Very good host and keeps her property very clean. The place is very secure and has very helpful staff that are always willing to lend a helping hand. The next time I am in livingstone, I am not looking for any other place.

I had a fantastic stay at Ethel’s place. The apartment was just what I was looking for and really comfortable. All the staff on site were so helpful and approachable and help to make the stay what it was, nothing was too much trouble and any queries were always responded too quickly. The walk into town is really easy but still with the benefit of being out of the main noise of town. The additional solar energy was a real plus for those moments when power was scarce. ( Due to the ongoing issues nationwide) so this was a real bonus. The garden area is so peaceful and well kept, and the additional housekeeping and laundry service was much appreciated. I always felt safe due to the excellent security service provided, where access was always well managed. I would definitely like to return again. This really is a unique place with lovely people. Thank you for such a great time!

This is the place you should stay if you want to visit Victoria Falls

The apartment was new and well kept. The host was quite helpful. Lot of works happening in the yard including putting up a swimming pool. Rooms were neat and apartments have a solar back up.

房东非常友好，我们到达时已经在约定地点等候我们，因为是假期兑换货币银行不开门，房东带领我们找了好多家银行，最后他帮助我们解决问题，又耐心带我们去车站买票。住宿地点优越方便，超市餐厅就在附近，利文斯顿博物馆也在眼前。房间很大，设施齐全，可以做饭。住宿安静舒适，去看瀑布打的士很方便，利文斯顿是个友好美丽的地方。推荐Lapson的住宿。

My husband and I had a peaceful and restful stay at the Castle. The place is beautifully decorated and so serene. The house was clean and as described. The environment was quiet. The complimentary entrance to the crocodile park was a treat! Do not skip the rooftop lounge during your stay; it is incredibly beautiful at night. Ian and Sue were very welcoming and easily accessible throughout our stay. It was refreshing to be a Livingstone tourist, yet return to a place that felt like home.

The only Problem was that you cant find the Mandela Road, where Steve‘s house is on Google maps… haha… but we finally made it! His sister and all the people at the house were wonderfull and the house was providing everything it need! A perfect stay for people who still can survive with just a few vents and a good mood! And mind. Cant wait to come back!

Albert has been stellar with us, very comprehensive and dedicated host. Besides the accident he experienced couple days before he took time to show us around and give us a lift when needed. The contacts him and Pamela provided were reliable and trustworthy. No regrets of our choice at Albert's place. great for families!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Man ist in 5 min im Stadtzentrum. Die Unterkunft ist eine kleine, ruhige Oase mit einem sehr netten Garten und tollen Pool. Die Einrichtung ist schön, die Küche gut ausgestattet und man hat alles, was man braucht. Das Bett ist relativ klein, aber sehr gemütlich. Bei Bedarf kann man nach Moskitonetzen fragen, was in Livingstone auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert ist. Die Kommunikation lief sehr gut. Leider ist wohl eine falsche Adresse bei Air bnb hinterlegt, die Unterkunft befindet sich einige Meter entfernt. Wir würden die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen.

The place was unique and wonderful, perfect for my solo travel. I was particularly grateful for the power back up since there’s load shedding going on; the security, location in proximity to the city centre and the mosquito net. I’d definitely recommend it or also stay here whenever I visit Livingstone again. Ethel was super helpful in providing a reliable taxi and activities to try out. Her family were also super welcoming. I felt right at home.

We had the most wonderful stay at Victoria Falls Castle in Livingstone! From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed by the incredibly warm and attentive hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, always greeting us with a smile and sharing their local insights. The house help was equally amazing—friendly, efficient, and ready to assist with anything we needed. The property itself is simply stunning, living up to the name “castle” with its unique architecture and charming details. Our rooms were spacious, clean, and filled with natural light, and the peaceful, quiet setting made it easy to relax after our daily adventures. Surrounded by nature, we loved waking up to the sound of birdsong and ending the day with awe-inspiring Zambian sunsets. Simply amazing!
