Great place to stay! We had a wonderful time with friends. Would stay again.

We had the best time! The hot tub was so much fun, and we’re super excited to come back for another awesome stay!

Lisa and Phil have an amazing place and go above and beyond as hosts! They had fresh pastries, fruit, and flowers waiting for us. The kitchen is well stocked with pantry essentials and cooking gear. The property is immedicable and exemplifies Phil's wood-working craftsmanship. We took full advantage of the hot tub and also a tour of Phil's downstairs wood shop. While initially concerned about the train, we found it an exciting perk and our sleep was never disturbed even without ear plugs. We were lucky enough to be able to stay for 2 weeks and will definitely be recommending the "lodge" to friends and family!

We had a great stay here, nice environment around. The backyard was nice and gave plenty of room for our pets to have fun. Chad was very accommodating.

Ann Margaret was a wonderful host, checking in regularly to make sure everything was working for me. She and Judy left many special touches around the space (delicious breakfast treats, glass bottles of filtered water, a heavy duty ice scraper for my car) to make it feel like a very personal experience despite the ample privacy. I loved the space which was homey in an elevated way. It was a great retreat for a busy visit to Ann Arbor.

We stayed here for a family holiday get together - lots of kids and grown ups. Everyone loved the place! It’s quite a big house and the way it’s set up, it never feels crowded even with a large group. Alayne has thought of everything. And it shows in how the place has these nice little touches all around that make your life easier - there’s blankets in every room, kitchen is well stocked, bathrooms are well stocked, every room has a TV! Most importantly, Alayne is an excellent host. She knows what she’s doing - she’s very responsive, answered our questions promptly, helped us with a couple of things through the trip, and had a sweet welcome basket set up for us. Everyone in the group was highly interested in booking this place again for another memorable family get together.

This was my second stay at Maureen's place. Very cozy and a perfect home base for my need to be in town. Look forward to staying again.

I stayed at Heron Pointe once before and liked it so much I decided to go back for the holidays. And wow, am I glad I did! Carol and Pete (the hosts) have just finished a complete makeover of the entire place and have taken it to a whole new level. Totally new décor and it is gorgeous! Suffice it to say they have spared no expense to create a real “home away from home” that does not feel like a rental. Quality touches like a real Vitamix for making Smoothies, nice cookware, beautiful bone china dishes, to-die-for recliner swivel rockers, heated mattress pads, luxurious bedding, fluffy towels (and lots of them!)…well you get the idea. I don’t want to give away all of their surprises. Let me just say…BOOK THIS PROPERTY!! NOW!! Thanks so much Pete and Carol, I will definitely be back!

Cozy and clean and comfortable Convenient location easy to get around town to stores and close to highways. Aaron was very responsive and fixed issues quickly. I will return as this home that worked out well for my family s needs.

We stayed at Joseph's with our two young kiddos for three nights. We are super happy we found the house available and it lived up to its description 100%. The place is super cozy. The kitchen is GREAT. The main bedroom has a better mattress (and far superior pillows) than the JW Marriot we stayed at three weeks ago. Medium firmness and ultra-supportive! 10/10 on the mattress & bedding. THANK YOU!!! For the kids: The downstairs play area was much fun for our 4-1/2 yr-old girl and the air hockey was a blast. The bathroom had a kid's stool and the tub was kid-friendly (and still very comfortable for an adult). The house is very kid-friendly, but note that there is a staircase to the basement which is open to the main level. This was not a problem for us as our 1-3/4 yr-old was finally slightly intimidated by something (or he just didn't feel like making a break for it). For toddlers, you might ask about a gate. We would absolutely stay here again w/wo kids!

The decor and space of the home was cozy and very comfortable. Cheryl was very kind and left breakfast for us! We thought the treehouse would be a little closer to the house, (about an acre away from the main house) so my adult kids were not happy about being in a separate space entirely, especially with no bathroom. I thought it was darling though.

Suellen is a wonderful host with great hospitality. She made me feel welcomed from day one! Her description of the apartment on the listing is accurate, and I found the vast amenities she provided very helpful and conducive for a long-term stay. I would recommend staying with Suellen if you are in Lansing.

Perfect location to stay! Easy access to everything we wanted and the house was awesome. Comfy beds, stocked kitchen and toiletries, and very clean.

A completely private space with plenty of room, very comfortable and wonderful 'extra' touches (like some beverages in the fridge and homemade cookies upon check-in :-) They done a great job with the space and it's a lovely residential community very near/a short drive from anything you could want in Ann Arbor. Exactly as advertised - book with confidence!

Kathy’s place was beautiful, clean, and comfortable and had everything we needed for our 4 month stay! The neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful and it’s located near so many yummy restaurants and fun downtown attractions. Kathy was always very responsive whenever we reached out to her and always made sure we were taken care of. We would love to stay here if we ever travel to the area again!

we needed a place that offered walking distance to the big mall and other nearby shops. location was great, with a cozy living room and well-equipped bathroom. plenty of space to stretch out for the four of us: a married couple with two adult kids.

Good host and nice location near the walking path along the river. For more than one couple, slightly awkward that the primary bed is right in the living room with no privacy, but otherwise a good place.

Amazing location! Great for a visit to MSU. The place felt VERY homey. My parents loved it.

My husband and I were looking for accommodation close to my best friend's wedding venue and home when we discovered Michael and Patti's rental. The place was easy to find, comfortable, and they were wonderful hosts. The mornings were beautiful and peaceful, filled with the sounds of birds. I would definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone.
