A few times while wandering around midcoast Maine in late March, we were asked if this is when we usually came to vacation here. Yes, we are educators from the Southwest, and this was our spring break, so this is when we came to visit, but honestly, it is so peaceful this time of year. Especially Boothbay Harbor, and what we imagined while walking around the very quiet town would be a very different place in July! Our experience at Abby’s space was absolutely wonderful and serene in the spring. The thoughtful touches (thank you for the bottle of Maine wine and jar of blueberry jelly!) made it even more special. Thank you, we hope to be back one day.

Cute and cozy spot!

Just wanted a quick getaway for a night and have looked at this place a few times. The location is perfect for walking to the local night life, with a beautiful view of the Kennebec. The fragrance was not my kind of smell-not bad but certainly couldn’t miss it. I did see mention that she would turn it off ahead of your visit, if requested, and I would recommend if you have any sensitivity to smells.

If you're sensitive to smells ,ask Andrea to turn off the room freshener nebulizer before you arrive. Or she'll come immediately when you arrive. The place smelled just fine without it. Even though it's an older building, it has been fully and carefully renewed.

This is an amazing property with a very cool house. Check-in was easy, Tyler is a very responsive host, and we were able to find everything we needed and wanted. We especially enjoyed the wood-fired sauna during sunrise, and the fire pit in the evenings.

Melissa and Brian were excellent hosts. The cottage was adorable, it was peaceful and relaxing. Sitting on the deck in the morning/evening was a plus to watching ducks, geese and having your coffee. We had a small water issue. I contacted Melissa and she was right on it. Brian was at the cottage in less than 30 minutes. He took care of it and no issue after that. I would highly recommend this property and hopefully return again.

We had such a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was warm, cozy, and incredibly relaxing—exactly what we were looking for. The hot tub and sauna were absolute highlights, perfect for the relaxation we were looking for.. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking spices and essentials we needed, which made it so easy to prepare meals without having to run to the store. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into making this place feel like home. We can’t wait to come back!

Booked this place for our anniversary to get away from the city for a weekend.. we found exactly what we were looking for! The hot tub was wonderful, the house was clean and cute, and we had everything we could have needed! Estelle was very responsive and gave clear instructions for everything. Would recommend this place for a quiet getaway or a small group trip in the summer!

We love this house! Beautiful spot nestled in in the cove of a private lake. We come back each year for a bowling tournament down the street. The massage chair is crazy good! Very responsive owner and they keep the place super clean. Can’t wait to come back!

Crissy and this beautiful cozy cabin in the woods, are both wonderful! Arrangements couldn’t be easier, lots of recommendations for things to do, but just hanging out in the home is nice too. Great place to unwind.

The place was amazing very at home feel and the the amenities were great. The hot tub was amazing and the steam shower was awesome. I would definitely book this place again if we come back to Maine.

We had a delightful stay at this cozy, clean and comfortable home. The home was functional, well designed and had a great kitchen for cooking/gathering and was exceptionally well stocked. It was peaceful there with beautiful scenery where we spent many hours just relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. Didn't go far from the house except to go for a cold water swim on Walker Beach which Samantha directed us to. We walked to the Olsen House/surrounding fields & down to the working wharfs where we were greeted by staff who shared information about the fishermen and sold us lobsters freshly caught. It was very hard for each of us to leave !! But, we left with fun memories and hopes to return one day. Thank you Samantha for being such a great host.
