Don’t miss out on shell mound and the lower Suwannee - only 15 minutes away. This stay was the perfect way to unplug and connect with nature. The town was serene. I will be definitely be back. *** Highly recommend downloading an offline map of the area….I do this when traveling sometimes but didn’t plan ahead for this trip. I had service and WiFi at the Airbnb but the majority of the island and surrounding area was hit or miss on reception.

Great little place in a quiet neighborhood. The house itself is beautiful. Looks like a dollhouse. The neighborhood is quaint. A step back in time. My only suggestion would be a couple of chairs for the cute little upstairs porch for stargazing.

Katie was great to work with. The unit was perfect for our needs. Something we missed about the unit was it being 3 floors with stairs to climb between floors. If it was listed, we missed reading it. I have bad knees so it wasn't easy for me to climb upstairs to the kitchen on 3rd floor from the 1st floor master bedroom. Overall, the place was great. Easy walking around the area to downtown; restaurants

Highly Recommend! Found this gem last minute for a spontaneous weekend get away with hubby. Amazing views!! The place was just adorable and we felt so comfortable right from the greeting by Sonya; She was delightful. Dace was on top of everything, and patient with me being somewhat new to AirBnB. I have to admit, the elevator did make me feel ritzy for a weekend too, loved that! I know hotels have them but it’s different in a house & going up 4 floors! Oh, and no need to stop at the Welcome Center before check in. Sonya & Dace have everything you need in a binder right there on the table! Super helpful & saved us a stop. lol We will 100% stay here again!

Couple in our 50’s, & 8 yo grandson. Place was as described, 3 story condo. The great! Quiet private within walking or golf cart (rent from Cedar Key Adventures Dock St. recommended by hosts) skip the sketch guy outside condo area. There is a nice playground on way to Dock St action. Saw many porpoises and birds from the balconies. Clean bathroom. VERY nice remodeled kitchen Spices, Mr. Coffee, Keurig, mixer, new appliances all in a bright kitchen open to vaulted living on top floor. Main bedroom on top floor with decent king. Hear the waves! Need to know: The stairs are kinda steep, my husband’s knees were sad. Glad we did not bring our old corgi dog. The first night we went to Dock street area, was a fest going on. You needed to have a prepaid badge to get in most restaurants. Should have done our homework. Iffy internet/TV. Five stars for price and laid back Cedar Key. 4.5 in other more polished area of FL. Just have reasonable expectations and enjoy the breeze! Would return!

We loved the over the ocean place! The 2 balconies made me fall in love with this spot! Everything was so beautiful! Everything is within walking distance. They've done a beautiful job recovering from the hurricane. We kayaked the ocean for 2 days and there's even a spot to keep the kayaks down by the carport. When I come back to Cedar Key I'll definitely stay here again.

This house is Amazing! We had such a great time! every room has got its own comfy little atmosphere! You can grill, hope in the hot tub, or sit up on the balcony and catch some sun and amazing views! Kitchen and Bathrooms are fully stacked with all the things you need. Even extra TP, Paper Towels, Garbage bags,cleaners, seasonings/condiments, coffee, ice cream, I mean they really think of everything! Neighborhood was nice, cozy and quiet. The house itself is right up against a public beach access to the river, so we had plenty opportunity to get out and enjoy some swimming and fun down there. The actual headwaters for the springs are about 10 minutes up the way, and that main strip in town is about 5 minutes and has just about everything you could need. We loved our stay here! Had the time of our lives and would love to get the chance to come back! 10 out of 10 recommend for anybody interested!

This AirBNB was a bit far from town but it was quiet and peaceful. I had a hard time getting in with the code provided and there was no internet or phone service so it took about 45 minutes to get an updated front door code that worked. When you enter the code you have to hit the lock button to unlock the door. This was a first for me and I wish that piece of info would have been in the check-in instructions. I'd recommend printing your check-in instructions before you arrive so you don't have the same issue I did. Once we got inside the interior was beautiful. The home was spacious and the amenities were more than I expected. The internet worked great and I was able to do some work on my laptop without any issues. The furniture and beds were top of the line. Seriously one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. The view was amazing!

We had a wonderful stay in Dunnellon Fl. The house is clean, comfortable, well equipped, has great WiFI and is full of character and charm. The property is private, peaceful and has beautiful surroundings. Thanks for hosting us Jennifer and Alfred we are looking forward to our next stay.

Absolutely stunning location and an amazing view of Rainbow River. Definitely an older property that could use some updating, but everything was super clean, and the price point made for a really good value. Host was super responsive and friendly. Thanks again for letting us stay!

We stayed for a week during spring break and it was worth every penny! So close to the Private Beach access to the Rainbow River, very easy walk. We lived in Dunnellon for years and it was nice to be able to come and stay again. Felt like home! We had a small issue with the AC and Kristin was so helpful and the issue was resolved very quickly. It’s important because stuff like this happens, and how one handles it really matters! Kristin couldn’t have addressed and fixed the problem any better! The private beach is so peaceful and beautiful - great for kids and families to gather and spend the whole day. The little extras really made it fun. Goggles and fins, fishing poles and a tackle box; everything you could need to enjoy the Rainbow! The house was stocked with anything and everything we needed and the place was spotless upon entering. I am beyond pleased with our experience and we will certainly return back when we come visit our old hometown. Thank you Kristin!!

The location is wonderfully perfect! There was a little bit for everyone to enjoy. We all thoroughly enjoyed starting and ending the day from the dock, the neighborhood was peaceful. We enjoyed the Singing River Tour with Captain's John and Luk. We hope to be back again.

This was an amazing stay. The Cedar Key are was devasted from hurricane Helene, We were happy to be able to contribute to the local economy. Our accommodation was more than spectacular. The condo was clean and it has the most amazing view. It was peaceful and quiet and this was the best weekend we have had in a very long time. We will be back. 10 our of 10.

I recently stayed at Pelican Vacation Home in Cedar Key, and it was an incredible experience! The stunning views of the Gulf and the peaceful surroundings made it the perfect escape. The home was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The large deck quickly became our favorite spot for watching the sunrise and sunset, all while enjoying the ocean breeze. The fully stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and the comfortable bedrooms ensured a restful stay. The location was ideal—just a short walk to Cedar Key’s quaint shops, restaurants, and the beach, yet still offering plenty of peace and quiet. We also enjoyed kayaking and exploring the local wildlife. The owners were wonderful—responsive and helpful from start to finish, making our stay seamless. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with all the comforts of home and stunning views, I highly recommend Pelican Vacation Home. We can't wait to visit again!

We loved Cedar Key. The town is working so hard to come back after the hurricane in the Fall of 2024. We’ve never vacationed at a place where people were so friendly. There’s a few restaurants that are open, welcoming and good. There’s seafood - crabs, oysters and shrimp, for sale on CK. It’s a terrific place to watch sea birds and the tides. We enjoyed kayaking to the surrounding islands. There are lots of fishing boat charters. We could walk all around town and did every day. The biggest downfall is the grocery store was destroyed during the hurricane. There are quite a few small towns within 1/2 hour to an hour drive. We planned activities in those areas and stopped at their grocery stores. Cedar Key is a great place to visit.

Jeremy's condo on the Gulf is an outstanding value and everything we were looking for! We spent hours on the balcony watching dolphins and birds, and enjoying the beautiful view. The space was very clean and Jeremy was immediately responsive with any questions we had. Cedar Key is a uniquely restful and friendly community - we look forward to returning next year.

The place was awesome, very clean, morning coffee with sunrise over water. The bed could use a pillow top, it was pretty hard. Nice easy walk to town, very peaceful, nice people, we enjoyed the town. The only complaint was pool was shut down will we were there and hot tub was still broken from last storm, hoping for a some sort of refund. We will probably try staying again in a couple years when fix town up from the hurricanes.

We loved our stay! The unit was very comfortable and accommodating with everything we needed. The walk to town was easy and fun. Katie was very responsive and clear in her communications. Our absolute favorite thing to do there every day was sit on the balcony and watch the dolphins play. There were a ton of them all throughout the day!!! What a wonderful experience!!!!
