Bright, comfortable, beautiful sunrises.

We had an amazing stay! We stayed off peak season, although alot was closed we felt right at home and were more than happy to spend family time at this condo! The views were stunning, and the condo was immaculate. We were close to everything and was still within very reasonable driving distance to the surrounding towns. Julie was a pleasure to work with and was always very responsive and accomadating throughout the process. Hoping to stay again next year!

If you are looking to explore New York for a few days or longer then Jay's place is great. Just a few minutes from the Long Beach station, Penn or Grand Central are about an hour away on a direct LIRR train. You will save $$$ by staying here compared with Manhattan. Long Beach is a safe, full of interesting shops. The 10km boardwalk is just a few minutes away. The apartment of character in a listed building full of charm. Loved the well stocked kitchen and would not hesitate to come back again.

Absolutely wonderful stay and host. I've stayed at dozens of Airbnbs and this is one of my favorites! Doug's place is even better in person than the photos. We were a little nervous taking our first trip away with our baby, but it was extremely clean and comfortable, and Doug was so kind and responsive. The condo complex has a lovely boardwalk for taking walks, and the deck furniture was so comfortable to lounge in and take in the beautiful view. We hope to be back!

We really enjoyed staying at Lynn’s place! Very clean and had a great view of the ocean from the deck. Lynn was very responsive and made the experience seamless. We would definitely stay with Lynn again.

The place was perfect nice and clean what I like the best is the it was close to the beach to go for a walk.

Very nice stay. Appreciated the bedside chargers. Kitchen was smartly stocked, was able to prepare a Thanksgiving meal with amenities provided. Very clean. Stunning views of the ocean. Downside, small bathroom/shower, limited bathroom shelf space/counter.

Everything just as advertised, this place is right next to a a train station. The SM team is very responsive. Just some quick constructive feedback, I do wish the bed was a bit more comfortable. But enjoyed the stay and would visit again.
