We had the best 7 nights here. The location is great, just off the main road so it felt secluded yet only 5 minutes to all the restaurants. All the staff, Oli and Emilie were so nice and helpful. Our room was large and had everything we needed. We recommend having their breakfast, it’s great value and good! We felt relaxed throughout, and there is a nice social area by the pool where me made friends with other guests. A nice community feel. We honestly loved it and would like to come again and bring friends. We also adored Emma, their wonderful calm dog ha!

El hotel tiene buenas instalaciones. Todo está organizado, prolijo y limpio. El personal se mostró siempre muy atento a nuestros requerimientos. Brindando información valiosa de la zona: atractivos turísticos, locales comerciales, etc. Lo único a mejorar es la señal de wifi dentro de las habitaciones.

The room was very clean, there were some bugs (both alive and dead) at check in but you're staying in a tropical country so what do you expect. The gap under the door is also pretty big so I'd recommend covering it at night or while you're away so nothing gets in (we had a wolf spider pop its head in under the door and say hello) but once again, it's a tropical country, you're going to deal with that everywhere. The location is good, the walk to the beach is maybe 5 minutes and the center of town is probably 10. We didn't use the pool, it's pretty small but we were here for the beach anyway so we didn't mind.

Agustin's place was fantastic! With tamarindo being a relatively expensive area, this Airbnb was VERY affordable compared to other places. It also included breakfast, which was delicious! We had a slight issue with our shower handle & Augustin and Luna addressed it immediately to ensure we were comfortable and taken care of during our stay. It was a very loud Saturday night being surrounded around all the bars, but Agustin did disclose the noise warning and providing ear plugs :) he is a great host that cares!

Kyna and Elmer (...and Mogli) are great hosts. They made me feel very comfortable when I was there solo after my wife and daughter went back to the US a few days before I did. And the villas are very quiet and peaceful....very relaxing. Breakfast every morning was healthy and delicious. And whether you are a surfer or just a beach lover, the ocean (Playa Avellana) is truly a very short walk away from the villas. I have been traveling in Costa Rica for many years, and this place stands out as one of the best. I would stay (and probably will) there again for sure!

We had the best time staying at Calypso. The host Nico was friendly and personable, and we felt right at home. It was the perfect location being in walking distance to everything in the area that you would want to see. It was clean and a beautifully unique property. We look forward to returning at some point in the future.

Arthur is a great host, and makes a stellar breakfast too! Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to be close to the hustle and bustle of tamarindo, but in the peace and quiet of this lovely place!

We had an amazing week here! All of the staff were so pleasant, the food was delicious, and the location incredible! 40 steps to the sand! Would love to come back!

Agustin fue muy amable, hasta nos dio buenas recomandaciones de lugares y tours para hacer. La habitacion es amplia y linda, agradable, la alberca de buen tamaño. Si regreso a tamarindo me alojaria de nuevo aqui.

We absolutely loved this place! It’s quiet, peaceful and super safe. The hustle and bustle of Tamarindo is just far enough away.. The breakfast was also fantastic and the honor bar was a great feature. Will definitely be back…

Everything was great during our stay. The location is perfect, near the beach, supermarket and restaurants. The room has everything you will probably need, also the shared kitchen is well equiped. The hosts are very friendly and the breakfast was definitely the best part of our stay.

De los mejores Airbnbs en los que me he quedado! El lugar es privado, tranquilo y zen. La habitación cómoda exactamente como se ve en las fotos. Damiano y su pareja son hosts muy hospitalarios y agradables, sirven un buen desayuno en la mañana. De seguro que voy a volver!

Haus sieht aus wie beschrieben. Check in war einfach. Zimmer war klein aber fein. Frühstück war mit inbegriffen (Obst, Toast, Saft) Leider etwas laut durch den Straßenverkehr aber dafür kann ja niemand etwas.

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt. Gerne wieder. Uns wurde sehr viel geholfen und erklärt wo man gut essen kann. Sehr nette Gastgeber. Die Lage ist gut um an den Strand zu gelangen ca. 4 Minuten zu Fuß. Der Pool war sehr sauber.
