First Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. Great location (very quiet), clean, everything you could need and very homely. Janice was a great host and all instructions were clear. Great holiday, good value for money and would definitely recommend. Melanie.

Gary and Julia were very helpful on checking in, showing us around the cottage and providing us with helpful information. The cottage itself is beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice. It’s a lovely cottage in the countryside but close to lots of amenities and activities. The house was clean and well supplied. Hopefully will be back again, maybe for a longer stay. Thank you

We loved everything about our stay! The house was spotless and so welcoming and cosy. I stayed here with my grandad to see family and everything was accessible for him. The host was friendly and keen to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We were sad to leave and already can’t wait to come back!!

Amazing property that felt like a home from home. Perfect location for visiting everything in York. We walked to all locations from the house. Enjoyed our week as everything we could possibly need was provided. Katy was very responsive and we would definitely visit again in the future. Memories made!

Snug, comfy, quiet and superb location - all you could ask for when visiting Haworth! I had a great stay and a wonderful time! The cottage is delightful and in easy walking distance of key sights! Lyndsey was helpful and quick to respond to initial queries but, in truth, it was a relaxing, trouble-free visit! Will come back!

We stayed with our Rottweiler for my partners birthday and exceeded our expectations. Spotless lodge, thoughtful layout and safe for dogs, the snacks were also a really nice touch, perfect stay

Lovely spacious ground floor apartment in a gated Georgian Building full of character. I stayed with a female friend and we felt safe and secure at all times and the bonus of parking for two cars is a rare find in Clitheroe. The welcome goods on arrival plus milk in the fridge were a nice touch too. I am familiar with Clitheroe as I shop there but have never stayed overnight but would do again definitely as there are lots of good places to eat and drink such as Holmes Mill, The Emporium and Wills Restaurant to name but a few. Also some nice independent shops too. My friend is from Scotland and she cant wait to return. There are also several excellent restaurants a short drive from Clitheroe too. The Ribble Valley offers lots to explore and some great scenery. Well worth a visit is the Melt Candle company in Waddington which is a ten minutes drive away. Tina is a great host and happy to help with anything and keeps in touch with you. I would definitely recommend you stay here.

Our stay was perfect. The location is amazing, right in the heart of York and a short walk to York Minster, which we did every day to “check on her”! Eating places and pubs all close by and in the same street too. Just a wonderful experience in this beautiful medieval city. Highly recommend. And on a clear day you can see York Minster through the roof windows which was delightful.

Absolutely wonderful and gorgeous little cottage. Lots of character, really clean, cozy and warm. Quiet in the evenings, lovely village with everything you need, and nice places to eat. Amazing Irish bar round the corner with live music. Julie was wonderful, and on hand when we needed anything. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back :)

We had a lovely time. It was like a home from home. Emma couldn't do enough for us. The bed was really comfortable and there were plenty of enticing cafes and restaurants in Bishop Auckland.

Fantastic stay at Jules’s place! We felt at home immediately. It was spotless, and had everything we needed. The bedroom was like a hotel room! Couldn’t have asked for more. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely stay at Martin and Carmen's flat! Had everything we needed for a 4 night stay with our dog. Comfortable, clean and a great location for buses into town or a lovely stroll into Headingley.

Had a fantastic stay in Hebden. The property is so homely and feels like a really authentic experience. There are two main walks into town - a scenic waterside route along the canal and a fantastic one along the main road which takes you past a lot of local homes with displays in the window. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Anne’s place had everything you needed for a short stay , was easy to find with handy parking behind the property . Breakfast was supplied which was a real bonus and milk and tea/ coffee and the beds were comfy . We went into Durham which was only 3-4 miles away and had the best Italian I’ve ever had so all in all a great stay . Thanks Anne . Sarah

Delightful , quaint, cosy cottage set in beautiful surroundings and countryside. It was so relaxing to sit back, watch and listen to the wildlife. The locals were very friendly and welcoming and offered their knowledge of the area for walks and the wildlife. The cottage is well equipped with everything you could need and within easy reach of the local amenities. There are many picturesque walks right on your doorstep which are simply divine and great for furry friends. Angus and Murphy had such a fabulous time as they love the water and running free. My family and I (7 adults & 1 child) recently stayed at ‘The Cottage’ and we all agreed that it was a wonderful holiday. The house is beautiful, very spacious, spotlessly clean and was well equipped for all of our needs. The hub is definitely the kitchen, we enjoyed playing family board games around the dining table. The gardens are amazing we loved watching wild rabbits, squirrels and cows everyday. It was nice to see home grown vegetables and a herb garden too. Our grandson enjoyed playing football with his dad in the garden, jumping on the trampoline and feeding the fish. It is ideally located for travelling into York and not far from the designer outlet. Our group ranged in age from 2yrs to 78yrs and there was something for everyone to do at the house. We all really needed a family break due to recent illness and enjoyed spending time together making lovely memories. We hope to be able to stay again and thank both Neil and Adrienne for sharing their beautiful home with us.
