10/10 would recommend. This A-Frame was fully equipped with all that you may need, close to beautiful hikes, and a perfect weekend getaway location not too far from Denver. Will absolutely be staying here again.

My wife and I really enjoyed staying at the Lazy Me cabin. It was far enough out there to get the peace and quiet we seek when going to the mountains, but close enough to town if you need the amenities. The cabin is also right up against the national forest, and surrounded by plenty of popular off-road trails for summer use.

Such a great place to enjoy nature and do some hiking. Cabin was super clean and had everything we needed. James was super responsive with any random questions we had!

If you want peace, beauty, comfort, a little slice of heaven…. Rich’s cabin is it. We came to celebrate our 5th anniversary and unplug (mostly) from our busy lives and we enjoyed every single moment spent here. We rented a jeep and the drive up was easy, especially with Rich’s extremely clear instructions. When we arrived, it was sunny and clear. A couple days in we got a snow storm and thought we might be snowed in (which was perfectly fine with us!) but the driveway was magically plowed the next morning and we got to go have lunch. We could have stayed longer and never would have gotten tired of the views. The cabin was super well stocked with everything we could have needed to relax, cook meals, enjoy the hot tub, etc…. We also really loved the privacy of the mountains but still being within a 30 minute drive of groceries, restaurants, activities, and people. All around amazing stay! If you’re thinking about booking, just do it! Thanks for everything Rich!!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay! The cabin was spotless and the fully equipped kitchen made it easy for us to cook our own meals. The views were absolutely beautiful—we had our morning coffee while watching deer wander by. It’s also conveniently close to town, where we found plenty of delicious food options. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, offering great recommendations for things to do in the area. We would definitely love to come back!

This charming ranch cabin has outstanding views and rustic decor. A highlight is the hot tub, which is easily accessible and has fantastic views. Other highlights include woodburning stoves and a tree net. It is highly recommended as a charming getaway with great views. Michael was extremely communicative and supportive. I appreciated the dog-friendliness of the cabin.

This is the place to go if you are looking for something quiet, peaceful and pet friendly. We had such a great time at the little cabin with are furry babys. We loved how it felt so cozy and had this opportunity to be in nature. We were able to go hiking, sightseeing and even got to meet the locals. It was perfect and we will be coming back 😊

This is cabin living done right! We stayed for a long weekend to get away from the busyness of life and Anne’s cabin was perfect for just that. Such a cute and cozy place and the area was so quiet and peaceful. My doggies and I spent the majority of the time laying on the couch in the bay window just enjoying nature and reading books. The cabin had everything we needed for cooking meals and the wood burning stove kept us nice and warm while the snow fell outside. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs a quiet getaway in the mountains (-:

My sister and I met for a girls weekend in early April, unsure what kind of weather we would get. It snowed and the surroundings were amazingly beautiful. The house was a bit cold upon arrival, but once we had the fire going we were in great shape. I brought my service dog, and they were so kind with treats and bowls and a towel to really make her feel welcome. She loved exploring the backyard and the wild turkey sightings! I have really high expectations on most things - and this cabin was able to meet or exceed in all ways - it was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and we had everything we needed to make meals and stay in. The TV is in the bedroom, which we didn't realize before, but we never turned it on and it was quite refreshing. The wifi was spotty at times, but I was able to have a zoom call without hiccup. The only downside was a bit of altitude sickness, something to keep in mind when booking in CO the future. It was an all around wonderful stay, highly recommend!

Obviously the location was beautiful. The fact that this is basically two houses for the price of one was awesome. The split levels worked out perfect. The thoughtful amenities, from the chocolates to the cereal boxes to the well written instructions for the sauna, everything was amazing. We actually canceled some of our planned activities because it made sense to just hang out at the house instead. We visited several local little towns in the area, even went swimming at the local Black Hawk community center where they have a water slide. Other than the altitude sickness (if you are from the flatland Midwest and haven't been to the rockies before like me, do yourself a favor and buy a can of oxygen as soon as you arrive) couldn't have asked for any more.

Was a beautiful location, loved Red Rocks. Carly was responsive and had some excellent suggestions of local places.

We had an amazing time in the Riverside cabin! It was cozy and nicely decorated, the perfect size for our family of 5, and had all of the basics we needed in the kitchen. MaryRuth was an excellent host and responded quickly to questions we had about things to do in the area. We enjoyed it so much we are planning to go back when we can spend more time there!

The location and view is simply stunning. The check in/out process was very easy and the house was very clean and exactly as described. If you are going during winter months an AWD vehicle is required (I would personally say snow chains are recommended) but Tan made sure we knew that well ahead of time. Tan was always very quick to respond when we had any questions. I would definitely stay here again.

Martha’s place was wonderful. We had a really nice stay. The house was pristine with all new appliances. The kitchen was fully stocked and we were able to make all of our meals there. It was tastefully decorated but not cluttered. The area is quiet and there are lots of deer. My only minor complaint were the mattresses- they are very firm memory foam. Of course, this is personal preference and you may love them!

This cabin was peaceful, beautifully decorated and located next to a national forest! It was the perfect mountain getaway for my friends and I to spend quality time together. The living room was the perfect place to sit together, drink coffee, and enjoy the view. It came with a fire burning stove, two fridges, and a deck with grill. The hosts were very friendly, responsive, and gave detailed instructions for check in and check out. We enjoyed visiting Nederland, CO, a small mountain Colorado town with the feel of towns 30 years ago. I would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone wanting an escape with friends and pets.

Perfect place to explore nearby hiking, hot springs, and food at Mountain Prime in Idaho Springs. Comfortable, quiet, and very reasonably priced.

Michelle's Charming Mountain Cabin is even more amazing than the photos and description; Words like cozy, sumptuous, warm, inviting, and peaceful. This old-time looking cabin in the most old-time of all old-time towns, Gold Hill (you must go if you haven't), has been lovingly restored and extended into a modern home with all the expected amenities (internally). We felt so held 8) Michelle is an incredible host, I hope you are lucky enough to cross paths with them for a chat before enjoying your magical getaway. Thanks Michelle.

Excellent location and friendly check-in! You do have to check-in at a certain time (between 4-6) so not as flexible as some other options. Adorable place and adorable amenities! There were quite a few rules but didn’t harp on our time! I appreciated the 11 am check out and minimal check-out to-do items to complete! Thanks for a great stay!

Our stay at Donna's was great. The location was convenient to many trails and not too far from Rocky Mountain National Park. The cabin was in a quiet area, as described and reflected in the pictures. It included all the amenities we needed during our stay. Everything met or exceeded our expectations, would definitely stay again.

Clara was a good communicator. The house is what we expected and wanted. The kitchen was well stocked with non-consumables. The primary bedroom and bathroom were spacious.

I have nothing but good things to say about Catherine’s Cabin! The Cabin was perfect for myself and a few friends. The size of the cabin is perfect for larger groups. We all had our own space and sleeping accommodations. The cabin was super clean and very well furnished. The location is great with convenient access to Idaho Springs and I-70. I highly recommend this place to everyone! This cabin has all the modern conveniences, while still providing the quiet and relaxing vibes that you expect with being in the mountains!

Cami's place is amazing, and she goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. The views are sublime and her place is perfect.

This place was perfect for our stay. James was very responsive and helpful as we had questions about the road. He had the place warm for us and we had a great time!
