Kim and Rene are amazing hosts, they are super friendly people. The house is equipped with all necessary stuff to do your vacations a success. I'd definitely come back. Extremely recommended!

Muy buena experiencia. Janina se comunicó conmigo y nos envió de manera muy clara todas las indicaciones de la casa y la información para el check in, que muy amablemente nos permitieron hacer un poco antes de la hora. El espacio es amplio y cómodo. Tiene implementos de cocina para preparar comida, buen internet y basureros para separar el reciclaje 💚 La propiedad es de fácil acceso y está muy cerca de la calle principal, pero a la vez es muy privada y silenciosa. Todo salió muy bien.

Happy House is the perfect name for this oasis! Our family was so lucky to get to stay there. The property is large and private. The covered patio ( we call it a California room in California) was amazing. The indoor/outdoor kitchen and living space was a great place for our family to relax after many adventurous days in Costa Rica. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable. There were geckos and bugs in the covered patio area but my boys loved that part! The beach is beautiful but there is a rip current right in front of the house but we walked a short distance in both directions and found great swimmable ocean for our kids. It was a great end to our Costa Rican vacation! Thanks Steve for opening up your special space to visitors! Pura Vida!

From the moment we arrived, his warm hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care made our vacation truly special. Silvio went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed whether recommending the best local eats or simply sharing his deep knowledge of the area’s culture and wildlife. His positive energy and dedication to guest satisfaction are what set this hotel apart. The property itself is a slice of paradise—tropical, tranquil, and just steps from the stunning Playa Grande. But it’s the people who make a place memorable, and Silvio’s kindness and professionalism made us feel like family. If you’re looking for an authentic, relaxing, and joy-filled Costa Rican experience, Caribbean Coconut Hotel—and especially Silvio—will exceed all expectations. Pura vida at its finest!

The people at the lodge are wonderful and made us feel very at home and welcome. Breakfast was really good too. We rented bikes from Mister Joseph and the ride to and from town took about 20 minutes because it is a bumpy unpaved rode but also has few cars and ocean views making it a pretty journey. The beach there is very dramatic with lovely sunrises. Isabelle is very active and engaged with the community and environmental projects and is a wealth of information about Cahuita. Roberto is also a gem of kindness and knows a ton about plants and animals.

Casa Viva is a unique place. Magnificent villa set in the jungle filled with wonderful vegetation. Excellent access to the beautiful beach, where guests have access to deckchairs and towels. Water equipment for rent at an additional cost. The villa is cleaned daily, towels are changed daily. Beautiful bathrooms, very comfortable bedrooms. Living room and terrace with a beautiful exposure to the garden. Generally the whole plot is safe, clean and tidy. The kitchen is very well equipped. Luis is a great host. Before our arrival, we received all the necessary information and recommendations of restaurants, shops and attractions. Highest possible rating.

Bezaubernde Gastgeber, die Unterkünfte mit verschiedenen Bungalows sind intim und trotzdem kann man sehr viel beieinander sein. Der Pool ist herrlich! Zugang zum Meer: wenige 100 m zum Playa Grande weg.

An oasis in the jungle just a short distance from the beaches, restaurants and activities. Paolo is a great guy. Super friendly and responsive. The space is beautiful, well decorated and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable and the shower pressure is impressive. Highly recommended and I hope to return. We were there for a week and felt right at home. There’s a large deck where we did yoga everyday with toucans chipping in the trees.

The stay at David's house was great and super spacious and has a beautiful decoration! They are two very well equipped houses. Only that decoration goes the light often. But it's something from the place of guapiles. The grill is outside the house. David was a friendly and very helpful host. And best of all, they accept pets.

Unser Aufenthalt in der Casa Cacao war super! Tito hat uns bei unserer Ankunft alles erklärt und war die ganze Zeit erreichbar. Er war sehr sympathisch! Vielen Dank!!!! Das Haus ist sehr modern und umgeben von vielen schönen Pflanzen. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und meinem Sohn hat das Schlafsofa auch sehr gut gefallen. Ein Highlight für unsere Kinder war der Pool. Die Lage war für uns perfekt: direkt um die Ecke des Nationalparks und nahe der Stadt Cahuita. Da das Haus dicht an der Straße liegt, hört man den Verkehr, was uns aber nicht gestört hat. Gut zu wissen: jegliche Gewürze müssten bei Bedarf mitgebracht werden. Mein Mann hebt besonders die eingebauten Bluetooth-Boxen hervor, was das Hörerlebnis von Bob Marley perfekt gemacht hat. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

My daughter and I loved our stay at Sirlen's place. It was perfect. Sirlen was quick to respond to any questions and she made sure we had everything we might need. The studio is only a short walk to the beach and town, but it is very private and peaceful. We felt very safe and secure. Loved being able to walk to the supermarket, shops and restaurants! We are looking forward to staying here again on our next visit.

I was travelling with my two children, a 2 year old and a teenager and we had the most wonderful time at his pristine bungalow. Its a little slice of heaven in Costa Rica, untouched and walkable to a beautiful beack down the road. The lighting and views from the terrace could not have been more gorgeous, I am already excite to come back. Ariana and her husband are so kind and always just one text or call away, and will assist you immediatly. Highly recommend.

The place is amazing, then room is cozy, comfortable, private, and has a lot of amenities to be just like in home. The pool is nice, there are chairs exclusive for you, and there is shared ranch also to cook and to have drinks if you want, as well as ice a and cold water. Mike is an excellent host, super friendly and kind, he was always checking on us to make sure we were ok. We had a great time in the beach and the coming back to Mike's place felt like coming back home to rest and peace. Overall an amazing experience! totally recommended 👌

100% recomendado, Nadine fue una excelente anfitriona, fue muy amable con nosotros y lo que ocupáramos ella estaba super pendiente, el hogar está super equipado, muy lindo, nos tenían snacks, frutas y bebidas al recibirnos; fue un detalle muy lindo. La piscina aunque pequeña se le saca súper provecho porque es honda, la cama muy cómoda, lo único es que tal vez uno no se sienta muy seguro afuera de la casa porque es al aire libre, pero de ahí en fuera súper recomendado. 💛
