Get away to a private setting in Floyd County with your very own tiny home. Located just a 15-17 minute drive to downtown Floyd. Our tiny house is located on 2 wooded acres in a quiet, rural setting with plenty of room for the entire family. We encourage use of the entire site for tent camping alongside the tiny house. Kitchenette w/outdoor grill, bathroom with clawfoot tub, stackable washer/dryer, central HVAC and complimentary Level 2 EV charging are just some of the amenities to be found.

The Cabin

Charming log cabin in great Floyd County location for 2 guests only. Large family room with gas fireplace. Separate bedroom with queen bed, well appointed kitchen, & single bath with stall shower. Located ~22 minutes from I-81, 35 minutes from Virginia Tech, 22 minutes from Floyd Country Store, & ~ 40 minutes to Roanoke. No smoking/vaping on property. Our home is beside/visible from the cabin. We are available if you need anything, but we respect your time and will give you your privacy.

Tiny House @ TinyHouseFamily

Our tiny house is beautifully appointed with everything you need to live (and work!) in luxury two miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and two miles from downtown Floyd, VA. Sleep soundly on the queen sized mattress topped with 4" memory foam. Cook your gourmet meals in the fully equipped kitchen—(we provide welcome mini loaf, organic coffee, half and half, sugar, rolled oats, olive oil, salt, pepper, and cinnamon.) Spend the evening enjoying a campfire or relax on the porch swing.

Ridge Top Retreat

Welcome to Ridge Top Retreat, nestle in the heart of beautiful Floyd, Co. Virginia. Come relax and recharge your mind, body and Spirit and enjoy the peaceful setting. Ridge Top is located in a rural area, however is centrally located to access the Christiansburg, Blacksburg and Roanoke areas. Ridge Top is located next to Blue Gate Sanctuary, a private animal rescue organization. Special arrangements can be made to meet the current animal residents and learn about their stories.

The Hidey-Hole: A gem of a getway close to Floyd

The Hidey-Hole is a newly renovated getaway, 15 minutes from Floyd and just 5 minutes off the Blue Ridge Parkway. This getaway has a cozy interior with beautiful views; you can hear Rock Castle Gorge running below you. We are located in the middle of great music, hiking, biking and water fun, amazing food and produce and wineries, all in beautiful communities nestled in the southwest Virginia mountains. Come get feral and lost in the woods. Let the mountains hug you.

Max's House- Cozy Home on BRParkway Farm

Great location just 1/2 mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway at MP 152. Surrounded by open fields, mountain vistas abound. This home has been lived in and gently loved for many years. There is one bedroom downstairs and two upstairs. An extra cot is available. Fully equipped kitchen! Great for families and a long stay. Guests are invited to join us when feeding the farm animals (alpacas, llamas, Highland cattle, Jacob sheep and angora goats) each morning. Fun!

The Cabin is a luxurious rural escape, with a 3-person hot tub. Located on a permaculture homestead and native plant sanctuary, the space overlooks the garden and is surrounded by forest. Natural/local materials were used throughout (built in 2023).
