We enjoyed our stay! Everything went well from start to finish, and it is a very peaceful and relaxing location.

The home was just what was pictured. The backyard was great. We were only there one night so didn’t get to use the hot tub and other amenities. Plenty of beds for people to sleep and lots of floor room. Beds were super comfortable. There is no bathtubs in the house which was hard for the small children we had but we made due. The traffic on the street was very loud the night we stayed but the host can’t help that. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again if coming to the area.

Me and all of my cousins had a great stay at Marilynn’s home. Everything was nice, clean and cozy. Our host was gracious and polite whom answered all of our questions in a very timely manner. Would recommend to everyone and will definitely stay again.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a gem. The home was not only spotlessly clean but also beautifully decorated and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel like our own private retreat. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Our host went above and beyond, communication was clear, check-in was seamless, and we truly felt welcomed. It’s clear they put a lot of love and care into making this space special. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful escape or a base to explore the area, this place has it all. We can’t recommend it highly enough and are already dreaming about our next visit. Anna Beth is an AMAZING host. She was immediately responsive and solution-oriented in her approach. She not only answered, but also took action. We were in town for business and needed to iron blazers, but did not see an ironing board. Anna Beth was SO THOUGHTFUL to have an ironing board AND STEAMER delivered first thing in the morning, well in time for the event. Superb home on a great piece of property with a great drive up to the driveway and a stunning backyard. Everything you could ask for. Great place, great host, great stay. Would stay again.

Our stay was wonderful. The location is good, the cottage was sweet and had everything we needed plus some. Rain is an excellent host and we would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely perfect stay - our dogs loved the privacy and pristine woods with great cleared trails. We were only 23 minutes away from all the pottery studios. The keypad entry made it so easy and flexible to check in and out. Everything we needed was provided (including extras such as soap, coffee w/creamer and sugar, laundry detergent, ziplock bags, games, books, baby wipes, etc.). The bed was comfortable with crisp white sheets and plenty of pillows and extra blankets. We had reliable free WiFi and we enjoyed watching a movie on the comfy couch. Couldn’t have been more pleased and will definitely be rebooking!

The apartment was perfect! The work space was great and it already has a display screen. Mohmeet checked in during my stay and was very proactive. I will definitely stay here again. The walls are pretty thin. It didn’t bother me, but if you’re a light sleeper it could be a bother.

Cassie was a wonderful host. She had everything laid out and easy to use. We had a great stay. Would stay again if ever in the area. Don’t hesitate.

I was staying at Paulina's airbnb for a weekend course. It was a six hour drive to Southern Pines, and arriving at the studio felt like arriving home -- it was tidy, cozy-looking, and felt like Paulina thought of everything you could possibly need. Snacks in the kitchen for an afternoon arrival, the bed made with a blanket on top, cutlery and placeware if you wanted to eat in, and shower products available to use in the bathroom. Lighting was good, the electric stove in the fireplace is a nice touch, and a TV that swivels so you can watch from the bed or the love seat. It feels like the type of place that your family or friend has prepared for you, and it's guaranteed to be a really sweet stay. Also, it's close to stores for picking up groceries, restaurants for eating out or grabbing take away, and outdoor areas to take a walk or enjoy live music. Nothing but praises for this place. :)

This was not my first stay at the Scout House, and it will not be my last. Everything about it is perfection - from the location, to the property, to the sensational hosts (Marie & BJ). My stay was delightful in every way and I cannot wait to return!

I have been in Barbara’s place several times and always come back, her place is cozy and located in a beautiful natural place. She is also a great host and you feel at home. I would highly recommend.

This cabin is bright and cozy, the environs idyllic, and Daniel was extremely responsive and went the extra mile checking in on us when snow was predicted before our stay and making sure the steps were de-iced and the boot tray was handy. very comfortable and convenient!

Great location! Loved the property and peacefulness of the River and tranquility of every view and fire pit.

Though I live close by in Cary, I needed a quiet retreat to finish writing my book and Barbara's place was perfect! Thoughtful touches throughout the home, incredibly clean, the kitchen is stocked with everything you might need to cook as if you were at home, and Barbara's communication was exceptional. I highly recommend this place for everyone as it's great for solo travelers, couples, or families. Make sure you have a sit in the hanging chair in the living room - it's delightful :) Thanks, Barbara!

Our stay was absolutely beautiful by the river in the cutest little wagon. Everything was even better than described. The bathrooms and wagon were so CLEAN. We had a small little operator error (my fault) with the mini split and Megan was super accommodating, understanding & responsive. We will definitely be back! There is a the best pizza place within walking distance! We just loved it!
