Centrally located, it is a short drive to Winterplace Ski Resort, Hatfield McCoy Trail, Pipestem State Park, New River and Bluestone River. An EV charging station is 1/2 mile away. A couple’s get away, traveling for business, or family vacay, our cabin is perfect. We strive to make every guest as comfortable as possible!

We are just 20 minutes from winter place, 30 minutes from the new river gorge and four minutes from Raleigh General hospital. Ideal place for skiers, rafters, or travel nurses. Also a short drive to White Water Rafting & Hatfield Mcoy Trails 2 parking spaces 2 full size couches 2 bunk beds & king available . WiFi & SmartTV. All linens & cookware provided, including coffee pot, coffee for your use and a few quick breakfast items. Back yard has a private sitting area with fire pit and small grill. Fire logs provided.

Cozy Farm Cottage with a View 3.3 MILES OFF I-77

Come enjoy quiet seclusion on a 210 acre farm located 5 miles from Winterplace ski resort and Weathered Grounds Brewery and only 3 miles off the Ghent exit! Self check-in on a private half mile long road. Feed the fish with two ponds full of blue gill, coy, bass and catfish. Hike or mountain bike on miles of trails throughout the property! Then come drink hot chocolate next to the fireplace, or have a glass of wine while watching the sunset on the covered porch!

When visiting the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, stay at this quaint stone cottage less than a mile off of Route 19 in downtown Oak Hill, WV. Things to Note: This little cottage has skylights upstairs, so light floods into this space from sunrise to sundown. Also, the mattress is firm. Finally, the hot water is provided via a tankless hot water heater, which has been known to cause water temperature variability.
