On top of genuinely getting what's in the description, which is already pretty decent, and a responsive host ready to adjust checkin and checkout times for my convenience, the showering facilities are worth mentioning. a decent shower pressure and hot water temperature is not guaranteed, so it got my attention. Also, amazing towels! I am sure I will be back.

We had a restful stay. Easy to find and park. Pamela’s communication was excellent and we felt welcome and at home. The facilities were everything we needed and more. The area is lovely and there are restaurants and shops within walking distance. We very much hope to return next time we are in the area, and would recommend to anyone.

I found the Annexe was within walkable distance to Harpenden about 25 mins which is great on a fine day ( local taxis are available and not expensive ). You can walk via the Common or via Rothampsted Park both pleasant. Trains to London are fast and frequent and a combined tube and bus ticket is very flexible. The booking office staff are very helpful too . We went to Windsor on one day to which was less than an hours drive away . Eileen is a perfect host and will assist in anyway possible . oh yes the Annexe was lovely and warm ,we were free to come and go as we please and . Suited our needs very well . Would recommend

Great spot if you're using public transportation in London. There's a bus stop a short walk away. Friendly hosts, beautiful yard!

A very comfortable place to stay that suited us very well.

This was our 4th stay in Gordon & Viv’s annexe, which speaks for itself. We use it in order to visit family in the area and it provides the perfect base. There is everything you need for breakfast, and plenty of crockery etc should you wish to bring in a ready meal to cook in the microwave. Access is easy and there is ample parking space. Viv & Gordon are both very friendly and always keen for us to say if there is anything we need.

Matthew and his family are wonderful hosts that go well out of their way to accommodate their guest. If you need a home away from home then this place offers a beautiful rest bite from busy life. Super close to restaurants and London but far enough away to feel like you are on holiday. I can’t recommend enough and will definitely be back.

Another easy stay at Sunita's, great host and will more than likely be back as it fits my needs perfectly.

The studio was great and well worth the money, supermarkets close by and I had everything I needed. Rachel communicated really well and was very quick to respond. The studio was beautifully decorated and I loved all the little touches. I would definitely stay again.

Stephen and Stefanie were great hosts. Very accommodating and communicative throughout our stay. We have two young children and there was a wonderful playroom to keep them occupied. Amenities were easy to use and clean. Would definitely come back!

David and Lisa made us feel very welcome. The room was ready way before check in. The place was spotless and extremely comfortable. There were toiletries and refreshments including bottled water, tea and coffee that we were so glad for. The room was decorated so lovely and the attention to detail really shows. It was within walking distance to the shops and restaurants which was very good. We would jump at the chance to stay here again.

A wonderful stay in beautiful, peaceful garden setting! Exactly what we were looking for as a family, a quick hop in a cab to the station and couple of fab days sightseeing in London! The accommodation was unique, spotless and spacious and our hosts were welcoming and attentive! Everything was perfect and just as described, we would highly recommend! Thank you Dana and Benjamin!!

Really friendly host and lovely place. Close enough to major tube stations. Place was warm and cozy and felt like home and not just isolated and staying somewhere foreign.

I enjoyed my stay at Rangi's annex. The accommodation was perfect for me - private - but I liked the idea of being attached to the main house, in case I needed anything . The kitchen was very well appointed. Thank you, Rangi, for your kindness and making me feel so welcome.

A great find. Gills place was lovely and quiet in a beautiful area . Plenty of local amenities nearby and a comfortable little place for a lone traveller or couple to enjoy. Would happily stay again if in the area. Many thanks

Lovely gem in Windsor. We were a family of 2 adults and 2 teenage boys, the space was perfect for us. Windsor is safe to walk around even at midnight! Whilst there is no kitchen, we had a microwave, cutlery and coffee and tea facilities. For people with decreased mobility, please note there is a flight of stairs and the shower is over a high bathtub. We didn’t have any trouble with either. Hilary & Jamie are very helpful and friendly!
